The manuscript that Shay lost after the fall, came to him again and its Monro who left it for him. Monro left for a fight to somewhere so Shay decided to check on him and he had to save the Templars as well. There was Kesegowaase who tried to take down Monro and now he knows that Shay is alive.

The sequence started from North Atlantic at August 1757 when Shay found the manuscript in his chamber in Morrigan. He found a letter from Monro as well that mentioned about him holding the manuscript for some time and he said he reclaimed it when his men found Shay marooned.
I just know that its the Templars who saved Shay when his brotherhood left him to die. Monro left for Fort William Henry, an ill-prepared garrison surrounded by hostile natives and the French Army.
Monro requested for reinforcements but he doubt they will be forthcoming. Shay didn't waste any time and decided to go save Monro so I did sail the ship through River Valley and reached this island named Marais Rocheux.
I found Jack making campfire on the island who gave me news of Colonel Monro surrendering to General Montcalm as the French and their Abenaki allies took Fort Henry. Jack also mentioned that Johnson was supposed to bring reinforcements there but they didn't so Shay decided to save Monro all by himself.
Now I had to locate Monro in this island without taking any damage as an optional objective and when I was looking for Monro around, I started noticing dead bodies of Templars.
And there goes my optional objective as one of the enemy came out of a hiding spot and attacked me. I got more of that kind around and I had to take care of them before locating Monro.

And then I located Monro along with some Templars and I found them fighting some French soldiers so I engaged and killed the remaining enemies there and now I had to escort Monro and his men.
There was Kesegowaase along with some French soldiers and he was surprised to see Shay alive. He commanded the French to shoot us and fight us where I had to defend Monro by killing the enemies.
Now Shay suggested Monro to keep his men moving when he'll scout ahead and signal if there's trouble and there's an eagle point that I interacted with. I was actually going after Kesegowaase though I didn't find him.
There were 9 snipers ahead of Monro's way and I had to kill them without getting detected as an optional objective and I failed this one as well as I was attacked by those sneakers again.
Now that my cover was already blew up, I stopped hiding and I started killing the snipers with style where I was using their own rifle to shoot them down.

After killing the snipers, I escorted Monro and his men to the ship though that path was more dangerous as there were more snipers and they were almost everywhere but I took them to safety.

Right after getting on the ship, Shay commanded to loose the sails but there was Kesegowaase trying to get to them taking some French and Shay stopped them by blasting a barrel.
Kesegowaase acted crazy as he couldn't stop them so two French men carried him away when we safely left the island and the mission was completed with 80% memory sync.

Your narration makes it feel like I'm right there in the action. And I'm surprised to see an assassin is saving Templars. The sniper takedowns did sound epic, especially using enemy rifles for takedowns.
