Hello my dear friends gamers, today as always I come to give you a dose of nostalgia, I thank you very much for having accompanied me in previous adventures of Harry Potter, but this time I bring for you the third installment of the saga, The Prisoner of Azkaban, is a very fun game, full of adventures and missions full of magic. I don't know how it will have been in other versions as I've only played it on PC but what I like most about this version is that we not only play with Harry but with Ron and Hermione, although we can't choose them at will, but the game chooses them for you depending on the occasion, even so it's very fun.
Hola mis queridos amigos gamers, el día de hoy como siempre vengo a darles una dósis de nostalgia, les agradezco mucho por haberme acompañado en anteriores aventuras de Harry Potter, pero en esta ocasión traigo para ustedes la tercera entrega de la saga, El Prisionero de Azkaban, es un juego muy divertido, lleno de aventuras y misiones cargadas de magia. No sé como habrá sido en otras versiones ya que solo lo he jugado en PC pero lo que más me gusta de esta versión es que no solo jugamos con Harry sino con Ron y Hermione, aunque no podemos escogerlos a voluntad, sino que el juego los escoge por ti según la ocasión, aún así es divertidísimo.
This is an Action/Adventure video game, released in 2004 for PC, Game Boy Advance, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube, although the version you will see in this gameplay will be the PC version, whose developer was KnowWonder, but was distributed by Electronic Arts.
Éste es un videojuego catalogado como Acción/Aventura, lanzado en el año 2004 para PC, Game Boy Advance, Xbox, PlayStation 2 y Nintendo GameCube, aunque la versión que verán en este gameplay será la de PC, cuya empresa desarrolladora fue KnowWonder, pero fue distribuido por Electronic Arts.
We start the adventure aboard the Hogwarts Express (something I love) although the animation is still a little shaky, it has improved a lot compared to the previous versions, and that's logical. The characters are much more similar to the actors in the films and we can appreciate them better, the only criticism I would have to make is Hermione's blonde hair, which should be brown, but everything else is great, even the compartments and corridors of the train are the same as described by J.K Rowling in the book and what we see in the films.
Comenzamos la aventura a bordo del expreso de Hogwarts (algo que me encanta) si bien la animación todavía es un poco precaria, mejoró muchísimo con respecto a las versiones anteriores, y es lógico. Los personajes tienen mucho más parecido con los actores de las películas y podemos apreciarlos mejor, la única crítica que tendría que hacer es el cabello rubio de Hermione, que debería ser castaño, pero todo lo demás está genial, incluso los compartmientos y pasillos del tren son iguales a los que describe J.K Rowling en el libro y lo que vemos en las películas.
Ron's rat Scabbers escaped, so the golden trio's first mission is to find it, so they go into each compartment of the train to search it but in one of them they find the nasty Crabbe and Goyle who tell them that Malfoy has a little surprise for them (what is he up to?) One of the things I like most about the game is that almost all the time, the three main characters are together.
La rata de Ron, Scabbers se escapó, así que la primera primera misión del trío de oro es buscarla, de modo que entraron en cada compartimento del tren para revisarlo pero en uno de ellos encontraron a los desagradables Crabbe y Goyle quienes les dijeron Malfoy les tiene preparada una sorprecita (¿Qué estará tramando?) Una de las cosas que más me gusta del juego es que casi todo el tiempo, los tres personajes principales están juntos.
At the end of the corridor was a locked door, so Harry used the "Alohomora" spell to open it.
Al final del pasillo había una puerta cerrada, así que Harry usó el hechizo "Alohomora" para abrirla.
On the other side of the door they saw Scabbers on top of some boxes but he was still running away.

The boxes fell to the ground and blocked the way, but now the game offers us to be Hermione, who is the best with repulsive spells like "Depulse".

Now the three arrived at a place where there was a closet but it had three locks, which meant that one spell might not be enough to open it, so Harry, Ron and Hermione cast the spell "Alohomora" at the same time.
Ahora los tres llegaron a un lugar donde había un armario pero tiene tres cerraduras, lo que significa que tal vez un solo hechizo no será suficiente para abrirlo, por esa razón Harry, Ron y Hermione lanzaron a la vez el hechizo "Alohomora"

They were then confronted by a flock of bewitched books that tried to attack them, but they fought back using the spell "Rictusempra".
Luego tuvieron que enfrentarse con una bandada de libros embrujados que intentaban atacarlos, pero ellos se defendieron usando el hechizo "Rictusempra"
Soon they reached a part of the train where Malfoy was waiting for them with his "little surprise", it was the Monstrous Book of Monsters, but unfortunately I couldn't find the screenshots I took of that moment, but at the end of the fight we got the first collectible card of the 80 that we have to find and that will be all over the castle.
Pronto llegaron a una parte del tren donde Malfoy los estaba esperando con su "sorprecita" se trata del Monstruoso Libro de los Monstruos, pero lamentablemente no pude encontrar las capturas de pantalla que hice de ese momento, pero al final del combate obtuvimos el primer cromo coleccionable de los 80 que tenemos que encontrar y que estarán por todo el castillo.
Suddenly, the door at the back of that compartment opened and a Dementor tried to enter, then Harry Potter fainted, Hermione closed the door and ran out to get help, so Ron took control of the situation. The Dementor was trying to open the door to get in, so Ron had to try to block it. To do so, he just had to point at the mark next to the door and that would activate the lock.
De pronto, la puerta del fondo de ese compartimiento se abrió y un dementor intentó ingresar, entonces Harry Potter se desmayó, Hermione cerró la puerta y salió corriendo para buscar ayuda, por esa razón Ron tomó el control de la situación. El dementor intentaba abrir la puerta para entrar, de modo que Ron tenía que intentar bloquearla. Para lograrlo solo tiene que apuntar a la marca que está junto a la puerta y con eso se activará el cerrojo.
The Dementor is very strong, so the obstacles don't last long and the mark is constantly changing position. And the longer it takes to block the door, the further the Dementor's fog will advance towards Harry.
El dementor es muy fuerte, así que los obstáculos no duran mucho y la marca va cambiando de posición constantemente. Y mientras más tardemos en bloquear la puerta, más avanzará la niebla del dementor hacia Harry.
Fortunately Hermione was able to get help from Professor Remus Lupin who teaches Defence Against the Dark Arts at the school, he chased away the Dementor and helped Harry recover.
Afortunadamente Hermione pudo conseguir la ayuda del profesor Remus Lupin quien impartirá Defensa Contra las Artes Oscuras en el colegio, él ahuyentó al dementor y ayudó a Harry a recuperarse.
They have arrived at Hogwarts and are all preparing for Defence Against the Dark Arts class. Lupin will be teaching them the spell "Carpe Retractum" which will help them to attract objects or get close to them. To explain the spell he chose Ron, who will have to go through several special rooms in which he will have to find the 10 Hogwarts shields.
Ya llegaron a Hogwarts y todos se preparan para la clase de Defensa Contra las Artes Oscuras. Lupin les enseñará el hechizo "Carpe Retractum" que los ayudará a atraer objetos o acercarse a ellos. Para explicar el hechizo escogió a Ron, que tendrá que hacer un recorrido por varias salas especiales en las cuales tendrá que encontrar los 10 escudos de Hogwarts.

I really like these scenes, it's a lot of fun all the way through.

But one of the things I like the most is the other spell we learn, I don't know what it's called in the English version, but in the Spanish version it's called "esponjificación". This spell must be cast on that symbol on the floor, and in this case it will help Ron to jump very very high.
Pero una de las cosas que más me gusta es el otro hechizo que aprendemos, no sé como se llama en su versión en inglés, pero en la versión en español se llama "esponjificación". Este hechizo se debe arrojar sobre ese símbolo en el piso, y en este caso ayudará a Ron a saltar muy muy alto.
A little further on Ron found the first of the 10 hidden shields, if he finds them all, he can visit the bonus room which is full of sweets, chocolate cakes in the shape of cauldrons and pumpkin pies.
Un poco más adelante Ron encontró el primero de los 10 escudos escondidos, si los encuentra todos, podrá visitar la sala bonus que está repleta de caramelos, pasteles de chocolate en forma de calderos y empanadas de calabaza.
Oh Oh! Ron has encountered some dangerous creatures called Imp, Lupin warned him that they are immune to spells, so none of them will work, so what should Ron do? First of all keep calm, the Imps pull out of their mouths some sort of magical firecrackers that they throw at their opponents and they explode, so what Ron should do is grab one of those firecrackers before they explode and throw them back at the Imps.

When Ron was finally able to beat them, he was rewarded with pumpkin pies, these are much more valuable than Bertie Botts, do you want to know why I say they are more valuable? Well because in this game we don't trade the goodies with Fred and George like in the previous games, well yes we do but not in the same way, now the Weasley twins have their own shop inside the school and their payment system is these kind of goodies.
Cuando Ron finalmente pudo vencerlos, fue recompensado con empanadas de calabaza, éstas son mucho más valiosas que las pepas Bertie Botts, ¿quieren saber porqué digo que son más valiosas? Pues porque en este juego no intercambiaremos las golosinas con Fred y George como en los juegos anteriores, bueno, sí lo haremos pero no de la misma manera, ahora los gemelos Weasley tienen su propia tienda de artículos dentro del colegio y su sistema de pago son este tipo de golosinas.
He then had to face a group of poisonous Doxys using the spell "Rictusempra" with the intention of paralysing them, and in the end he obtained chocolate cauldron-shaped cakes, which are more valuable than pumpkin pies.
Luego tuvo que enfrentarse a un grupo de Doxys venenosas usando el hechizo "Rictusempra" con la intención de paralizarlas, y al final obtuvo pasteles de chocolate en forma de caldero, que son más valiosos que las empanadas de calabaza.
Here we can see that Ron found one of the two secret places in this area, the secret places have chests with some candy in them and from time to time they also have collectible stickers, the stickers in this area are all vampire stickers.
Aquí podemos ver que Ron encontró uno de los dos lugares secretos de esta zona, los lugares secretos tienen cofres con algunos caramelos y de vez en cuando también tienen cromos coleccionables, los cromos de esta zona son de vampiros en su totalidad.
If you hit the armour with the spell "Depulse" you will get Betie Botts of all flavours. Oh, and there's another shield.
Si golpeas las armaduras con el hechizo "Depulso" obtendras Pepas Betie Botts de todos los sabores. ¡Ah! y ahí hay otro escudo.
Now it's time for Ron to figth with a fire crab, which spew fire from their.... well from their "back" (in Lupin's words) Ron has to paralyse them with the spell "Rictusempra" and then push them until they fall into those cliffs.
Ahora llegó la hora de que Ron se enfrente a un cangrejo de fuego, que arrojan fuego desde su... bueno desde la "espalda" (según las palabras de Lupin) Ron tiene que paralizarlos con el hechizo "Rictusempra" y luego empujarlos hasta que caígan en esos precipicios.
Ron reached the end of the tour and found the giant shield with which, according to me, he completed the ten shields, but according to Professor Lupin he is still missing one, so he can't go to the reward room, however the good news is that at any time, whenever Ron wishes, he can do the walkthrough again to earn the chance to visit the reward room.
Ron llegó al final del recorrido y encontró el escudo gigante con el que, según yo, completaba los diez escudos, pero según el profesor Lupin todavía le falta uno, así que no puede pasar a la sala de recompensas, sin embargo la buena noticia es que en cualquier momento, cuando Ron lo desee, puede volver a hacer el recorrido para ganar la oportunidad de visitar la sala de recompensas.

Tengo pocos recuerdos de este juego pero lo jugué en Play 2, para esa época era un boom porque ya se tenía el precedente del de la piedra filosofal de Play 1 que si lo pasé completo, ese juego es una maravilla porque combina la aventura con algunas batallas y eso le daba mucha versatilidad, te agradezco mucho que nos hayas traído a la mente este juego.
Ya que también estoy haciendo Gameplays de juegos antiguos quizá me anime con alguno de Harry Potter. ¡Saludos!

De verdad lo es, a mí me encanta.
El juego ya tiene su epoca, me lo pasé a la franquicia en menos de un día xd, Y sí que respetaba la cronología de las películas.

Sí, ese todavía no lo juego pero se ve que es genial y también está por salir uno mejor todavía que se llama Harry Potter legacy
