If you've been following my massive Dragon Age playthrough, I apologise for this intermission of Hogwarts Legacy. If, however, you've been awaiting the day I stop posting daily Dragon Age, then you're in luck... just for today anyway. 😉
Don't worry; there'll be more Dragon Age tomorrow! 😁
Meet Ellu'kha Kael, future witch of the wizarding world. The character creator isn't the best ever but it has some good options so I'm not too sad about it. My character is only a fifteen year old child after all; don't need to be Busty McBoobalicious with high cheek bones, bright red lips, dark makeup and dominatrix boots. Although I totally would if I could. Maybe on my second playthrough there'll be mods available. xD
Ahem. Anyway. It's time to go on a journey — a magical journey — let's begin! ✨🔮🧙♀️
Honestly, I was going to do a written full playthrough of this game and share it here once I was done with Dragon Age, but after discovering that the wonderful Nvidia Ansel works with it... all of my plans vanished. Instead of experiencing the story as soon as possible and drinking it in bit by bit so I could write it down at the same time, I found myself exploring my surrounds and taking nice photos instead. For hours.
To be expected, really. xD
The game doesn't come with an inbuilt photo mode, but Ansel is fantastic as always. Providing you keep the camera in the immediate area. I have wandered off only to discover some NPC faces have been completely untextured because they're not in my vicinity.
Still, as long as you keep the camera generally around where you are, it's fine.
Unfortunately I didn't discover that Ansel was available until after I completed the first tutorial mission. There were some beautiful areas and effects in that location that would've been amazing with some photo finishes.
But that's okay. Plenty to explore and photograph regardless! And who knows, as I progress through the story I might actually find my way back there.
There will probably be a couple of these screenshot showcases. 😊 This really is a beautiful game and I can't help but get lost in admiring my surroundings instead of visiting my magic lessons.
Please enjoy this collection of screenshots. ❤️
I'm still experiencing my "first day at Hogwarts" so haven't progressed much through the actual game just yet. 😅 But I'm finding it quite fun so far. The movement is intuitive, combat is too, there are a lot of collectables to find and customisable outfits to wear.
I'm looking forward to sharing another screenshot showcase with you again soon. 😊 This game is too pretty not to!
Until next time! ✨🔮
Every time I come across a cat i have to stop and pet them!
Me too! 😁 I'm just waiting for a random achievement to pop up for patting 1000 cats or so, haha!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm crazy about this game, I wish I could play it on my computer but I would need more memory as mine only has 8G and requires 16, but I'm a big POTTERHEAD, so imagine what this game means to me. I've seen a lot of gameplays and I'm getting more and more fascinated, on the other hand it reminds me of Assassins Sreed.

I hope you get to play it soon! 😁 I'm not a huge Potterhead, just a mild enjoyer of the movies and never read the books, but I'm reeeeeeeeally enjoying this. So I imagine a true Potterhead would absolutely LOOOVEEEE it. 😁
It looks eye-poppingly gorgeous...Seems like it needs a minimum of 16gigs of ram tho.I would likely need to upgrade my system before I can check it out , maybe over the summer I can afford to upgrade and check this out.
Wonderful screenshots , they look like oil paintings :).
At least RAM is one of the least expensive components to upgrade. 😊 I need to get some more RAM... this PC was built with 32gb in mind, but one of the sticks was faulty so I only have 16gb. Will be rectifying that in coming months. It was so disappointing to get everything built then LO! A dead RAM stick.
The game is truly beautiful! They do look like oil paintings don't they? 😅😅 That's mostly thanks to my Nvidia Ansel settings though. I have it set so there's a bit more brightness/contrast, a slight "night time" filter which adds a hint of yellow, and "specialfx" which adds a bit of blue and vignetting. I think the combination looks quite nice!
This is without Ansel filters:
It looks beautiful, I really hope I can get the game soon because I'm really a fan of the Harry Potter universe and I've been waiting for this game for a while. I hope you enjoy the game a lot.
The game is beautiful. Because I can't buy it I have watched several streams and was quite amazed at how beautiful this game is. I like that you went to the trouble of not adding spoilers, I think that's a pretty tricky thing to do. I hope you continue to enjoy this wonderful game and keep on petting the beautiful kitties.
All of these screenshots are out in the open with no obvious story happening so no chance of spoilers 😁 unfortunately, my next screenshot showcase might end up having a few in it. 😅 Might post them a bit later on so the game has had a chance to release and such first.
It's really a beautiful game! I wasn't going to get it but my partner did, so he shared his Steam library with me so I could play it on my account while he was at work, haha. Then, within an hour I was like, okay! Buy it now! xD
How are you liking it so far? I just got past the Hogsmeade section!
I'm really enjoying it so far! At the moment I've just left the castle to find someone at a little hamlet... and have just discovered how large the world map is. It's a decent size! Can't wait to explore it all!! 😁
I'm not really a Harry Potter fan. Like, I watched the movies and I enjoyed them. But I'm not a huuuuge fan. My partner is, lol. But yeah — this has exceeded my expectations really. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I am!
I'm in the same boat! Only watched like 1 movie, and I'm currently on Order of the Phoenix when it comes to the books xD
Damm girl! Love the screenshots as always. The last one is my favourite. Take your magic lessons as well lol. How big is the school?
!PIZZA
It's pretty huge!! Very twisty, topsy turvy and hard to navigate, haha! Thankfully there's a fast travel system, and also a guide system if you're having difficulty finding the area you're supposed to be. 😅
I am so excited about this game. It looks so beautiful.
The game looks beautiful 😻😻😻 I'm dying to play it.
The game looks great, i must buy it sooner.
looks magical. 😆
It is! xD
