Just under a week ago I wrote about creating a new warrior in WoW to level with my partner's paladin, thus allowing my rogue the freedom it deserved to go on its way by itself.
My rogue is currently level 28 and the warrior 25 and I can say now that my warrior's damage output is absolutely abysmal compared to my rogue. It misses and gets dodged so much, it's quite frustrating.
Funny story: we got attacked by a couple of Alliance players at one point (while we were attacking two other mobs, no less) — another Paladin and Warrior combo — and defeated them quite readily due to playing right next to eachother and being able to coordinate. They rezzed and attacked again, despite being at half health, and we took care of them again. One of them rezzed next to me, again, and started eating. Because he had the audacity to attack us while we were already in combat with a mob, I wailed on him with both of my axes, again. He deserved no mercy. So he's sitting there, eating, not moving, and my warrior is missing each hit. It was ludicrous. But finally I got him and they didn't bother coming back. Good riddance.
I just thought it was ridiculous that my warrior was missing so much. Like, the enemy wasn't even moving. Just sitting there. Trying to heal after his unfortunate decision. And the axes weren't making contact with him, haha.
Over on the rogue side of things, I've finally complete the rogue quest that allows me to create some poisons to coat my weapons with.
This was the first time I've ever completed this quest as the first rogue I ever made was in Mists of Pandaria so I have no idea what to expect with classic rogues and their class quests. Same to be said with the warrior, really. I made my first warrior, my first ever character, in Wrath of the Lich King, and it definitely seemed more fluid at that time than what I'm experiencing with the warrior now in Classic.
The rogue quest involved getting poisoned with a terrible thing that made it so my agility was reduced and I was unable to stealth or vanish.
Feeling quite vulnerable, I took the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Undercity and ran through Silverpine Forest into Hillsbrad, a contested zone where many Alliance characters and Horde alike level. I had my screen zoomed out all the way so I could see all around me to make sure there were no Alliance players and ran through the zone until I finally reached my destination: an undead alchemist who could cure me of my ailment.
Cured, I could stealth again! And all was right with the world.
Since I was in the area, I also discovered Ravenholdt Manor for the first time. Back in Mists of Pandaria, some friends and I would have achievement competitions and one of those was in regards to who had the most reputations to exalted! I was quite proud of my achievements, and even though I had started quite late in the game compared to others I had a good amount of the things. But there was one reputation that I didn't have that one of my friends did. Ravenholdt. It was rogue only and no longer attainable and it made me sad because I needed to add it to my achievement collection.
Well, not that it matters now since this isn't retail WoW, but I finally met Ravenholdt and got my reputation with them up to Friendly. No point in getting them to Exalted on classic servers, but, I don't know, I was just pleased to have finally met them.
Last week I went on two adventures: one to Booty Bay to learn up to 225 Fishing and one through the harsh higher-level lands of the Desolace to learn up to 225 Cooking.
I've now maxxed both of those and can't go any further with either until I'm level 35 and find the respective trainers in Dustwallow Marsh and Tanaris. So my next goal was to reach level 35! Because I'm playing two characters and also a bit of Dragon Age Inquisition, it'll probably take a while to reach 35, but today I tried to get as far as I could within the span of a day.
I started today at level 28 and went through a bunch of Ashenvale quests. I also found my first blue rarity random drop! A pity it was level 19 when I was level 28 at the time, but it was still an upgrade so I very happily equipped it.
After completing half of Ashenvale, I was level 29 and decided to go down to the Thousand Needles instead. The Thousand Needles is one of my favourite areas in WoW — pre-Cataclysm Thousand Needles, anyway — and it was nice to finish my day of questing there. It's weird because I'm a very forest-and-nature-aesthetic person, but there's just something about the Thousand Needles that I like.
Whilst in the Thousand Needles, I hit level 30.
Level 30 is a great feat! For it means I can run off back to Silvermoon City and learn how to ride a mount.
My rogue no longer walks for miles like a chump! She rides for miles instead.
After getting my mount and mount training done, it was back to the Thousand Needles to continue questing. I have the slightly higher level quests in the north to do, and I'm doing the last of the lower level quests now. Unfortunately, I'm finding that this last quest is taking me all over the place. From Thousand Needles to Stonetalon Mountains, to Ashenvale, to Undercity, and now to some dungeon. Everywhere! xD
I don't really fancy doing dungeons at the moment, so it was back to Hillsbrad where apparently fifty odd more quests have magically appeared and that should get me to the higher level quests of Thousand Needles. Hooray!
All in all though, I managed to level three whole levels today, from 28 to 31. A valiant effort, haha!
(At this rate, I'll hit the end of TBC jusssstttttt as Lich King Classic is released, haha. Foreverrrr.)

And what is the maximum level that someone can reach? And how long will it take?
In Classic TBC, the level 70... and it'll take about two months or so at my current rate, haha.
Wow, how beautiful the scenery looks 😍 it's a beautiful world. I've never seen screenshots of that game before, I've only seen the non-open world one because my boyfriend plays it with his friends.
I just started playing Wow TBC last week actually! Im running a Blood Elf Paladin on Faerlina named Mansonfamily aswell as a undead mage on faerlina named Btkstrangler . Pretty crazy how i could pick serial killer names, and it didn't reject them haha. If you want to add me and play whenever, let me know! I have been enjoying the dungeons alot actually, as I love tanking them. Thanks for the cool post, keep it up :).
Haha! Nice names. XD XD
I don't think there's cross-realm compatibility in WoW Classic, unfortunately. I'm on an Oceanic realm called Yojamba. I'm happy to be added on battle.net though! We'll be diving back into retail WoW at some point no doubt and that's cross-realm at least. 😃

Hey, where can i play WoW classic? This is a private server type gig right? Could you walk me through it?
Thanks!
WoW Classic is available on Battle.net for those who have an active subscription to World of Warcraft. It's just a different download on the application. 🙂
But!! If you don't want to subscribe to it, I can recommend the private server called: Project Ascension. It's absolutely amazing. And VERY populated.
https://ascension.gg/
It's also very easy to get into. You just sign up and download the client and log in. It's also free. 🙂
Yay!!!!
I missed this game, one of the best game ever created.
I honestly didn't think much of it at the time, but playing it now and remembering that it came out in 2004... it really is something!
Congratulations!
