The Western Shores Board Game Project — Illustrations Paid For So Far

Greetings, fellow sentient beings!

Some time has passed since my last update on the Western Shores board game project that I initiated but today I can share some news related to our funding progress.

Well, It was planned to go slow and steady since we're also still working on the product itself and changes are happening on a regular basis, so no major promises made yet and no broad public engaged. Who knows, maybe the times to come shall be better for us spending energy in that direction...

But!

My talented partner @silver.art has completed about half of the illustrations needed and as I promised, the project shall also cover them before spending on work not yet done. And I bear the personal responsibility or that eventually. Still, the blockchain activities and investments of ours already help a bit.

Here's a new way to track what's paid for:

Some of the images on the bottom were painted by me and will probably be present in the finished product. The names of those begin with Own_and_Owned_ while those made by @silver.art and already paid for begin with just Owned_.

No small part in that had the investment of the first resources gathered by @thewesternshores, an account created by me. I purchased some dCity NFTs for it, maximizing its Technology Discovery Chance up to the current cap of 25 % and unlocking the chance for most of the important techs.

One Tier 5 tech discovered recently was enough to pay for the initial work on the Viking Longship watercolor illustration. It was sold for about 500 or 600 Hive at the time. It might look a bit cheap for an artwork but it's just the payment for the creation of it. And it's not all that the artist will receive for her work. And she has the right to sell or give away the physical originals, etc. And huge thanks along with the potential for future gains...
