I consider myself a lover of Pokémon games, since I was 13/14 years old. I still remember that time when I played with my Game Boy Color and my Pokémon Crystal cartridge.

This time, I want to talk about Pokémon Emerald. The one that for me, was the best game of the franchise.

The first thing I want to mention is the leap in quality compared to the previous generation. I risk to say that the most convincing improvement between generations was between 2 and 3. Better graphics, better animations, new mechanics. It was an impressive change for what we had been seeing.
Lo primero que quiero mencionar es el salto de calidad que hubo con respecto a la generación anterior. Me arriesgo a decir que la mejora más contundente entre generaciones, se dio entre la 2 y la 3. Mejores gráficos, mejores animaciones, nuevas mecánicas. Fue un cambio impresionante para lo que veníamos viendo.
Personally, I really appreciate those games that have an open world. Where they give you the chance to get lost and explore. I love Pokémon Emerald because its world is very wide and full of very creative scenarios. Like for example, a floating city in the middle of the sea, a village built in the trees of a jungle, the inside of a volcano, etc.
En lo personal, aprecio mucho a aquellos juegos que tienen un mundo abierto. Donde te dan la posibilidad de perderte y explorar. Me encanta el Pokémon Esmeralda porque su mundo es muy amplio y está repleto de escenarios muy creativos. Como por ejemplo, una ciudad flotante en medio del mar, un pueblo construido en los árboles de una selva, el interior de un volcán, etc.
Generally, all initial trios have an unwanted one. In the first generation Bulbasaur and in the second generation it was Chikorita. In the third, where this game belongs, all 3 initials are popular. That is why it is said to be one of the best trios in the franchise. Mudkip, Treecko and Torchic are excellent initial pokemons.

Lo mejor de su post game y del juego en general, es su frente batalla. Una de las quejas más comunes en Pokémon, es su facilidad. Ya que no representan casi nunca un reto real. En el Pokémon esmeralda, luego de superar el alto mando, tenemos un desafío REAL. El frente batalla es un lugar donde tenemos distintos torneos con diferentes reglas, pero lo que tienen en común es que todos son muy difíciles. En esta parte, olvídense de solo apretar A para ganar. Para este reto hay que planear una buena estrategia.
In conclusion, Pokémon Emerald enters my top 3 favorite games. And if I'm honest, after almost 20 years since its release, I could play it again.
En conclusión, el Pokémon Esmeralda entra en mi top 3 juegos preferidos. Y si soy honesto, luego de casi 20 años desde su salida, podría volverlo a jugar.
You could even say that this game has become a classic. Since many people still play it today. Even though so much time has passed since its release.
Incluso, se podría decir que este juego se volvió un clásico. Ya que muchos al día de hoy lo siguen jugando. A pesar de haber pasado tanto tiempo desde su salida.

This is one of the best Pokemon games I have played. (I didn't play many however). I wish I had the Gameboy colour.
Right now having a Game Boy Color is a real relic. It's already a 25 year old console.
I from the fifth generation onwards didn't play much 😅.
