Loading times are really annoying, now I'm not playing on new-gen, so I don't know if the newer consoles have any serious loading time issues, but I have found that these issues are a bit of an annoyance.
Loading times are atrocious even on my SSD; I would love to see some improvement on that front. Battles are slow, and sieges are even worse.
Also, the controls. They're pretty hard to get used to, I found getting into the game was easy and what I do in-game is fine, but when I try to micro-manage my troops and formations I have a real problem. Most of the time I just have to set my units to charge, which has lost me some battles which I wouldn't have lost if I was able to set them up in formation quickly and effectively.
Man, even on PC the controls are... they need some work. They're functional for setting my troop positions, but it's definitely not as fluid as it could/should be.
Glad you've been able to snag it on the console though! I think there's a lot of gold amongst the bugs and shit.
Oh god yeah, there's no game that really gives you battles on the scale Bannerlord does. I've been having a lot of fun with this playthrough, it's been like picking it up for the first time.
