I played some Path of Exile earlier today, and likely will again when I finish work in a few hours. I only play hardcore, so there are whole Acts I haven't seen (after 4+ years), and won't see until I deserve to.
I was running Hardcore races here for a while, when the Hive prizes were worth chasing. We get a decent bump I'll fire them up again. Good times.

(grin) I haven't even updated my install since last league, but I pick up PoE every now and then (still never tried hardcore, but I have experimented with 'hardcore playable' builds, such as a Unkillable Detonate Dead Necro and I've studied a lot of the mechanics of hardcore delves, such as these
I've never raced, but I've watched speedrunners and learned a lot from their tricks and shortcuts, really cool to actually (virtually) meet one! Do you stream?
No, in fact a lot of people die inside (@linnyplant I'm looking at you, kiddo) when I mention I play on xbox, over our home wi fi connection, which suffers terribly when the microwave is in use.
I've lost a few in Act 6 due to half a second's lag in the wrong tight spot.
omg dude... I agree with @linnyplant ! I tried playing PoE on bad internet once... never again. I may be spoiled, but gimme my ~25ms ping or nothing :P
