Usually, when talking about any soccer game is usually mentioned PES or FIFA. They are the most popular and well known in the world. But in particular, I prefer Fifa Street and I think this game is underrated.
Por lo general, cuando se habla de algún juego de fútbol se suele mencionar el PES o el FIFA. Que son los más populares y conocidos en el mundo. Pero en lo particular, prefiero al Fifa Street y creo que este juego está infravalorado.

What happened to me with traditional soccer games is that they always gave me the impression that they were too competitive. Maybe I am exaggerating, but I am repulsed by those who take a game too seriously. Honestly, I am embarrassed by those who get angry or frustrated for losing a game against your friend. A different thing would be if you are playing in a competitive mode, then I would understand it more.
Lo que me pasaba con los juegos tradicionales de fútbol, es que siempre me dieron la impresión de que eran demasiado competitivos. Tal vez esté exagerando, pero a mí me genera rechazo aquellos que se toman demasiado en serio un juego. Honestamente, me genera vergüenza ajena aquellos que se enojan o se frustran por haber perdido un partido contra tu amigo. Cosa diferente sería si estás jugando en algún modo competitivo, ahí lo entendería más.
I like Fifa Street more than PES or conventional FIFA because I don't like such tactical games. I like the style of Fifa Street much more, a game about urban and casual soccer. Where there are no fouls or advanced positions. And where more emphasis is given to dribbling, tricks and flashy passes.
Me gusta más el Fifa Street que el PES o el FIFA convencional porque no me agradan los juegos tan tácticos. Me gusta mucho más el estilo de Fifa Street, un juego sobre fútbol urbano e informal. Donde no existen las faltas o las posiciones adelantadas. Y donde se le da más énfasis a los regates, trucos y pases vistosos.
What I love about Fifa Street is that it's a game where it's no longer so important to score more goals than your opponent. Obviously, it's still the most relevant thing, it's what defines whether you win or lose. But it also becomes more relevant how you score a goal. For example, if you lost 2-1, but your only goal was one in which you dribbled, dribbled and volleyed, it doesn't feel like a defeat. It's like the beautiful game becomes a more significant factor.
Lo que me encanta del Fifa Street es que un juego donde deja de ser tan importante hacer más goles que el rival. Obviamente, sigue siendo lo más relevante, es lo que defines si ganas o pierdes. Pero también pasa a ser más relevante la manera en que haces un gol. Por ejemplo, si perdiste 2-1, pero tu único gol fue uno donde hiciste varios regates, caños y encima defines de volea, no se siente como una derrota. This Fifa Street is much improved over its predecessors. They took everything good from the previous titles and improved it. More stadiums, more game modes, more tricks, more selectable teams, etc. Really, it's a very complete game. I remember that at that time I liked to play a lot with Napoli because it is my grandfather's team and there was a player that I like a lot, Cavani. Who later, went to play for Boca Juniors. Team of which I am a fan 😅.
Este Fifa Street mejoró mucho frente a sus predecesoras. Agarraron todo lo bueno de los anteriores títulos y lo mejoraron. Más estadios, más modo de juegos, más trucos, más equipos seleccionables, etc. Realmente, es un juego muy completo. Recuerdo que en aquella época me gustaba jugar mucho con Napoli porque es el equipo de mi abuelo y estaba un jugador que me gusta mucho, Cavani. Que posteriormente, se fue a jugar a Boca Juniors. Equipo del que soy fanático 😅
Unfortunately, the Fifa Street saga was abandoned more than a decade ago. The last installment we had was in 2012 for the PlayStation 3. Leaving us with only 4 games of this franchise. From what I was finding out, it was abandoned due to the fact that they couldn't exploit it financially like they do with mainstream Fifa. Not because it wasn't loved by the fans. Basically, it was a successful game, but not too successful for the company. They couldn't squeeze it economically as they do now with the conventional Fifa, which almost charges you to turn on the console.
Por desgracia, la saga de Fifa Street fue abandonada hace más de una década. La última entrega que tuvimos fue en 2012 para la PlayStation 3. Dejándonos solo con 4 juegos de esta franquicia. Por lo que estuve averiguando, se abandonó por el hecho de que no podían explotarlo económicamente como hacen con el Fifa convencional. No por no ser querido por los aficionados. Básicamente, era un juego exitoso, pero no demasiado para la compañía. I would see to it that in the future they take up this saga in some way. It would be interesting to see the current players in a 5 vs 5 street soccer mode. But probably, it's not going to happen and if it does, it will be a pay to win game. Which I don't like at all. All in all, we will probably never have a new Fifa Street game.
Me encargaría que en un futuro retomen esta saga de alguna manera. Sería interesante ver a los jugadores actuales en una modalidad de fútbol callejero 5 vs 5. Pero probablemente, no vaya a pasar y si pasa, será un juego pay to win. Cosa que no me agrada para nada. En definitiva, probablemente nunca tengamos un nuevo juego de Fifa Street.

I was totally unaware of this PS3 release, although I have played the Fifa Street franchise. The thing is that I stayed on the first two installments for PS2 and PSP respectively, due to hardware limitations xD . But I'm glad to know that there was a PS3 installment that also looks graphically far superior.

FIFA Street was really a legendary series! 😍 As someone who is bored with the competitive atmosphere of classic football games, I miss the free spirit and ‘flashy’ moments in this game. How you scored was as important as scoring a goal... Hopefully someday this title will be relevant again, but I highly doubt it. Sadly, the company wouldn't be interested in a game that you can't get that much money out of. I understand that in 2022 they had brought out a section within the conventional Fifa, but it's not enough. I hope they surprise us in the next few years n.n

Pensaba la que saga habia muerto en el de la PS2. No sabía que había salido uno en PS3 jaja. Recuerdo el de la PS2 como un juegazo y creo que ha sido el único juego de Fifa que he jugado en mi vida jsjs. Imagino que si este conservó el mismo estilo también lo sería. Una pena que la saga haya sido tan olvidada, yo también veo imposible que la retomen, a lo mucho harían un remake y eso también lo veo dificil 😅

Conozco a los Fifa Street de PS2 y te puedo decir que si te gustaron, el de PS3 te gustaría mas. Básicamente, agarran todo lo de entregas anteriores y lo mejoran.
Yo también lo veo muy difícil que la retomen. Estan muy dedicados al Fifa tradicional.
