Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

I booted up my No Man's Sky to explore some more planets. The system I was on had only three planets, and I explored all of them. One of them was quite beautiful, and I know there are a lot more unique planets with interesting weather and terrain to be explored, so it was time to warp to another system.
I chose a red star system that screamed tough even from the galactic map. This is called the Ledatune V, a system with 4 planets, one of them being a ringed planet.
Calling these planets weird would be an understatement because most of these are bizarre. The first one I landed on was this corrosive ball of mess with frequent storms. One of the storms started even before landing on the surface.
It had very tall and pointy mountains, some of which go as high as the clouds. I had this crazy idea to land my ship on top of those but they were too pointy for them to land.
I didn't like the greenish tint to everything on this planet. I was prepared to fly away from here soon. But before that, I decided to wait for a while and take some time for discoveries. There were 'storm crystal' here which were surprisingly expensive. One of them sold for over 200K units. That seemed quite rare to me. So, I collected a few of them quickly.
Even though this was an extreme weather planet, it was brimming with life. A lot of flora and fauna were roaming all over the surface were roaming. All of them were friendly too.
I had to constantly repair my toxic protection shield so I didn't spend much time here discovering all the alien creatures. I didn't have the creature pallets to give them and tame them.
My next target was the Dori X15 planet. It was referred to as a 'Hexagonal planet' when I scanned it. I didn't know what that meant until I got closer to the planet and saw the surface.
Everything was made out of hexagons!
Even the leaves of the plants were hexagonal. Does that mean there are planets with other shapes like this too? A square or pentagonal planet?
Even the ground was made out of hexagons, including the little flowers, alien creatures.

But their caves were not much different from what I saw on other planets. The next update they should focus is on improving the terrain generation of caves, making their bigger and better. They are not too bad it gets a little repetitive seeing the similar types of flowers around different systems.
This planet didn't show me the number of fauna and flora it had. I had to scan each without knowing how many are left.
Encounter with Space Pirates
The last planet I visited in this session is the Balhar XVII, an erupting planet with massive volanic activity. But as I was about to reach this one, my ship was intercepted by some pirate ships. There was no way to avoid conflict. I didn't want to get into this fight but they left me no choice.
This attack was easy to defend against... had to take care of only two attacking pirate ships. I am not a fan of flight controls in this game and it becomes tough to have these space fights. Having said that, it was easy to fend off this particular attack. I have had worse attacks, once with a massive sentinel fleet too.
We were not too far from the surface of the planet either. As soon as I was done with that, I started looking for a good spot to land. Flew past some massive volcanoes too. These were not bright red and orange in color but yellowish. I have been to another erupting planet in the past and this one looked nothing like the other.
Do you remember how my plans to land on the top of the mountain failed on that pointy hill planet? I had an even crazier plan this time. TO LAND ON THE VOLACONE!
Reminds me of the iconic Wesker boss fight during the climax of Resident Evil 5.
I did manage to land on the top, not in the centre of it but on the sides, still extremely hot. My suit was screaming for help and I was repairing my heat protection like crazy.
I even tried to walk casually on the middle of the hot burning lava. It was solid enough to walk and not sink in like in Minecraft. But the walk was pretty short and lasted only a few steps before I died out of extreme heat.
I love the death screen in the game. Adding that special touch to the game that makes you feel like it was made with some love.
Thanks for reading...

What a great photo you have with your character on top of your ship, I really liked it!
Greetings from Venezuela!
Glad you liked it. It was too hot to handle. lol
Wow bro, those landscapes inside this videogame look really cool, especially when you use the spaceship.
Yeah, love to just fly close to the surface in my star ship.
