Welcome back my friend, what a great way to come back, I've been watching the game a lot on streaming but I feel it won't be GOTY, personally, I think Elden ring will take it.
I can totally agree, Elden Ring is something totally fresh on the table and the gameplay mechanics story is breathtaking. The open world aspect of Elden Ring sets it apart.
Where for GOW you can compare the game with previous From Software titles. I would love to explore more of God Of War with time and make my opinion clear. I think the game has a lot of potential, let’s see if it can satisfy me

Hammer of Thor and Axe of Kratos, makes a good fight for sure although it surprised me that even Thor couldn't defeat Kratos.
I think Thor wasn't trying to defeat Kratos yet, but we would learn more soon >.>
