Hello everyone! Today I come with a review of a game that I think hasn't had all the attention it deserves, although I've read good reviews of it, which makes me have a little high expectations, I must say that I was afraid that the game It was a disappointment, but no, it's very cool and what remains in your head after playing it is: SUPER HOT, SUPER HOT, SUPER HOT.

We start immediately at startup, there is no really remarkable menu and this gives some magic to the game, it is as if everything is some kind of simulation, we know it is, but the game tries to make it clear to you from the beginning.

The letters appear everywhere, there are phrases that appear on the screen while we play, the first thing we will read will be "TIME MOVES IF YOU MOVE" and this my friend is the grace of the game, come on, his right hand towards your jaw, what it seeks to get your attention and what brings the gameplay to life.

The whole game is a mindless massacre, we go from here to there, defying physics, moving at an abnormal speed with respect to other bodies and tearing space-time, we will also hit, maim and make holes in everything that is red .

Grab the gun, dodge bullets and take the time to shoot a target, you can make yourself a sandwich while you think about what will be the best strategy to follow, however, one misstep and you can say goodbye.

I haven't said it until now, but the game is an audio-visual marvel, in every way, every part of the game feels special, as you move you can hear the footsteps, you feel time moving, you hear the wind, the bullets, the blows, but when you stop everything is different, the sound stops, you can hardly hear anything, time moving very slow…

In order not to make the game repetitive, since it is based on the same mechanics, we will always see interesting variations, like this level that is a disco, from here we can appreciate the differences between having time stopped and moving, especially at the auditory level.



You can always see amazing things, fans that can slice enemies, some of them deflecting your shots with a sword, feel how you dodge machine gun shots with extreme precision while you hear the bullets pass you, everything looks and feels Too cool.



But not everything will be a hectic game, we will have a somewhat crazy background in the game, as soon as it starts you will see how it ends, you will say: "Man, I play so short" but no my friend, this game does not end so easily, it will just start again, with something new, something better.

Before finishing it we will always have to finish with a little glass man sitting in front of a PC. Obviously this is a reference to something I don't understand.

We will be the protagonists of a series of senseless murders, the game will remind us of this over and over again, as it opens one path after another, giving us an increasing challenge to traverse these paths, but always feeling fair game.

It's strange how you can go through the game asking yourself one question after another, feeling that the game is special, but having the fear of seeing it move too fast, that it will all be over before you know it, you have a brief chance to think that, but before you finish assimilating something you will see that on your screen it says: SUPER HOT.

The amount of fanservice that this game has is great, we will see: katanas, darts, daggers, baseball bats, game fire extinguishers, ninja stars, credit cards, all these objects will be weapons at our disposal to end the enemy, and be careful, because they will take them too if they can.



MORE, MORE, MORE... But when will you get tired? Come on, you finished the game, you saved the world, you defeated the system, you saved the president, you fulfilled your destiny, your parents are proud of you, come on friend. What do you expect to see? What do you expect to read? You probably just want to spawn some mindless massacre and see on the screen: SUPER HOT

The game makes you question yourself, it makes you reflect on your actions, at times it makes you massacre a predetermined series of enemies in the coolest and most epic way possible, then it asks you to stop, it's the end, you're just making nonsense progress, while you experience an empty feeling of progress and power seeing that you don't get tired helps you move forward, and by the way, take something new to have fun.

What do we have now?

A phrase that you will not get tired of repeating, we have more, something more, now let's advance between levels that we will call "nodes" at the end, going through the nodes will cost us a bit, since it will be a sequence of levels, one after another, by the way, one more complicated than another.

The game gives you more and more things as you progress, powers that we will call "Hacks" among some unlockables we will have things like: make objects throw harder, throw shurikens when hit or make the bullets of our weapons go through enemies.

There are somewhat more complex levels, which give us something called "core" this element changes the gameplay a lot, if you ask the reason I will let you see it yourself.

“Charge” a skill that makes our character jump towards an enemy and hit him, it seems something simple, but the truth is that it changes the way of playing immensely, after this you are going to want to finish off the enemies quickly! pure blows!

Although the game does not explain it, using the "Charge" core makes it possible to kill enemies with just two hits, instead of three as usual.

The game is really a special game, I would say it is quite underrated, at first time you try it it may seem quite simple, but as you progress you get drawn into it, you notice the little things, the progress as you play and you can notice how the difficulty curve goes up, at first you will think that being able to stop time makes it easy, but this is where part of the difficulty of the game lies, not knowing how to control the movements and doing unnecessary things will lead us to defeat.

The game is great, I hope you try it, the truth is I thought I would make this post as "first impressions" as I always do, explaining the mechanics, doing the tutorial, but the game is enough to show, see and play, so For now it is the end of this post.

Hola a todos! Hoy vengo con la review de un juego que me reo que no ha tenido toda la atención que merece, aunque he leído buenas críticas de él, lo que me hace tener la expectativa un poco alta, debo decir que sentí el miedo de que el juego fuera una decepción, pero no, está muy genial y lo que te queda en la cabeza luego de jugarlo es: SUPER HOT, SUPER HOT, SUPER HOT.

Empezamos de manera inmediata al iniciar, no hay un menú realmente destacable y esto le da algo de magia al juego, es como si todo fuera una especie de simulación, sabemos que lo es, pero el juego te lo intenta dejar claro desde el comienzo.

Las letras aparecen por doquier, hay frases que aparecen en la pantalla mientras jugamos, lo primero que leeremos será “EL TIEMPO SE MUEVE SI TU TE MUEVES” y esto amigo mío es la gracia del juego, vamos, su derechazo hacia tu quijada, con lo que busca llamar tu atención y lo que le da vida al gameplay.

El juego entero es una masacre sin sentido, vamos de aquí a allá, desafiando la física, moviéndonos a una velocidad anormal con respecto a otros cuerpos y rompiendo el espacio tiempo, también golpearemos, mutilaremos y haremos hoyos en todo lo que sea de color rojo.

Toma el arma, esquiva balas y tomate el tiempo para disparar a un objetivo, puedes hacerte un sándwich mientras piensas en cuál será la mejor estrategia para seguir, sin embargo, un paso en falso y puedes decir adiós.

No lo he dicho hasta ahora, pero el juego es una maravilla audio-visual, en todos los sentidos, cada parte del juego se siente especial, mientras te mueves puedes escuchar los pasos, sientes que el tiempo se mueve, oyes el viento, las balas, los golpes, pero cuando te detienes todo es diferente, el sonido para, apenas puedes oír algo, el tiempo moviéndose muy lento…

Para no hace el juego repetitivo, dado que se basa en la misma mecánica, siempre veremos variaciones interesantes, como este nivel que es una discoteca, desde aquí podemos apreciar la diferencias entre tener el tiempo detenido y moverse, a nivel auditivo sobretodo.



Siempre puedes ver cosas increíbles, abanicos que pueden rebanar a los enemigos, algunos de ellos desviando tus disparos con una espada, sentir como esquivas los disparos de una ametralladora con suma precisión mientras oyes las balas pasar a tu lado, todo se ve y se siente demasiado genial.



Pero no todo será un juego frenético, tendremos un trasfondo algo loco en el juego, nada más comenzar veras como termina, dirás: “Hombre que juego tan corto” pero no amigo mío, este juego no termina tan fácilmente, simplemente volverá a empezar, con algo nuevo, algo mejor.

Antes de terminarlo siempre tendremos que acabar con un hombrecito de cristal sentado frente a una PC. Obviamente esta es una referencia a algo que no entiendo.

Seremos los protagonistas de una serie de asesinatos sin sentido, el juego nos recordara esto una y otra vez, mientras nos abre un camino tras otro, dándonos un reto cada vez mayor para atravesar estos caminos, pero siento siempre un juego justo.

Es extraño como puedes pasar el juego haciéndote una pregunta tras otra, sintiendo que el juego es especial, pero teniendo el miedo de ver que avanza muy rápido, que todo terminara antes de que te des cuenta, tienes un breve chance de pensar eso, pero antes de que termines de asimilar algo veras que en tu pantalla dice: SUPER HOT.

Es genial la cantidad de fanservice que posee este juego, veremos: katanas, dardos, dagas, bates de beisbol, extintores de juego, estrellas ninja, tarjetas de crédito, todos estos objetos serán armas a nuestra disposición para acabar con el enemigo, y ten cuidado, porque ellos también las tomaran si pueden hacerlo.



MÁS, MÁS, MÁS… ¿Pero cuando te cansaras? Vamos, ya acabaste el juego, salvaste el mundo, derrotaste el sistema, salvaste al presidente, cumpliste tu destino, tus padres están orgullosos de ti, vamos amigo. ¿Qué esperas ver? ¿Qué esperas leer? Probablemente solo deseas generar una masacre sin sentido y ver en la pantalla: SUPER HOT

El juego te hace cuestionarte, te hace reflexionar sobre tus actos, a momentos te hace masacrar una serie predeterminada de enemigos de la manera más genial y épica posible, luego te pide que pares, ya es el fin, solo estas progresando en un sinsentido, mientras experimentas un sentimiento vacío de progreso y poder al ver que no te cansas te ayuda a avanzar, y por cierto, toma algo nuevo para que te diviertas.

¿Que tenemos ahora?

Una frase que enserio no te cansaras de repetir, tenemos más, algo más, ahora avancemos entre niveles que llamaremos ”nodos” al final, atravesar los nodos nos costara un poco, pues será una secuencia de niveles, uno tras otro, por cierto, uno más complicado que otro.

El juego te da cada vez más cosas mientras avanzas, poderes que llamaremos “Hacks” entre algunos desbloqueables tendremos cosas como: hacer que los objetos se lancen más fuerte, lanzar shurikens al ser golpeados o hacer que las balas de nuestras armas atraviesen enemigos.

Existen niveles algo más complejos, los cuales nos otorgan algo llamado ”nucleo” este elemento cambia muchísimo la jugabilidad, si preguntas la razón dejare que lo veas tu mismo.

“Carga” una habilidad que hace que nuestro personaje salte hacia un enemigo y lo golpee, parece algo simple, pero la verdad es que cambia inmensamente la forma de jugar, ¡luego de esto vas a querer acabar con los enemigos a puros golpes!

Aunque el juego no lo explica, usar el núcleo “Carga” hace que podamos acabar con los enemigos de solo dos golpes, en vez de tres que es lo usual.

El juego es realmente un juego especial, me atrevería a decir que está bastante infravalorado, a primera vez que lo pruebas puede parecer bastante simple, pero conforme avanzas te sientes atraído a él, notas las cosas pequeñas, el progreso mientras juegas y puedes notar como la curva de dificultad va subiendo, primero pensaras que poder parar el tiempo lo hace sencillo, pero es aquí donde radica parte de la dificultad del juego, no saber controlar los movimientos y hacer cosas innecesarias nos llevara a la derrota.

El juego esta genial, espero que lo prueben, la verdad pensé hacer este post a modo de “primeras impresiones” como lo hago siempre, explicando las mecánicas, haciendo el tutorial, pero el juego esta como para mostrarlo, verlo y jugarlo, así que por ahora es el fin de este post.

This game seems like something that I would definitely be interested in. Dodging bullets like it's the Matrix movie definitely sounds like the one thing I've always needed in a game. Will definitely check this game out.

I'm glad you're going to try it! If you expect a Matrix-like experience, you will definitely have it at SuperHot, apart from it has several things that make you feel that there is an error in the matrix.

How awesome this is! I've never seen anything like this before. It reminds me of the nurse scene of Silent Hill where the dead nurses moves to kill you if you move.

Actually I was talking about the Silent Hill movie, not the game. Although there's a game as well which is too old and I didn't give it a try as well.

I liked that "time moves with you" idea. It's different than any action games we have.

Yep, that's the great thing, it gives you a very different perspective from other games, it feels special.

Wow dude, this game is definitely something different. I don't know how to explain but yeah it's like Control but more than that. It doesn't have cool graphics but definitely interesting for me.

Hahaha yep, it's great, I hope you try it! And yes, the graphics are not exceptional, but the game knows how to compensate for this, rather it exploits it, looks like a game from the early 2000s, and the whole theme of hacking the matrix. 😅

I haven't tried Control but it seems interesting to me, hahaha I hope I can try it one day!

Superhot es un juegazo con todas las letras, he tenido el placer de jugarlo desde que se hizo popular, pero mi PC no lo soportaba demasiado bien, tengo que darle otra vuelta ahora que no se pega con cada disparo haha.

Jajajaja enserio es un gran juego, no lo jugué cuando estuvo popular, pero debo decir que agradezco jugarlo ahora, espero que le des un segundo round ahora que tienes la oportunidad de jugarlo con fluidez!

Los creadores de esta wea se volaron la barba con este nuevo concepto, casualmente si a la realidad vamos, la moverse a esa velocidad la fricción haría que el personaje terminara "super caliente" (ba dum tss), pero literalmente we xd.

Jajajaja,la relatividad es genial, no paramos el tiempo, simplemente vamos muy rapido xd, me pregunto como hace el personaje para pensar a gran velocidad y no quemarse xd.
