One thing I've been wanting to do for a long time is redesign my YouTube channel. New name, new banner, new profile picture, new everything. There wasn't really anything wrong with the old design apart from the fact that I had locked myself into a niche that I didn't really enjoy to be in. With a new and more personalized name I can start branching out and create more content than I could before.
Totally Free Gaming -> Pusen Gaming
The new name is simple. Pusen Gaming. It's me. My name. There's no reason to make things more complicated than it needs to be. I was contemplating just naming it Pusen but I decided to add the Gaming to it just for the sake of the branding. If people see that they might be a little bit more inclined to click into my channel knowing already then and there that it's about gaming.
The reason I'm doing this is very simple. I want to create more videos about a wider range of games but with my old name and branding being locked towards Free To Play Gaming as a niche I never did. I could probably have kept the old name and made videos about whatever and no one would have cared but I know that I would have cared. Now I pretty much have a free reign to do whatever I want. This also matches together with my username on Twitch so if I ever decide to get back into streaming there will be more of a match.
Now that this has been done I'm going to dive right into creating some new videos. I will still be doing videos on Century: Age of Ashes seeing as I'm partnered with them but I also want to create some videos about Halls of Torment and Deep Rock Galactic seeing as those are games that I play quite a lot. Down the road I'll most likely be creating videos about whatever games I find enjoyable then and there.
I went with a rather simple design for both the profile picture and the banner. This is a logo that Midjourney spit out for me at some point that I just decided to use for this. The profile picture and banner matters very little for a channel anyways so I chose this mostly just to have something. I can always change it again if I decide to in the future.
Anyways, this was just a small update about my channel. Hopefully this can push me into creating some more videos going forward as that is something I really enjoy doing. Check out the freshly designed channel below.

That logo is pretty dope. Midjourney is super powerful tool, I was going to ask who made the logo but that was answered by further reading the post.

This is a good decision for you, my friend. Like you said, you don't have to focus only on free games anymore. You can also talk about games that aren't free but that you love to play. Your logo looks nice. Midjourney did a much better job than I expected. Maybe it can do the same for my Hive background.

The new name is somewhat more fitting 😂 and attractive.... Free to play gaming isn't as attractive as most people don't care about F2P games 😂

For something simple, it's very good. I'm not a big fan of gradients but it works.
Both images looked kinda stale without the gradients so I decided to keep them in.
You should make a channel trailer to go with your rebranding, maybe leave a clip in the end that tells people that you were formerly TFG

Claro amigo, hace lo que a vos te parezca mejor y te de gusto porque al final terminas jugando algo que no queres y editando algo que no disfrutas. Lo quieras o no se va a ver reflejado en el canal pero si lo haces con pasión y gusto por un determinado juego esa va a sumar mucho, vas a estar motivado a hacerlo y la gente lo va a notar.
