Hello Everyone! To start playing Arcade Colony Moonkarts, a player need NFTs. You can either get them by buying Alpha Centauri packs or buying individual cards from the in game market. Each Alpha Centauri pack costs 5,000 Credits or 5 Script.

The In Game Market

The in game market has a lot of NFTs for sale. For a small amount of script you can buy a driver, kart and some accessories to start the game.

Let's browse the market and look at some cool NFTs.

Legendary Cards

Legendary cards are the best in the game and I wanted to check the market for available cards.

Driver

This driver card is the most expensive in the game. It's a gold foil legendary that cost a whopping $749!

From the Whitepaper description:

Blaze is a fiery and daring racer known for their lightning-fast speed. His sleek and aerodynamic design, with a bright orange color scheme and flaming decals, perfectly captures their fierce and competitive nature.

Blaze's stats are geared towards speed. His base stats are Speed: 3%, Handling: 2%, Health 2% and Acceleration -1%. I would guess legendary and gold foil cards would have more stats but unfortunately we can't see card details from the in game market.

Moon Kart

This cool looking legendary Moon Kart cost $150.

The Arachno Eclipse is a specialty kart or better than the basic Astro Kart.

From the Whitepaper description:

The Arachno Eclipse, is a masterclass in control and endurance, offering a health of 95%, handling at 90%, and a swift acceleration of 90%. Its top speed is 85%, ideal for those who value precision and stability over sheer velocity. Perfect for navigating complex tracks and treacherous opponents, it stands out in its ability to handle tight corners and long races with ease.

It seems this kart is a great fit for Blaze who is focused on speed. Other NFTs are accessories to make your kart faster, have better controls and have more durability.

Engine Upgrade - Provides the kart with more speed. A legendary engine upgrade boosts the kart's top speed by 25% but decreases handling by 5%.

Turbo Charger - Legendary turbo charger boosts the kart's acceleration by 25% but decreases handling 5%.

Tire Grip - Legendary tire grip improves the kart's handling by 25% but reduces top speed by 5%.

Armor Plating - Legendary armor plating increases health and durability by 25% but decreases acceleration by 5%.

The above are some of the NFTs. There are some more like Antennas, Wheels and Exhaust Pipes as well as power ups like Lunar Glide, Celestial Thrust and Moonfire Missile. You can equip these before that start of the race.

Buying NFTs

I wanted to buy some NFTs and transferred script currency in game from hive-engine but the transfer did not go through. Hive Engine is still experiencing delays due to the recent Ddos attack. I'll wait for the transfer and write about my test race next time.
