Maybe I was too harsh with NFS - No Limits.

Exactly a week ago I wrote a post where I talked a little about my return to Need For Speed Limits, a mobile game that, despite having the typical problems of any free to play, also has a surprising ability to provide several hours of entertainment if we know how to be patient and approach its objectives without having to pay real money.

And while No Limits has the annoying habit of bombarding us with game modes and mechanics from the first minute (something that deeply affects the learning curve), after you give it a chance it can become a perfect way to kill time, with attractive graphics and simple but effective gameplay.

Although as I mentioned in that post No Limits has a campaign mode which is a central part of the experience, by following a game as service philosophy we must understand that the real meat of the title is in its special events, which can be permanent or limited in time.

These special events represent the easiest way to get really fast vehicles, which would take an absurd amount of grinding or (like I said before) paying with real money.

For example, if you enter the app currently you will find this event called IMMORTAL MAJESTY that lasts approximately a week and that upon completion will give us a PAGANI UTOPIA if we finish all the challenges on time.

Likewise, said event has a special mini story that for some reason includes vampire-themed circuits and supernatural elements (for some reason), small details that can represent a break from the monotony offered by the rest of the game modes.

On the other hand, there are simple events that can be completed in any period of time, such as this mode called Drift King which will allow us to acquire the iconic TOYOTA AE83 Trueno, well known for the tofu delivery memes (which by the way the game itself makes reference to).

Does this mean that No Limits is a perfect game? Of course not, even if we play religiously the progression can be tedious and our progress is limited using the NP of our vehicles as an excuse, however, if we accept it as it is, again, it can provide us with good times of fun. I personally am surprised that I have remained hooked, since I honestly thought I would not play again since I wrote that review.

That vampire themed circuit is really unique. Was that because of the Halloween or has been an event for a long time?

At first I thought it was for Halloween, but the event only has a couple of days available. I still think it's cool haha
