Approximately two weeks ago, the Bitcoin Halving took place. And to commemorate this event, the Splinterlands team released two promotional cards, which have an ability with a similar name and effect to this very important event of the cryptocurrency pioneer.
However, I only want to talk about one of them, which I believe is the best and should be used a lot in battle. I'm talking about the Baron Fyatt, a Legendary card of the Fire and Death elements, which chooses its targets at random and reduces each one's attack by half, making it an extremely powerful defensive support.

I decided to rent Baron, which is still at a relatively high price because it's a new card, but I was curious to see if it would meet my expectations.
The first test was in a battle with the Equalizer rule and a mana limit of 99, which was the ideal time to use it.
As expected, my opponent brought cards with a lot of attack, and right before the battle started, Baron already showed its power by reducing the damage of the opponent's gladiator by 2 points.
Then it was Range that suffered, having its attack reduced from 3 to just 1.
In the second round, he had already reduced the opposing team's damage by 8 points by attacking the Elemental Phoenix, which has Blast and deals extra damage to monsters adjacent to its target. As a result, my cards were able to survive much longer.
And that wasn't all. Because of the Blind, it even helped one of my monsters dodge the Meeles' attacks.

The only negative point, in my opinion, is that he is of the Fire and Death elements. Its use is limited because the battle rules prevent it from being chosen more often, which would be totally different if it were Neutral. Even so, it's worth having it in your deck so that it can defend your team against the most powerful cards in the game.
The fact that it has the ability Scattershot can also mean that it doesn't hit the desired targets. On the other hand, it is because of this that he is so effective, since there is no way of changing the direction of his attacks to a specific card. What I consider to be the ideal thing to do is to create a good defensive strategy, with the aim of beating your opponent due to fatigue after 20 rounds of combat.
You do this by combining it with the right summoners. By choosing Lily Shieldpaw, for example, you put a good tanker at the front, with supports at the back who regenerate its life and the monsters in the back line. You can also do this by using a monster with Taunt in front and using the Byzantine Kitty. The idea is the same, and the Baron will come to prevent them from being eliminated by a team with an extremely high attack.

It's also possible to choose dual element summoners, allowing you to play with Water as well as Earth. It's possible to do the same strategy as above, but you'll need to be more selective about the monsters you field.

Porém, quero falar sobre uma delas apenas, que acredito ser a melhor e que deverá ser muito usada em batalha. Estou falando do Baron Fyatt, uma carta Lendária dos elementos Fogo e Morte, que escolhe seus alvos aleatoriamente e reduz o ataque de cada um pela metade, o tornando um suporte defensivo extremamente poderoso.

Eu decidi alugar o Baron, que está por um preço relativamente alto ainda por conta de ser uma carta nova, mas estava curioso para ver se ele atenderia minhas expectativas.
O primeiro teste, foi em uma batalha com a regra Equalizer e com limite de mana de 99, sendo o momento ideal para usá-la.
Como esperado, meu oponente trouxe cartas com grande quantidade de ataque, e logo antes de iniciar a batalha, o Baron já mostrou seu poder ao reduzir o dano da gladiadora do adversário em 2 pontos.
Depois foi o Range que sofreu, ao ter seu ataque reduzido de 3, para 1 apenas.
Na segunda rodada, ele já havia reduzido 8 pontos de dano da equipe adversária ao atacar a Elemental Phoenix, que possui Blast e causa dano extra aos monstros adjacentes ao seu alvo. Com isso, minhas cartas conseguiram sobreviver por muito mais tempo.
E isso não foi tudo. Por conta do Blind, ele ainda ajudou um de meus monstros a se esquivar dos ataques dos Meeles.

O único ponto negativo ao meu ver, é ele ser dos elementos Fogo e Morte. Seu uso fica limitado por conta das regras de batalha o impedirem de ser escolhido mais vezes, o que seria totalmente diferente se ele fosse Neutro. Mesmo assim, vale a pena o ter em seu deck para que ele possa defender sua equipe das cartas mais poderosas do jogo.
O fato dele possuir a habilidade Scattershot, também pode acabar fazendo com que ele não acerte os alvos desejados. Em contrapartida, é por causa disso que ele se torna tão efetivo, já que não existe forma alguma de mudar a direção de seus ataques para uma carta em específico. O que eu considero o ideal a se fazer, é criar uma boa estratégia defensiva, com o objetivo de ganhar do adversário por conta da fadiga após 20 rodadas de combate.
Você faz isso ao combiná-lo com os invocadores certos. Ao escolher a Lily Shieldpaw, por exemplo, você coloca um bom tanker na frente, com suportes atrás que regenerem sua vida e a dos monstros que estiverem na linha de trás. Também é possível fazer isso ao usar um monstro com Taunt na frente e usar a Byzantine Kitty. A ideia é a mesma, e o Baron virá para impedir que eles sejam eliminados por um time com um ataque extremamente alto.

Também é possível escolher invocadores dual element, o possibilitando de jogar com Água e também com Terra. É possível de fazer a mesma estratégia citada anteriormente, mas você precisará ser mais seletivo em relação aos monstros que irá colocar em campo.
