Free Games - Fallout Collection, LOTR, and other games for PC

in Hive Gaming3 months ago

Hello there.

It's been a while since I last shared some news on free games. I blame TFT and Marvel Snap for eating up a lot of my time these days. But the latest free games available have been really good that I can't not share it. So without further ado, let's get to it.

Fallout Classic Collection

Fallout is a franchise that I don't think needs much introduction to gamers. It has shaped the gaming industry in its own way, and even had its own successful TV show based on the games this year. The Fallout Classic Collection is a good way play the early games in the franchise. It consists of Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics. The graphics shows the age of the game, but I can see people playing them for the nostalgia.

I haven't played the games when they came out, so I am interested in learning more about the games and the lore especially after watching the TV show. The collection is available for free in the Epic Games Store until September 5. You can use this link to get to the game directly: https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/bundles/fallout-classic-collection.

Wild Card Football

Do you like American Football? Do you sometimes imagine what it would be like if players have powers? Well, you don't have to imagine anymore, you can actually play it. Wild Card Football gives players power ups and abilities that are over the top and fun. This goes so far from the usual Madden NFL games that it gives a different experience overall. Looking at the teasers, it kind of reminded me of Space Jam but for NFL.

What I was surprised with is that even though this feels like a not so serious game, they were still able to get actual players and likeness in it. They worked with the NFLPA and got that into the game. I can see this being a fun short type of game with friends. Players still choose the plays and strategies, but also pick wild cards to buff their team, or mess with their opponent. If you are interested to try it you can get it from the Epic Games Store. Amazon Prime Free Games

If you have Amazon Prime, as a gamer, you should definitely constantly check their free games offering. To celebrate the new season of the Lord of the Rings TV show, they are giving away LOTR games. They have the LEGO LOTR game and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY edition up for grabs. Both will be claimable in GOG, which makes it even better, and they are available up to October 1.

But that's not all. There are also other big games available. There is the Borderlands 2, available until November 28. Deus Ex Mankind Divided available until September 5. Both are AAA games and have had great reviews before. There are loads of other games there like Baldur's Gate 2. I bet there is a game there for everyone. Of course, these are not free if one does not have Amazon Prime, but a lot of Americans do, and I don't want them missing out on these awesome games. If you are interested in any of those games, you can check it out in the Amazon Gaming website, or go there using this link: https://gaming.amazon.com/home.

A lot of these are older games, but one can't really expect new games to be free so soon. I think a lot of the games are/were popular during their time, and the Amazon games have a lot of AAA ones too. If you weren't able to play these before, and don't want to buy them, you can get them for free. Or if you're like me, you can continue to increase the list of games you own in hopes of one day being able to play them. Happy gaming.
