Hello, hive gamers! PegasusX is here to give you a review and opinions about this web3 nft simulation game that I've been playing for a couple of days now.
Overview
Have any of you played or even loved simulation games like me? Growing up playing so many genres of games like shooting, puzzle, role-playing, and fighting, simulation games are one of my go-to games to play when I feel like relaxing and just passing the time. I've been playing a ton of building simulation games since then like Backyard Monsters, and Clash of Clans, and farming games like Farmville.
Unlike Farmville, Sunflower Land is based on an adorable "tropical island" which is one of my favorite places to visit and relax in real life because I really love the view of the sea, beaches, and islands.
Creating your own paradise on your island is one of the things I love to do that's why I love playing games like this.
The farming pattern of this game is just the same and different at the same time as the other simulation farming games. Your character is called "Bumpkin", where you can plant, grow, and harvest your crops, build necessary buildings, sell your resources, and expand your land to unlock more room for your crops and other buildings.

This is truly one of the reasons why I played this game and invested days into it. The PIXELATED ART of the game itself! I love how simple but visually impressive the design of this game has, the Bumpkins, lands, environment, and items appear visually good to me. So CUTE!

Sunflower Land farming experience, planting and selling crops, chopping trees for woods, mining stones, copper, and gold, fishing, casting rods to the sea, cooking to provide food to level up your character, selling or providing deliveries to earn SFL the in-game token or other rewards depending on the seasonal events, you can also redeem some item rewards by doing chores.

Personalizing your land and your character, traveling to other lands to explore, and meeting friends are some of the many in-game features you can do.
This game also had seasonal events and the ongoing event now for the month of November is the "Catch the Kraken event" where you can collect mermaid scales to be used for crafting items and cosmetics.

My Sunflower Land
Playing this game, personalizing my land for more than 2 weeks now. Expanded a couple of lands, and crafted some items to improve the farming and yielding of my crops and level up my bumpkin to level 7. Yey!

The next thing I plan to do is to buy the gold pass which costs five dollars to unlock more in-game features including craft nfts, participate in Auction drops, and access restricted areas.
Final thoughts
So far I love playing this idle game and just visiting my land, looking if the crops are fully grown and ready to harvest, crafting important items to increase my resources, seeing my character level up, personalizing my land, and meeting friends.
This game is about investing time in your land and if you look in the long run unlike other games that you have to spend all your time playing, this game is come-and-go gameplay, plant your crops, do some delivery missions, estimate the harvest time, and come back. Sunflower has that cozy and relaxed vibe, it's complex and simple at the same time. If you enjoy idle farming games this is for you.
