The Rebellion card sets are still hot within the Splinterlands universe and we have received several good points that make these card sets more hyped. With such kinds of results and reactions from many people, I would say that those people who missed the presale will surely realize that they missed a big opportunity as these kinds of cards are suit of valuable. Cards and packs are not anymore measured on how much you purchased them but it is more likely to benefit the collector's side which is a big plus to the people behind this great idea since we have noticed that many people abused buying bulk purchases for discounts and then sell them immediately to secondary market for more profit and in the same time airdrops are being rewarded to this person who purchased more but no cards anymore in its possession.
I like the new mechanics that they have introduced since it captures how much that person holds either packs or cards that are in the Rebellion card set, and then it will be determined and counted by the system to how much airdrop will be given to this person. A really nice and juicy reward will be waiting for them in every airdrop schedule, and also we know that most airdrop cards are very useful cards and mostly legendary, which is very nice to have as a collection or for profit taking.
Aside from those incentives that the holder can get, I am sure that the values of those cards will pump little by little for good pricing in the future. It is more like a staking system in which you just put your asset into a corner and have it sleep while you gain something from it. I like this concept and that players will surely grab some cards once they are capable of purchasing since supplies of these cards will surely decrease until it soon are sold out in the future. Anyway, it's up to the player when they will be able to purchase such amazing cards and get benefits from holding or keeping those cards.
During the presale of Rebellion packs, I see that many have gained a lot from it and that those free promotional cards are a big hit as I can see them. I sense that those cards are very limited and that no cards will be printed or created after that. Also, I don't think that those in the promotional card will be put as one of the cards inside Rebellion. That is why I see future value for that card and that leveling it up would be really great as well. It may be costly the way you purchase during the presale time but looking into the possible benefits that you can acquire, I sense that you are more lucky to purchase as those card values are far from those ordinary cards.
What I also like is that Splinterlands is full of surprises which is very unique on their side. They introduced many changes into the game which gives more thrill to the players as well as it can greatly improve how the game should be played. They continuously improve in every release and there are so many updates that are still to be deployed as I can see it. Another one is that all of those decisions are being decided by all of the players through voting and that's what I like about it. Anything could be possible in a game as long as the community members are helping as well to continue to improve the game.
They introduced new abilities like Armored Strike, Corrosive Ward, Flank, and Lookout which can really change the outcome of the game as well as new strategies and tactics will be formed due to this add-on. This is what players like, a more comprehensive and also a more competitive way to battle against other players. It may be hard at first as I can see it but mastering how this new ability works to your monster's advantage, I think it could help boosts your knowledge about how to handle a new form of challenge.
And also with the introduction of the dual element summoner, I think many are curious about this one because it is the very first time to have something like this. I also never knew that it would be really possible for a summoner that has a pure element could do a dual elemental in the future, except those that are dragons which have been capable of doing so. Another boost to Rebellion summoners is that they do have tactics that could change the outcome of the battlefield and that it has two skills which can serve as a buff or debuff which can get you to your advantage in the battle. You might have a better chance to locate the best skill of your summoner depending on the current ruleset being implemented.
They have introduced the first set of characters inside the Rebellion wherein each of these characters do have different functions within the Rebellion card set.
A goblin holding a spiked club is one tremendous figure of a character. It has a sneak and shatter shield which can easily soften opponents in his way. That monster might able to run or hide but once his eyes are on that monster, I would say that his attack speed would able to do a fast striking attack which can be really lethal as I can see it. A proper position with Gobalano Soldier since it has weaker health but I am sure that he could deal massive attacks and punish those likely into hiding.
Internal Firestorm can surely burn monsters into ashes since this monster has a strong magic attack within him. It also intimidates melee monsters with its skills and their attacks are decreased by 1 which is kind of painful for a player to witness such kind of ability. It cannot be easily weakened as it has enough life and armor in it and even a magic-type monster, could withstand a tremendous amount of damage without any problem. It might be costly in mana but we might also think that it could provide the best use that it can offer for the benefit of the team.
The Chaos Animator is mostly looking for monsters to be zombified which will amplify them to be more tough and powerful to face opponents on the battlefield. It is not also afraid of magic attacks as it could decrease attacks with its current skill.
I like how they illustrate Anasth Soothsayer since they present them as a powerful wizard inside the sea. He has several skills that make him more powerful and it focuses on the defensive side. With a proper team-up of this monster, I think you could increase your winning percentage without any problem.
A summoner that has very low cost is what I think of Zeddica, I sense that she can provide the best capacity in terms of low mana cost building. With its image, I see that she can be tricky as well as treacherous as it can manipulate the potential of its enemy. I can say that she will be a loved summoner as she is a dual element and also a very cheap kind of monster which can be very effective in little monster battles.
The last of the first set of teasers is Prophet Rosa which has dual ability. I like boosting range as well as decreasing enemy attacks against him on the battlefield. I can see that if you properly decide which skills you will activate, I am sure that this summoner will able to maximize its capability especially those that are ranged attack type monsters under him but not necessary.
The second set of monsters in Rebellion is quite awesome to watch. We can see Mar Toren Seeker can be both defensive and offensive. The only thing you should do is unlock its full capability on the battlefield, especially since it has more speed and can evade attacks. I can say that putting this monster in the right position of the team could be very beneficial as it can contribute to the best output for the team.
A ninja in a team could be very nice to have as long as it can provide the best support it can give for the team. It focuses on helping its friendly allies by attacking those friendly monsters that are pacifist. I think the Rebellion gives opportunity to those monsters that are focusing on defense only, instead, they combine it to the offensive as well which has a very good impact on the game itself as tactics and strategy will be changed as well.
There is no more explanation needed as to how strong a dragon creature will be inside the battlefield. Almost all of the dragons do have the capability to provide excellence whichever side they will be. In the case of Redwyrm Dragon, it can burst a tremendous heat attack towards another monster so that it would clear its path. It has decent magic damage which is good but what makes it more powerful is its attack speed which is very fast. I am sure that evading with such kind of attack speed would be quite difficult. And lastly, it can provide a stunning effect sometimes to its opponent which then is missing its counterattack.
Another mage is also there to provide the best defense it could give to all monsters. RuneSeer Sevaya is a dragon type that has a variety of skills that make her very dangerous in battle. Sometimes we should not measure how much attack it could give to its opponent but also the functionality that it can provide on the battlefield. There is no mistake that Runeseek Sevaya could provide the needed effort in order to win the battle.
And just recently they have again released characters in the Rebellion and these characters are simply powerful if used effectively. They do have different functions and mostly excel in their own way of fighting for the team. That is the time that players should do some efficient research on how these new cards will able to be integrated into battles.
Ulundin Overseer is one fat hippo that has armor that could withstand some attacks coming from enemies. There is no doubt that its skin is very thick plus its armor has been proven to be worth wearing based on how armor it has. Even at its base level still it has very nice armor which I think can be very effective in the frontline area on the battlefield. It has a good amount of health points which can provide the best tank for the team and even if it is ganged up in battle, it can survive for at least a round.
So I am thinking about this new add-on on how it can effectively be inserted into my team especially putting it as a tank function. But anyway, we have free boosts of attack to this kind of monster. I think making this monster into an offense could be great as well as long as you think of a better strategy on how to use it effectively in battle.
The Pirate of Eight is one great add-on to your lineup as it has both reach and blast. It can provide an excellent attack to the front monster while keeping himself from being damaged. And also its blast damage can be really deadly to most of the monsters that are near its target. It has a decent speed in it can soon be a favorite monster to some of the players because of its low-cost mana but in return good statistics.
This new monster is more like a tyrannosaurus and a crocodile in one monster form. Based on its ability it could give boosts to those monsters that are very defensive towards their enemies which is very good. At the same time, this monster can be really hard to defeat on the battlefield because it has high health points plus healing speed.
We cannot take it lightly as it can be really a pain melee attacker due to its melee damage and attack speed.
Chaos Golem reminds me of a robotic figure in a movie, which really represents the way a robot should be played in a card game. Based on its statistics it has skills that can be lethal towards its opponent and I sense no mercy for this creature once it starts attacking. I love the illustration of this monster and that it is very tempting to include this in my fire team as I sense that it can contribute well for the good of the team.
REACTION
The cards that are being presented in Rebellion didn't disappoint the players and collectors as they were given the best cards for this release. It has great illustrations of its card and Splinterland's creativity in drawing monsters really improved throughout some releases. That is why I am always looking forward to card releases as it can be really tempting to purchase some of those card packs to help secure collections.
