"A Samurai Knows How To Apply The Right Amount Of Force - Too Little And You Lose Respect, Too Much And You Lose Opportunity."
Hello Again My Friends
Welcome back. I hope you guys are having a wonderful Friday! Today I wanted to show the gaming community another collector's edition I got a few years ago and that's Ghost Of Tsushima! It was developed by Sucker Punch and yes, the same people who made Sly Cooper and InFamous back in the day. Sucker Punch is probably my 2nd most favorite dev team because I grew up playing the Sly Cooper franchise all of those years ago on the PlayStation 2. My first time playing InFamous however, is a pretty interesting story. Back in 2011, there was a hack on the PlayStation Network which caused an outage. It resulted in users not being able to log onto the network. I was one of them, and the crazy thing about it, is that it lasted for a month. When it was over, Sony gave us some free games as an apology. It was, Wipeout, Little Big Planet, Dead Nation, and InFamous. We were only able to get 2 free games, but players were able to finesse the welcome back package and got all of those games (including me lol). 😂 What a crazy time it was, but funny enough that was my introduction to InFamous. Sorry for the long history, lets get right into the presentation for the collectors edition! 👺 🗡️🌸

Here, we have a strong and stoic Jin Sakai on the front of the box with leaves drifting in the wind as he stands out in the field. This actually captures the feeling of serenity and the etherealness of what’s to come in the game. So they definitely did a good job of conveying that message. As for the back of the box, It shows what comes with the collector's edition. We have one of Jin Sakai's mask, steel book, a cloth map, sashimono war banner, mini art book, wrapping cloth, and DLC goodies. Interestingly enough, the mask is not his ghost mask, but rather his samurai mask. I think I would have preferred his ghost mask, but this one is pretty bad ass though!
When you take the box outta the box (lol) you're presented with an elegant design of the game's logo which has a gold shiny effect to it. Again, they're emphasizing heavily on the leaves blowing in the wind. Inside, we have the mask on the left with a menacing look to it. On the right, the game it's self and the art of Ghost Of Tsushima. Just the process of opening the box feels like a story in a way.

For the steel case, we have Jin Sakai in his ghost outfit. Kinda interesting that he doesn't have his bandana on, but he still looks pretty awesome. I'm not 100% sure what the kanji on the left means, but I think it means Jin, which is the main character in the game. We also have the logo for Jin's clan as a texture that separates the images on the steel case. On the back of the case, it shows sucker punch's updated logo. Inside, we have a beautiful black and white flower pellet texture scatter within the case. By purchasing the collector's edition, I was able to receive some DLC content. It includes a Playstation 4 theme, charms, a skin for your horse and Jin Sakai, and lastly, director's commentary. Overall, the whole steel case looks aesthetically pleasing. Lets move on to the art of Ghost Of Tsushima.
The art for Ghost Of Tsushima is just breath taking. You can tell that Sucker Punch really spent their time crafting the visuals for the game and taking a lot of inspiration from the Japanese culture while also respecting it. When I first got the art book, I didn't open it because I was afraid that there would be spoilers. But now that I got the chance to look at it, it makes sense on why the game is so beautifully crafted. Honestly, just talking about it makes me want to play it again. Riding through the flower fields of Tsushima as the sun sets, or fighting Mongols as the thunder rages through the night sky. This game to me, is a masterpiece and it should belong in a museum.
The collector's edition also comes with a cloth map of Tsushima island and the Sashimono war banner. The war banner looks worn out with some battle scars. I think they did this by design because it looks quite authentic, like it actually came from within the game. The art for the cloth map is just so cool. I really do hope that it doesn't get worn out because I may just put it in a frame and hang it up somewhere. And now, we move on to the main meat of the collector’s edition. The Sakai mask! 👹
This mask is freaking dope, bro. It comes with a stand so you can show off to your friends and family. But that would be boring though, actually wearing the mask is the fun part. Unfortunately, it's not for that. 😭 If I dropped the mask it would probably break. So I definitely can not risk that. This is a cool replica though and it has some weight to it too. It's quite well made. If I every get rich one day, I'll make an expensive version of this, with gold teeth. Now that would be hella cool. 😎
I liked to also mention that Ghost Of Tsushima has a multiplayer mode that came out a few years ago. It's pretty similar to Destiny; like having different classes and perks for each character. It has a co-op mode, pvp mode, wave mode, and a raid mode. Me and @daltono use to play this game a lot during the covid days. It was really really fun. I kinda wish that they expanded more on it, but hopefully when Ghost Of Yotei comes out, the multiplayer will be even better.
Jin Sakai is one of my top 5 favorite character's. It's just so unfortunate that he isn't getting a 3rd story. No spoilers of course, but based on how the story ended in the first game, you'd think that he get a sequel. I am a bit curious on what Ghost of Yotei will bring to the table however. Apparently it's suppose to take place a few hundred years after the story of Ghost Of Tsushima. So, when PlayStation announces a collectors edition for the game, I'll definitely get it to show to you guys. 😌
Ilan Eshkeri - Lady Masako
This is one of my most favorite tracks from the game. When I listen to this track, it gives me a sense of hope and having the will and conviction to keep going. The music in this game is something else, man.
until next time, peace, love, and positivity. I'm out.

Oh yeah. This is my favorite game of all time. The gameplay and storyline is amazing. So I wish I had a pack like this. Keep it safe. I'm coming for it 😅😅
lmao 😂 I don't even know if I wanna part ways with this just yet.
So dope, dude. Love every part of it. I am playing Ghost of Tsushima and the game is so damn beautiful. Love the map and banner. But the best part has to be the Mask. Good luck with having one with actual gold teeth...hehe. One day 🤞
Do you have the Hollow Knight Collector Edition too? That one is my favorite.
Ah man, Hollow Knight. No I don't but I beat the game a few years ago. Probably one of the best metroidvania games out there.
Amazing! Love this collectors' editions! The n mask is the most beautiful item without a doubt. The art of the book is amazing too. Really dope bro!
Love this game and love everything you shared!
