We Climbed From Hell To Heaven In Chained Together

Having seen countless Tik Toks and Reels about people playing Chained Together me and @emuse decided to give it a go together. It's a relatively cheap game at only $5 so the barrier of entry is really low. It was even on a 10% discount when we bought it. We're gonna buy a new house with the money we saved.

Obstacle course from hell

Chained Together is basically one long obstacle course from hell. Literally. The entire goal of the game is to escape hell by climbing up to the heavens. Along the way there's some pretty masochistic obstacles you have to traverse to get there. That's not all though. If you fall you risk falling all the way down to the bottom at which point you have to start your climb all over again. That can be quite frustrating.

The unique thing about this is that it's a cooperative game. You can play alongside four friends and you're all linked together by a chain, meaning one player can't just zoom along the obstacle course. If one person fucks it up there's a chance he might fuck it up for the entire team. You don't want to be the person to drag everyone else back down to hell.

Me and @emuse played this as just the two of us and that's more than enough. I can't even imagine being four people coordinating all these jumps together. We also got pretty annoyed from falling down several times so we decided to play on the beginner difficulty which let us teleport back to our highest point if we fell down. We didn't do that all the time though, just if we ended up falling super far.

The game isn't super long. The length mostly comes from having to do climbs again if you fall down. We managed to beat it in 5,5 hours but I have friends who has done it in less then three. I've also seen speed run records of 45 minutes but that doesn't really mean much seeing as there's a speed run of Elden Ring done in 3 minutes and 56 seconds.

It's not a special game seeing as the only mechanic you have to worry about is WASD for movement and space bar for jumping but it's a fun challenge to tackle with friends. I would definitely recommend checking this out if you have a small group of friends that all have a little bit of patience. I can imagine it being quite the friendship destroyer if not.

Man, this one looks fantastic. But I'm confused why you chose to move to hell from heaven. Wasn't heaven good enough? lol.

Lol, it's definitely meant to say from hell to heaven. My bad for typing it out wrong.

Lol. So me getting confused was not wrong after all.

Greetings friend, this is the first time I see this game and it certainly sounds very interesting for the theme and especially having to get out of that great place. I have been playing this game for a long time and I am very happy with it and I am very happy with the game.

It's the first time you see the game but you've been playing it for a long time?

I have never played it

Then your comment makes no sense.

Lol, I've seen this video game before and the truth is that it is very troll to play with friends, if one of them falls the fault is the one who falls, while the others are annoyed for not playing as a team xD

You need a designated 3-2-1 man. And skill.
