As a kid I watched the anime, but honestly I never finished it, it's story is actually very confusing.
But with this game it was different, I spent a lot of time in my childhood.
I understand what you mean. Maybe when you try it you don't like it and you just go out and delete it hahaha, I'm not sure but I think there are remastered MODS of this game, you could look into it ;)
