From the best I can tell when I looked into things it is in fact working out for them.
Basically they are quite heavy into the console markets. While it seems there PC market is growing a little bit due to some prices and other changes they made. They also have massive plans to expand out into the mobile market which is one of their smallest areas.
They have also been making huge push on what they consider to be “recurring investments” into games already released that are generating a higher profit margin from things like digital good, dlcs, and subscription services.
