I was still at New York where I barely started renovating though that's not in my missions. I liberated another fort from the French there and gave it to the Templars and then I had to reach Morrigan so I can sail to meet Colonel Monro at Albany and then go for a fort.
After taking Gist as my first mate, I sailed Morrigan to River Valley first and then to Albany where Monro was waiting for us.
We found Colonel Monro at Albany and the mission started with him. He first praised Morrigan and then he talked to Gist about learning more about their conspirators and their new weapons.
Gist confirmed there's a French fort further down the river that's the base of operations of their conspirators. Monro mentioned if the French are like preparing an assault where New York could burn if they have installed a fort in this territory.
Shay decided to join Monro in taking out the French fort so I had to sail to a French outpost in Vallee Verte where I had to strike a blow against French fortifications and personnel and loot a warehouse that I'd be able to upgrade Morrigan as I'd need it fighting the French fort.
Now I had to infiltrate the outpost where I had to locate a key holder, get the key and loot their warehouse but that synchronization point attracted me as soon as I reached there so I went for it after taking down some enemies below.
Then I went into the restricted area and found the key holder using the eagle vision but I had it in mind that I'd have to hang the key holder using the rope dart to get higher memory sync so I was waiting for the right moment.
And I failed to find the right moment and I had to get into fight with the enemies there. I could still complete my task there but I already failed the easy optional task so I let the French kill me so I can redo it.
I went back and I tried the rope dart this time and I did it on the correct target but another French shot me and I failed again and I let them kill me again.
This time I even trained outside with a French soldier who was alone and I noticed I'd have to hold the button to hang and kill the target using a rope dart but I'd have to make sure the target is alone so I assassinated the French soldiers around first and then I hanged the key holder to death and I stole the first key.
Now I had to loot the first warehouse but there were guards around and I had to fight some before the loot. And the warehouse has been captured after all and I gained enough loots to upgrade Morrigan.
Now I had to escape the zone and become anonymous and then reach the captain's cabin in Morrigan to upgrade it and I went for a low upgrade there as I was saving coins to do a big upgrade later.
I sailed Morrigan to the French Fort which is Fort La Croix and the French started shooting us as soon as we reached the zone as it was already a restricted zone. There were 3 for towers that I needed to destroy to capture the fort.
I needed some times to shoot and destroy all the fort towers and we got some damages as well which was no major thing. And this fight was reminding me of Black Flag a lot as that's the first Assassin's Creed installment where I could fight enemy forts in this way.
Now after destroying the fort towers, we left the ship behind and we infiltrated into the fort. There were two French lookouts that I had to kill first and I did that being undetected taking alternative secret paths.
And when I was going for the war room, I had to fight some French soldiers there and this was the second time I was fighting them as they killed me the other time and they didn't get a chance to do the same this time as I was being extra careful.
After getting inside the war room, I found Le Chasseur inside. The assassin first acted like he didn't know recent updates of Shay but then he asked for a fight as he was sent here by Achilles.
Shay was asking Le Chasseur to leave but that man didn't have enough time to live so he kept fighting and I had to take him down and I did that after making him weak using a rope dart on him and he said hew as a delivery man of special weapons there.
The mission was completed with 90% memory sync as I couldn't complete the second optional objective which I was not aware of. Btw, the Templars has taken over the fort now from the French. I am rehabilitating the Templars in an Assassin's Creed game, lol.

Man, doesn't it get irritating getting killed that many times? Seeing how many times you got killed by french soldiers, it seems like it's too hard to play. Loved the storyline.

It can get frustrating, and to be honest, I don't like getting killed over and over again and that's why I ignore a lot of good games but you see I was not getting killed there, I was going for suicide cause I wished for the death. Glad you enjoyed the storyline, it's worth the effort.
I thought that was jack sparrow because of the boat and captain language. However the game must be a hard knock to crack

To be honest, I don't as I'm always with the Assassin's and I never liked the Templars. I still kill any Templar I found on my way. Thanks for stopping by.
