I have been playing a lot of games with MoonKarts and I'll tell you, it is one of the best games Hive has offered - I'm not joking. Everything seems very well implemented and I couldn't be more proud what @aggroed and the team has done here.
The gameplay is so smooth, the graphics is very well designed, leaderboards ranking + rewards, the Kart parts, the tokenization, the integration into NFTs, the racing, the queue, daily match earning. I liked them all.
I've raced with quite a lot of drivers and I had a lot of fun! I've had a number of experiences with the game - both good, bad, and not so bad. There are a lot of good things established in the game but I feel like there are a lot of unnecessary things an average user has to think of. Into which I see this one was the main thing stopping the masses to participate. I'd like to elaborate them all.
#1. The License Fee
For you to create an account with MoonKarts and also Genesis League Sports (the soccer game they developed), you need to purchase a license fee worth of 10 Hive. I think this one needs to be abolished. I know the team needs funding but perhaps I think they need to abolish this and probably replace. It could be a portion of the daily pool, leaderboards pool? Whatever as long as they abolish this one. I mean who wants to pay $10 or 10 Hive just to create an account?

#2. The Staking Factor
I personally think the staking factor is too much. Staking factor means you need to stake Colony tokens to increase your reward multiplier into the game. If you don't buy any Colony and stake, I'm pretty sure on the day 1 you'll quit immediately. You won't earn, that's the reality.
There needs to be an overhaul in this system. I do not think daily rewards should be influenced by this. I'm thinking maybe a little, but instead focus on the leaderboard rewards. The staking factor should only influence the leaderboard REWARDS. That's my opinion, other thoughts are welcome.
#3. Required Ranked Points to Start Earning
From my experience, the Ranked points required to achieve max earning per match is 5,000 points. I do not think this is needed as it creates another barrier for users who just wanted to enjoy the game and play a little. The season only lasts 10 days and for you to get 5,000 points, you need to play atleast 250 matches (this is assuming you'll get top 1), but on average, I think 500 matches is required to start earning decently.
I think this one should be abolished or atleast changed. A minimum of 1,000 points is enough or anything they come up in mind. Not to mention you need enough staking factor + good Kart parts to earn decently. I think these types of information is too much for users.
#4. Gameplay Lags
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/korver/23w2eYB93HCxpnxFXzsdJKKghnNF3aRNLxVmmxsAyi4XgzEoKcXeaozUDiT6DEqMUPsFH.png)
I have been playing the game and there are times the game is quite laggy. Whenever I'm close to getting the runes, the screen suddenly freezes making me lose control in getting the runes to mention that there are only a number of players playing the game currently. So I think they need to increase the number of servers or anything to ensure we have smooth gameplay and avoid bugs.
If we want the masses to participate, gameplay is very important. There is a need of a QA tester that is active. A community moderator that is active and social media campaigns.
Overall, my experience of the game is great. Though currently I am not earning much, what matters to me know is that I am earning Colony and hold. Imagine 500+ players are playing the game, I think it will be a fun experience once that happens. I wonder why Splinterlands players didn't check this game?
Moon karts tiene mucho potencial para hive. Esperemos que se de a conocer más.
