Stampede is quite deadly especially to those that are high damage monster units as it keeps hitting from one monster to another as long as he finishes it. It's so fatal to any monster that will be on hit especially those who have no shield or anything that could initially covers up the hit. So it could be a matter of timing whether you or your opponent gets the best advantage in this type of Ruleset.
Below will be my Battle Report for this weekly challenge.
RULESET
Name | Description | Image |
---|---|---|
Active | Life | |
Manacap | 33 | |
Stampede | Trample will retrigger infinitely as long as the trampling unit keeps killing other units. Prime use case for Summoner Possibilus the Wise. | |
Rise of the Commons | Only common and rare monster can be used in battle | |
Armored up | All monsters have 2 armor in addition to their normal armor stat |
Only Life Summoner is active in this battle and a mana cap of 33 should be accommodated. I see that the mana cap is quite a good number that I could select the best possible monsters that can do good in this battle ruleset. An additional 3 conditions which can be interesting in this battle, making it more complex and strategy wise.
Since only commons and rare are available in this battle, selecting monsters would be quite easy as it lessens up the monster selection. It help removes the difficulty on mixing up monsters inside the battle field.
It's pretty solid to have an opponent summoner at level 6 which gives him the opportunity to use high level monsters at his disposal. While I have only a level 2 summoner with a speed skill and return fire. I may have the advantage of speed which helps boosts my monsters attack speed and also a return fire skill which can be an excellent counter attack to opponents.
We may see that he has a plan of boosting his range attacks, so let us see what would be his preferred monsters and if most of its monsters are ranged type or it would be a mixed of monsters with different skills.
Summoner | Active Skills in Battle | Image |
---|---|---|
Ilthain | +1 Speed, Return Fire |
Monster | Active Skills in Battle | Image |

Chaos Knight | Shield | |
Time Meddler | Dodge | |
Pelacor Albarest | Double Strike | |
TruthSpeaker | Protect | |
Time Mage | Slow | |
Celestial Harpy | Flying, Opportunity |
In my line up I have set Ilthain as my Summoner to give advantage to attack speed. Just taking my chance to take the opportunity to maximize attacking first as it could lead to eliminating one of enemy monster in the first round. While selecting Chaos Knight as my primary frontline to make sure that it can withstand the damages. As of my Level 3 Chaos Knight it has both Shield and Return Fire active skills to make sure that it can protect ally monsters at the back.
I am sure that it can tanked up all the damages taken as long as it is a melee or range. Last in position is Time Meddler that has Doge skill which can be really effective as it slowly inflict magic damage to opponents ignoring armors. With both magic attack and doge, I can see how powerful this monster in my line up.
Pelacor Arbalest can be deadly too as it can attack twice in a round with its ranged attack. Inflicting a 2 damage range skill, but since its a twice attack, we can just say it turns out to be a 4 damage if successfully manage to hit the enemy monster. TruthSpeaker can be a good add-on as well to boost up armors with its +2 gain armor skill. A solid armor can be a good advantage to enemy hitter, so adding TruthSpeaker can be a game changer.
I have also added Time Mage to slow enemy monster's attack speed, just in case it has monster with high attack speed. This also increase my chances to attack first, with my Summoner's Speed add-on to all my monsters plus slowing down enemy attack speed. In the final lineup is my Celestial Harpy which can be deadly, finishing those low health with its opportunity skill. Putting it on the last position can be a good tactic as we can see it has only 2 life and 2 speed.
Summoner | Active Skills in Battle | Image |
---|---|---|
General Sloan | +1 All Friendly Ranged Attack |
Monster | Active Skills in Battle | Image |
---|---|---|
Arkemis the Bear | Protect, Halving | |
Creeping Ooze | Slow | |
Battering Ram | Opportunity | |
Xenith Archer | ||
Celestial Harpy | Flying, Opportunity, True Strike | |
Corsair Bosun | Reach, Reflection Shield |
On the opponent side, he has a summoner of Level 6 which has the upper hand in this battle. In its front is a Arkemis the Bear which is a Level 7, making it more impossible for me to inflict a damage as it has 11 health and a couple of skills like Protect, Halving and Forcefield.
On its last position we can see Creeping Ooze which slows down all my monsters. fifth position is Battering Ram with high speed and an opportunity skill. It has only 1 attack but its attack speed and opportunity skill makes it more deadly to encounter in battle.
Xenith archer on fourth position with only normal attack while third position is Celestial Harpy. His Harpy is more deadly than mine since it has True Strike which is a sure hit to opponents. And lastly, its Corsair Bosun which has both reach skill and Reflection Shield skill.
At the start of battle my summoner boosts speed and added returned fire to all my monster units while my opponent gives additional ranged attack to its monsters. We also both given speed deduction to our monsters as an active skill on Creeping Ooze and my Time Mage. Additional shields are also active on both our monsters which I think can be more tougher battles ahead as it will clashed up.
At Round 1, my Chaos Knight manage to sustain all the attacks while damaging all attackers with its Return fire ability. Now my Chaos knight is struggling for its survival leaving to 2 heath remaining. But lucking, I manage to defeat the tank in first round which gives me the advantage at the start of Round 2. At round 2, a deadly hit sustained by Chaos Knight, making it an immediate exit to my monster in the battle.
At Round 3, with the elimination of our tanks, it will now be a more faster battle for both sides. My Truth Speaker did not withstand the damage inflicted to both Opportunity skilled monsters of my opponents even though it has evade skill. Now, both of us left harping facing each other, but sadly his Battering Ram gets into the assistance making my harpy slain in the battlefield.
Slowly, at the later rounds, my magic attacks paid off as it slowly eliminates enemy monsters. Since, my opponent has no magic attack monsters, it gives me the advantage even if our Levels are in a big difference.
I manage to win the battle with Time Mage, Time Meddler and Pelacor Arbalest left standing in the battlefield.
MY ANALYSIS
In this battle my magic attack type monsters give me the advantage, even my opponent has larger levels, my magic attack does not protect his monsters. He has no magic protection of shield that could lessen my magic attack, so at round 5 my team manage to win the game.
