Right now, every Gods Unchained player is awaiting the release of the very first expansion of the game called Trial of the Gods. To shorten your waiting time, here are some facts about the new raffle and some tips on how to play with the undistributed but already implemented new cards.
New Mythic, New Raffle
Experienced players might remember the previous raffle. You could earn raffle tickets by winning matches against other players. These tickets could be sold or kept to enter the prize drawing. The main prize was a one of a kind Mythic card. This time, raffle tickets are distributed to everyone who buys season 1 packs. Previously, Mythic cards got traded for more than 300 Eth, so raffle tickets might be in great demand again. The new Mythic is called Citadel of the Gods and you can check it out here.
How to play with new cards already
If you are anything like me, you want to play with the new card set as soon as possible, because it adds exciting new mechanics to the game. However, season 1 has not been released yet (nor is there an official release date). However, you might have noticed that some people still manage to play these cards.
The easiest way to play new cards might be to borrow them during a match from the sanctum. To lend these cards, you first need to earn Favor by attacking your opponent or killing one of their creatures. You can then spend Favor in the Sanctum for one of the new cards, like this Dionysian Bull!
Another way to play with new cards is the Delve mechanic. It allows you to choose a card out of three random ones that is put into your hand. The most prominent card with the Delve mechanic is Jason, Medea's Muse, which lets you delve 3 legendary cards. This way, you at least have a chance to get a new card.
Finally, a very good way to obtain a season 1 card during a match are god powers, namely Forage (Nature) and Flip (Deception). Forage adds a random Nature card to your hand and is therefor well suited to explore all the new Nature cards. Flip adds a random card from your opponents God to your hand. This way, you can explore a different set of cards every match.
Even though it takes some patience and might reduce your chances of winning, it is totally possible to play with the Trial of the Gods cards already. If you are interested in a preview of all the new cards, you should check out this list.
