That's super cool! I had to just read up a bit on the Commodore 64 because i have heard of it but wondered why i never played it. Sounds like it was primarily in Europe. You must have been ahead of your time in the software end from the sounds of it! =)
We are in Canada and my dad refused to buy us an Atari.... he was programming on some Hewlett-Packard Super Computer at work and wanted his kids learning how to write our own games in Machine language on the Commodore 64... so my brothers and I wrote all our own games.... we sold our games on cassette and made a fortune.
Sounds like your dad was Wise and Smart at the same time! What was your favorite game you made? Was it difficult back then? Super Cool!
We made the Red Baron.... got the code at the back of a PC now magazine ...
But modified to make it better,... I always programmed the sprites for graphics and the music.
