Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
We had killed the Ender Dragon recently and found just one End City, but with no ships, so we couldn't get Elytra for ourselves. But that was about to change as we headed towards the End Portal on an adventure to find at least two Cities with end ships so both of us could have one Elytra each.
It was not at all fun... we were scared of using too many pearls and didn't want to hit the wall and fall into the void. We bridged as much as we could afford. Using Netherrack in the End dimension is such a cursed thing. I love it!
It took us a long time to find the End Ship. Because of the low render distance, it becomes tough to find these structures. They are also kind of rare. Seeing the floating ship was a nice feeling.

We had fun with the Shulkers, after all, we were there for more shulker boxes too. Last time, we could only make two with the shulkers we collected. This time there were many of them and this end city felt much bigger than the first one we saw. We looted the entire thing before moving onto the floating ship.
And finally, we saw our first elytra in the game. I had never used it before and I don't think Beril even saw one before. Sadly, we didn't bring any rockets to fly and find the next city easily. What a noob mistake by me.
Well, it was time to look for the next one. But before that, I made sure to get the dragon head from that end ship. We got lucky with the next one, it didn't take too long to find.
We went straight for the end ship this time. Took the elytra and thought about leaving. At this time, I got this stupid idea of creating a nether portal within this dimension to see if it lights up. I never tried it and wasn't expecting it to work too. When it failed, we laughed it off and never talked about this embarrassing failure. xD
Since we were here and not planning to come back here for a long time, we thought it would be better to mine some of these yellow end-stone blocks. They would be used in some sort of building just in case we ever need them.
We had to fill our newly acquired shulker boxes with these stones. However, I think we took a bit too many. All the poor Enderman were used to repair our pickaxes.
After grabbing two sets of wings from these end ships it was time to walk back home. We forgot to grab the second dragon head though. The first one was put in our store room.
After we got back to our base, we practised flying with it. At first, it was a bit tough, these rockets give a hard push and sometimes it gets challenging to control the speed. Landing felt a bit of a challenge too, especially when you have to land on a smaller platform, every time we would just overshoot or undershoot.
But even with these flaws, it is such a quality change to our world. Now, we can fly and cover distance much quicker. Travelling back and forth to the Desert and Mesa biome will be a breeze.
That's what we did as well. Mining the colourful terracotta block was fun and sorting them into different chests.
Beril did most of the labor-intensive work and she is good at it too. Poor girl is always following orders, what more can you ask from your mate?
But the only annoying thing is her army of pets who are always there guarding her. Why would someone need to have a dozen cats and dogs with them? xD
She makes them sit but once in a while after she feeds them, they will produce a baby and that baby will follow her wherever she goes. That is very cute, I would give her that though.
And look how she flaunts her new wings! She is always ready to take flight too. Well, both of us are. We don't feel comfortable unless we have a couple of stacks of rockets in our inventory, lol.
