Hello community of gamers and game lovers, some time ago I came across this news where many players were upset to learn of this new wave of layoffs by the company, specifically I want to talk about a project which is quite new as is Warcraft Rumble and if we think a little this is a new project which has been attacked from all fronts, and that has received much negative feedback but still I see that it can have a good development falling into the right hands.
It is no secret to anyone that this game has multiple bugs and can undoubtedly become a pay to win (which in itself can be), even so it is a strategy game for mobile devices which has a great future as it is based on the popular mmorpg World of Warcraft, so the development of this project can be almost infinite as it is attacked to wow.
Even so many people consider that the game was born dead because it lacked many things that it already has today such as raids, gangs and more characterization between factions as well as more diversity of troops, even so the game has many bugs which can affect the player experience such as crashes, restarts, freezes in the middle of the game, loss of offers among others, but then the game is as bad as they say?
In my opinion, members of my brotherhood and people on discord, is that no, the game has a lot of potential and fulfills its function as a mobile game, which is to provide fun to people who do not have the time or ability to play for long periods of time to wow, bringing to mobile devices that little part of Azeroth that we all like, on the other hand we see how despite the bugs the developers try to give a prompt solution to these same constantly releasing updates and patches to improve performance, function and user experience.
The dismissal of more than 600 people is worrisome
However, the layoff of many developers of this video game company is quite worrying for this new project since there are many expectations as well as excitement to see a new expansion within this game, iconic bosses and see how far Warcraft Rumble can give, these layoffs makes the community wonder if many of the projects that are related to Warcraft Rumble will be negatively affected with the departure of half of the workforce of Warcraft Rumble.
I think a game can not be born dead because it was not born at the time of its release, the game so far seems pretty good and fulfills its function perhaps there is a large part of the community that are used to pass a game in a day or have progress of 8 hours continuous (as in the case of wow) and to see this jeugo run into a big barrier (barrier designed to not pass all in one time), which makes that this new generation of gamers may not know how to appreciate or dedicate time to a game that clearly is designed in a way that you don't need to spend 8 continuous hours to have a real progress, and what do you think? Have you tried the game recently? Do you think the layoffs are aimed at improving these new projects or will Warcraft Rumble be severely affected? So far this season 8 there were new dungeons and minis as well as stickers and cores that help a lot to the individual development of the team, I think the Rumble players are waiting for what can happen in the future, don't forget to comment and share, see you later my friend Gamer.
¿has probado el juego recientemente?
I played it when it was just released, it was a very fun game, but I stopped playing it due to lack of time.
It is quite good for people who have almost no time, especially because of the events, every week there is an active event.
I had no idea that such a Warcraft game existed for mobile devices, I will look for it to see how it is, thanks in advance for sharing it.
I think the sad point of it all is the news of the massive layoffs of more than 600 people, that's really sad. I suppose that in some way or another there will be projects that will be affected by this, let's hope I'm wrong. It was quite good the information you share here, it was entertaining to read you during this time.
Thanks for your comment, these layoffs definitely affect a lot of people and projects, although they expressed that none will be closed, apparently Rumble has not been affected so good for that.
600 employees is a huge number, how many of them were directly involved in this game? Jt has to affect the game development and updates.
What is most feared is that these layoffs affect internally the future projects that the game has or the new seasons that are coming, however so far everything has gone well, on the other hand I understand that there were a little less than 100 people in this project (as I read in discord) now there are more or less half but osn positions that “should not” affect the game itself.
