Hello gamers I hope everyone is very well, for my part I just wanted to tell you my experience in wow classic and is that this version of wow I could never try it, I read many comments saying that Blizzard with its classic server did not have 100% vanilla experience so I decided to get into a private server, this will be the story NOT of how I lived on the contrary will be the story of how I died for being Venezuelan.
In this adventure I wanted to try a private server 100% vanilla where they speak quite well of it, this called Turtle wow offers x1 rates and a vanilla experience with a plus which its developers are launching seasonally to refresh this experience a little, one of the things that caught my attention of this server is that they added two races (high elves and goblins) which in this version did not exist, on the other hand there are enough balance changes in their races which makes the game quite even between races although there is still some better than others. On the other hand, although the ping is not as good as in the official blizzard server, it is quite playable.
My experience with the server has been good, I could try different classes and races, the balance changes and create the characters seeing their differences, the truth to be vanilla I really enjoyed the experience testing this server, on the other hand has very good challenges which you can accept as soon as you create the character talking to an npc or buying scrolls, One of the things that caught my attention is that to accept the challenge HARDCORE I had to talk to an NPC which gave me some rules to follow, but basically he told me that I only had one chance and my soul after dying would NOT return to my body.
HARDCORE CHALLENGE
After trying several classes I decided to go as a mage and despite being a class which you have to face several situations without a pet (as in the case of the warlock), I wanted to try this class to go up in the challenge, the truth is that I did not have many problems in the first levels, but when I got to paramos de poniente it got really difficult with the defias, even so I could pass that zone, I wanted to go to COSTA OSCURA and go up a little level there until I reached 20, while I was doing that I went up alchemy and first aid so I could heal myself in case of emergency.
If you die you leave some graves for a period of time which tells you who died and at what level ☹ here I saw someone who died at level 28.
A death foretold?
I remember that the day before my death the power had gone out a couple of times in my area, even so I wanted to continue playing and proving that no matter if the power went out, I could meet the challenge (how wrong I was), (NOTE: IN VENEZUELA THERE ARE MANY FAILURES WITH THE LIGHT, THIS CAUSES THE PC TO TURN OFF AND THE CHARACTER IS AT RISK OF DEATH AND DEATH HERE IS PERMANENT, IF YOU DIE YOU LOSE THE CHARACTER), I still decided to continue playing, at night I had left him in Villa Crestagrama I did several missions but when fighting against a Gnoll Caster just at that moment I had an internet failure of 5 seconds because of the power cuts ☹ that's how I died, because of so many constant power cuts the internet had a failure and my character was left without casting and letting them hit him until his death, REST IN PEACE.
I had done the custom mission of the server which at level 20 gives you a pretty nice mount in the form of an egg, which when you turn it in wakes up a turtle and becomes your mount ☹ that didn't save me from death the next day either.
Would I try the challenge again?
Unfortunately being from Venezuela and having so many problems with the light makes it quite complicated to do one of these challenges, the truth I LOVED everything I lived in this challenge HARDCORE as I could feel and rollear the sensations of reaching a village and complete their missions, face elites, freeze the enemies and save him when he had little life, I think you live the game a little more real which makes it a more attractive, although I think my situation would not change and the result would be the same, if I would like to try again to see how far I could get BUT this time I would take it much more seriously and I would take a lot of time to climb professions, skills, complete secondary misinoes. Hola gamers espero todos estén muy bien, por mi parte quería solo contarles mi experiencia en wow classic y es que esta versión de wow yo nunca la pude probar, lei bastantes comentarios diciendo que Blizzard con su servidor classic no tenía el 100% de experiencia vanilla asi que decidí meterme en un servidor privado, esta será la historia NO de como viví todo lo contrario será la historia de como MORI por ser venezolano.
En esta aventura quise probar un servidor privado 100% vanilla donde se habla bastante bien de él, este llamado Turtle wow ofrece rates x1 y una experiencia vanilla con un plus el cual sus desarrolladores van lanzando por temporada para asi refrescar un poco esta experiencia, una de las cosas que más me llamo la atención de este servidor es que agregaron dos razas (altos elfos y goblins) los cuales en esta versión no existían, por otra parte hay bastante cambios de balance en sus razas lo que hace que el jeugo este bastante parejo entre razas aunque no deja de haber alguna mejor que otra. Por otra parte, aunque el ping no lo tengo como en el servidor oficial de blizzard es bastante jugable.
Mi experiencia con el servidor a sido buena, pude probar diferentes clases y razas, los cambios de balance y crearme los personajes viendo sus diferencias, la verdad para ser vanilla disfrute bastante la experiencia probando este servidor, por otro lado tiene muy buenos retos los cuales puedes aceptar apenas creas el personajes hablando con un npc o comprando pergaminos, una de las cosas que más me llamo la atención es que para aceptar el reto HARDCORE tuve que hablar con un NPC el cual em dio unas reglas a seguir, pero básicamente me dijo que solo tenía una oportunidad y mi alma tras morir NO volvería a mi cuerpo.
RETO HARDCORE
Luego de probar varias clases decidí irme siendo mago y es que a pesar de ser una clase la cual tienes que enfrentarte a varias situaciones sin mascota (como en el caso del brujo), quise probar esta clase para ir subiendo en el reto, la verdad no tuve muchos problemas en los primeros niveles, pero cuando llegue a paramos de poniente se puso realmente dificil con los defias, aun asi pude pasar esa zona, quise irme a COSTA OSCURA y subir un poco de nivel allá hasta llegar a 20, mientras hacía eso fui subiendo alquimia y primeros auxilios para asi poder curarme en caso de emergencia.
Si mueres dejas unas tumbas por un periodo de tiempo el cual te avisa quien murio y a qué nivel ☹ aquí vi alguien que murio a nivel 28.
¿Una muerte anunciada?
Recuerdo que el día anterior a mi muerte se habia ido la luz un par de veces en mi zona, aun asi quise seguir jugando y probando que no importa que se fuera la luz, podría cumplir el reto (que equivocado estaba), (NOTA: EN VENEZUELA HAY MUCHAS FALLAS CON LA LUZ, ESTO PROVOCA QUE SE APAGUE LA PC Y EL PERSONAJE ESTE EN RIESGO DE MORIR Y LA MUERTE AQUÍ ES PERMANENETE, SI MUERES PIERDES EL PJ), igual decidí seguir jugando, en la noche lo habia dejado en Villa Crestagrama hice varias misiones pero al pelear contra un Gnoll Caster justo en ese momento tuve una falla de internet de 5 segundos por los bajones de luz ☹ asi fue como morí, por tantos constantes bajones de luz el internet tuvo una falla y mi personaje se quedó sin castear y dejando que le pegaran hasta su muerte, DESCANSA EN PAZ.
Habia hecho la mision custom del server el cual a nivel 20 te dan una montura bastante bonita en forma de huevo, que al entregarlo despierta una tortuga y se vuelve tu montura ☹ eso tampoco me salvo de la muerte al siguiente día.
¿Volviera a intentar el reto?
Lamentablemente el hecho de ser de Venezuela y tener tantos problemas con la luz hace bastante complicado hacer uno de estos retos, la verdad ME ENCANTO todo lo que viví en este reto HARDCORE ya que pude sentir y rollear las sensaciones de llegar a una villa y completar sus misiones, enfrentarme a elites, congelar a los enemigos y salvarle cuando tenía poca vida, creo que vives el juego un poco más real lo que lo hace una más atractivo, aunque creo que mi situación no cambiaría y el resultado sería el mismo, si me gustaría volver a intentarlo para ver hasta donde podría llegar PERO esta vez me lo tomaría mucho más enserio y me tomaría mucho tiempo en subir profesiones, habilidades, completar misinoes secundarias. Siempre he querido jugar al wow pero nunca he tenido tiempo y sobre todo no se como empezar, también siento que ya es un poco tarde para empezara a jugarlo, sin embargo al ver como te diviertes me provoca probarlo, un saludo.
Nunca es tarde, pero te entiendo perfectamente por eso mismo me busque servidores privados, siento que estos no te consumen tanto tiempo y ademas tiene buenos desarrolladores :) Por otra parte siento que wow retail a cambiado bastante yo sinceramente dudo que pueda acostumbrarme a todos los cambios, prefiero una version mas clasica
