I waited for Immortality from the moment the first trailer appeared.
Yesterday the "game" had its premiere and we have to admit that the creators tried to create something so strange that we will remember it for a long time.
Imnortality is not a typical game. It is an interactive movie in which we have to solve a mystery.
There isn't much integration here, we can speed a given piece of footage forward or backward and stop it at a point we find interesting.
While the scenes look normal if we don't go backwards, occasionally going backwards we come across some strange scenes.
These scenes are often breaking the fourth wall, where the heroine shows us something and is the only one who moves differently from the other characters.
The main character disappears and the only trace we have is 3 film tapes and some behind-the-scenes footage.
The scenes are chaotic and we have to get used to it because more than once we come across a scene that at first brings nothing, but after some time has an interesting solution.
The 3 different films from three different eras are united by one eternally young main character, who impeccably plays each role.
The characters around her behave infatuatingly on the one hand to direct us to some interesting leads after a while.
A mysterious woman who appears from time to time adds a large dose of surrealism to the whole story, as we can't trust what we see and have to examine a given tape several times .
The whole game lasts about 5-7 hours, and it's up to us how quickly we discover the mystery or if we first have to put the films in order to make them whole.
The longer we examine the material, the more we will learn, killing of one of the main characters, which will result in emotional behavior of our heroine and serious problems with the film.
The main character is young and full of confidence, which unfortunately quickly changes to the detriment, more and more daring roles in the movies and behind them cause that slowly blur her world with the world of her idols.
We, as detectives, are trying to find her somewhere hidden in these tapes and the power to bring her back to the living.
This is a game that is not a game, we only need two clicks like on a VHS video recorder to be able to punch to the wire and back and stop at the right moment for us.
The plot of the beginning is vestigial, however, the longer we play and discover Julita, the closer we get to the afterlife of the film world ( C-grade movies) and the heroine who wants to take over Hollywood at the age of 20.
The actress who plays our main character was very interesting, she changes hairstyles with a chameleon whip and sometimes it will be hard to keep up.
The whole thing looks great if you like this kind of style, which allows you to analyze the given material to the power to discover the mystery.
The game is a bit reminiscent of Last Night in Soho, that strange sultry atmosphere that makes you watch the film to mov understand what will happen at the very end and the protagonist is juggling between dream and java.

My gameplay
The game was supposed to appear on Netflix to power play on iOS /android phone. However, at the moment we can only play on PC or console.
I recommend playing because it is one of the most interesting films where we discover for ourselves what so happened to the main character.

Na Immortality czekałem of momentu kiedy pojawił się pierwszy zwiastun.
Wczoraj „gra” miała premiere i trzeba przyznać, ze twórcy postarali się stworzyć coś tak dziwnego, ze zapamiętamy to na dłużej.
Imnortality nie należy do typowych gier. Jest to interaktywny film w którym musimy rozwikłać zagadkę.
Nie ma tutaj wiele integracji możemy dany materiał przyspieszyć do przodu bądź do tylu i zatrzymać w momencie, który wyda nam się interesujący.
O ile normalnie sceny wyglądają jeśli nie cofamy, tak od czasu do czasu cofając natrafiamy na jakieś dziwne sceny.
Sceny te są często łamiące czwarta ścianę, gdzie bohaterka pokazuje nam coś i jako jedyna porusza sie inaczej niż inni bohaterowie.
Główna bohaterka znika i jedyny slad jaki mamy to 3 taśmy z filmami oraz kilka nagrań zza kulis.
Sceny są chaotyczne i musimy sie do tego przyzwyczaić gdyż nie raz trafimy na scenę, która początkowo nic nie wnosi, jednak po jakimś czasie ma ciekawe rozwiązanie.
3 różne filmy z trzech różnych epok filmów łączy jedno wiecznie młoda główna bohaterka, która nieskazitelnie gra każda z rol.
Bohaterowie wokół zachowują sie z jednej strony infatylnie by po chwili nakierować nas na jakiś interesujący trop.
Pojawiająca sie tajemnicza kobieta co jakiś czas dodaje całej opowieści dużej dawki surrealizmu gdyż nie możemy ufać temu co widzimy i kilka razy musimy badać dana taśmę .
Całość zabawy trwa około 5-7 godzin przy czym to od nas zależy jak szybko odkryjemy zagadkę czy jednak pierw zajmiemy sie uporządkowaniem filmów by miały pełna całość.
Główna bohaterka, jest młoda i pełna ufności co niestety szybko zmienia sie na niekorzyść, coraz odważniejsze role w filmach i po za nimi powoduja, ze powoli zaciera sie jej świat ze światem jej idoli.
My jako detektywi staramy sie znaleźć ja gdzieś ukryta w tych taśmach i moc ja sprowadzić do żywych.
To gra która nie jest gra, potrzebujemy tylko dwóch kliknięć niczym na magnetowidzie VHS by moc przebijać do przewodu i do tylu i zatrzymać w odpowiednim dla nas momencie.
Im dłużej będziemy sprawdzać materiał tym więcej się dowiemy, jak np przypadkowe zabicie jednego z głównych bohaterow, co spowoduje zachowanie emocjonalne naszej bohaterki oraz poważne problemy przy filmie.
Fabuła początków jest szczątkowa, jednak im dłużej gramy i odkrywamy Julity tym bliżej nam do pozmienia świata filmowego ( filmów klasy C) oraz bohaterki, która w wieku 20 lat chce zawładnąć Hollywood.
Bardzo ciekawie wypadła aktorka która wciela sie w nasza główna bohaterkę, biczym kameleon zmienia fryzury i niekiedy ciężko będzie nadążyć z tym.
Całość prezentuje się świetnie jeśli lubi się taki styl, który pozwala na analizowanie danego materiału by moc odkryć zagadkę.
Gra przypomina trochę Ostaniej nocy w Soho, ten dziwny duszny klimat, który powoduje, ze oglądamy ten film by mov zrozumieć co się wydarzy na samym końcu a bohaterka lawiruje między snem a jawa.

Gra miała się pojawić rozbieżność na Netflix by moc grać na telefonie iOS /android. Jednak na ta chwile jedynie na PC zagramy bądź na konsoli
Polecam zagrać gdyż to jeden z ciekawszych filmów gdzie sami odkrywamy co tak się wydarzyło z główna bohaterka.

Zupełnie uciekł mi ten tytuł, z opisu przypomina rozwiniętą wersję Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, koniecznie muszę spróbować.
No styl podobny, tyle ze nie masz realnego wpływu na bohaterow, jedynie obserwujesz i możesz cofać taśmę w niektórych klipach pojawia się tajemnicza kobieta która przywodzi na myśl serial Twin Peaks :)
