Mobile Legends is a MOBA game for your phones which is very dominant in the South East asian countries. It is a game that has seven main ranks, Warrior, Elite, Master, Grandmaster, Epic, Legend and Mythic and after a year of gaming, I finally reached a high rank in Mobile Legends, the Mythic rank.
Here in Philippines, almost all people of all ages plays or had tried to play this game. It's certainly a journey that I got this far and can now be considered one of the good ones, even if not one of the best. Since Mythic has 4 more divisions inside it, it would take more time to be one of the best but for now, getting to Mythic is an absolute pleasure for me.
My next goal is to win 25 stars or games to reach Mythical Honor from just Mythic. Then, Mythical Glory at 50 stars and lastly Mythical Immortal at 100 stars.
To reach the Mythic Rank, I used three heroes... Angela, Belerick and Hanzo.
Angela is a one of Mobile Legend's support hero. She is useful roam hero that thrives in healing the team and her can be anywhere anytime she is needed with her ultimate. This flexibility is what I liked about her.
When Angela uses her ultimate, she would possess another hero on your team giving them a huge barrier and allows you to use your abilities based on that hero's location. Her ultimate makes you a walking healer partnered to another hero. It is a strong ability useful when you're on one side of the map and your enemies decided to lock on to another on the other side of the map.
This way, you can play multiple sides of your map being useful anywhere you are and whatever you do.
I always try to use her as much as possible if some conditions are met:
- You have two hyper carry hero on your team like Hanabi and Zilong (It can be one but two just to be safe)
- Your enemies have a lot of single target abilities like Saber or Eudora.
Belerick is a counter-hero. He is completely opposite of Angela. If Angela likes to protect her team and win with that strategy, Belerick's goal is to mess with the enemy's hyper carry.
Belerick's abilities, although controlling, is focused on damage. He gets bonus health from items and the higher the health he has, the higher the damage he does. His main damage is the passive which summons spikes to the nearest enemy, prioritizing heroes if possible.
These spikes activate per attack so heroes that focuses on attack speed like Zilong or heroes that has skills that activate multiple times like Badang are the best heroes to use Belerick against.
The conditions to use Belerick is clear:
- Enemy team has a lot of attack speed focused heroes like Zilong or Hanabi
- Enemy team has a lot of heroes that does damage over time like Badang or X-borg
The last hero I suggest is my favorite. Hanzo is an assassin that has a unique ability and playstyle. His ultimate allows himself to split his soul and that soul can attack and pass through objects. You use this for the battle. Don't worry though because if the soul dies, Hanzo would not. Hanzo would get stun and slow if the soul dies so it's not too safe as well.
Hanzo, while not being in soul mode, has also his own abilities. He has skills that can devour entire non-hero units making your jungling easier. He also has another skill that does damage over time and can slow enemies.
Hanzo needs soul charge to use his ultimate longer. You can do this by getting near enemies that dies or by using his second skill. You just get soul, use your ultimate to kill an enemy hero, go back to jungle and repeat.
I don't really have any conditions set for Hanzo. I use him when we don't have a jungler (also called core) available. Otherwise, I just use the other two since no one likes to support (also called roam).
Lastly, I always ban Fanny...
This Attack on Titans inspired hero is too overpowered. I read a lot when searching for how to counter her. Fanny's playstyle should be hit and run where she would slowly damage you before doing the final blow. Using her wires, she attaches to obstacles and the environment and swing and fly around slashing anyone on her path just like in Attack on Titans.
The problem is that Fanny doesn't hit and run. She is an assassin and can fully kill you with one rotation of her abilities. She doesn't damage you slowly and kill you in the end. She just kills you and you cannot do anything about it because she is too mobile and if you want to win, ban her. No way around it.
That's about it for now. I'll probably update everyone next once I get to Mythical Honor.
