We are still in the eerie location of Ruins of Atrasia. Last time we talked about some interesting information about the past of Dark Lord Levant which apparently is the previous king of the Atrasia. The reason for the kingdom's ruin is still vague but we did find some clues especially from the flashback in which we discovered the involvement of the organization Dark Circle. From our conversations with Luxerion we also knew that the present forces of the Dark Lord and the organization are not collaborating with each other. They both want something and if my guess is correct it's very related to the Sword of Discord. All will unfold in their due but for now we need to first finish the quest in this map to unravel more clues and solve the mystery behind their actions.
Girl in Danger
After that flashback we went to see Luxerion in his baby dragon form. Cluu our trustworthy sidekick question him why we saw the flashback in little Arkin's point of view. As it turned out, the pocket watch belonged to Arkin so we saw thing form his POV. Cluu questioned where is the boy right now as he might be the key in solving the mystery and the impeding danger. But it was a pity because Luxerion said that he died shortly after we've seen him in that flashback. I think this is also one of the reasons why Dark lord Levant is full of hatred and has hostile relationship with the Dark Circle. We were silent for a while thinking about the tragedy that happened to the kid.
The pocket watch move and pointed somewhere. This time to a nearby forest. On the way we've seen a girl who seemed to be troubled. She was dressed in plain dark green clothes and was shaking in an open field. Her name is Fiona and she's asking for help. The monsters surrounding her was the same ones inhabiting the map. After defeating the corrupted fire monsters we asked her if she's alright and what was wrong. Although we managed to save her some of her friends was captured by the roaming monsters. She said that we might too late and we had to hurry to save them. Well, is it just me or she's just quite ungrateful for not even saying a simple thanks.
Duped
I knew something was wrong. Instead to bringing us to a monster lair she lured us to a bandit hideout. Turned out that the weak little girl was only a bait for good hearted civilians like us. I really hate this kind of people. The gall she had a nerve to call us stupid. We should just let the corrupted monsters devour her.
The bandits who called themselves "The Wolf Pack" were not that strong they were even weaker than common field mobs and those monsters in the Chaos Region. Based on their conversation it seemed that Fiona sold us because the bandit group held something belonging to her. After defeating the vagabonds we try to make a conversation but she was still hardy as ever. I wish the game has an option to kill NPC's as he was really irritating. After the fight and that short conversation we completed the quest Girl in Danger and was awarded with 1,000,000 experience points, 30,000 gold and 3 6-star spade varnish. Not bad for a relatively short quest.
