Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

I had an interesting hunting session in theHunter: Call of the Wild where I explored one of my favorite places in the game, the Crimson Plain in the Yukon Valley Reserve. The weather was ever so dynamic here and when I logged in, it was covered with snow.
There are many big lakes in this area, one of them had a lot of visitors, two big groups of Plains Bisons. I had hunted a lot of Bisons lately so I wasn't looking for more. My main objective was to get rare trophies, or a diamond one. It has been ages since I got my last diamond animal. I think it was a Saltwater Crocodile.
It was covered with snow, but that didn't last long, and as soon as the sun started peeking out of the clouds, the snow started melting and in about a couple of minutes, this entire valley looked completely different.
It is hard to believe that both of these places are the same. Just a few hundred meters apart. Anyway, remember the bison? Out of those two groups, none of them had enough trophy ratings to qualify them for a diamond. Or in other words none of them was big enough lol. No rares either.
But that doesn't mean they will not be killed with my arrows. I have heard that for a given time there could be a limited number of animals in the map, and to spawn more (some of them would have chances of being rare or diamonds), I had to hunt down the weaker and smaller ones. I went for smaller females, they had the worst sense and I could take them out in pairs easily.
I travelled through the crimson plains in search of bigger bisons but luck wasn't in my favor. Going up north, I reached a much greener forest and there I heard a lot of Bear noises. It was infested with bears. And not the smaller black bears but the big grizzlies. Even the females are quite heavy. But thankfully, none tried to attack me.
I didn't give them the same respect though. Why would I? I am here to hunt...right?
A perfect heart shot! Not every day you have the opportunity to face a grizzly mama bear from this close and get a heart shot. It felt instantly after the shot. Didn't even take one more step. Heart shot is the most satisfying way to kill any animal. Probably the most humane too after a brain shot?
I saw some groups of Moose, one of them had a massive set of antlers and it was in range to be a diamond as well. So, that could be a diamond potential and looking at those antlers, I believe it is diamond.
It had good senses too, made me run after him for a long time. Luckily it got back to the drinking spot after a big round of the place. When it got calmer I took the shot and that was my second shot as well. The first one didn't do anything. I was excited to check the harvest screen but was so disappointed when I saw the score. It was so close to being a diamond.
The amount of time I spent on tracking on that Moose was wasted. But the sorrow didn't last too long as I saw a beautiful rare 'piebald' Moose. I had never seen one like this before. It was the rarest Moose that I came across.
Getting this one proved to be even harder than the last one. I had to go after it for 3 kilometres on foot. But it was worth it. Look at this beauty! This will go on my display wall.
I like the little things in this game. Like the time it starts snowing and your mind gets back to the thought of how good it would be to roam around in these parts in the real world.
This was a long session but the last two hunts made it very interesting, especially the piebald moose. I am still a bit disappointed that I missed the diamond trophy by a small margin. Maybe next time I will be lucky. But a couple of heart shots in this session were satisfying.

OMG, that was a huge grizzly bear in front of you. But my question is, what would you do if that happened in your real life?? 😜
Do I have my shotgun with me? if not, RUN!!
well running is not a good option i think 😁
but a direct heart shot with 7MM MAGNUM will make it an easy task
Wow how amazing it is to see how even the game itself shows you where was the damage you have caused to the animals you hunt, and I always say that the graphics of this game are very beautiful, I can imagine how relaxing this game is and you always share with us your amazing adventures you live in it.
The game punishes us for not making those accurate shots.
This game looks interesting and I like the trees of this game.Hello @pravesh0
Thank you... 100 GB storage spent well lol. Graphics are worth it
That's great 👍🏻
Giving it a perfect shot has to be a challenge to do, when the animal keeps moving it's hard to do. Nice shot you gave the bear my friend.
Yeah, exactly. Shooting a spooked animal is really tough.

Very big and peaceful bears, but this little human does not spare any animal. Good hunting day buddy.
