How have you all been? Missed me? Or nah? Haha. It surely has been a while.
Since I haven't getting much time to play, and absolutely no time to edit these gameplay videos, I just had to skip out on posting for a while. As I mentioned on one of my previous posts, I am now on a house hunting journey, and so far I have shortlisted a few apartments, but we are nowhere close to sealing the deal.
So, it's gonna be this way for a while I'd say. Yet, here we are now...
Things surely have changed in-game and in the COD scene since my last upload. It's been close to a month now, so of course some major changes have been implemented; a strong few meta changes and shifts is what you can expect, which is good actually. So far the current "meta" has been quite enjoyable and balanced, also giving us access to a ton of new weapons and builds, unlike the past few months, where it all became repetitive.
We also had the Modern Warfare 2 Beta Access week, which I did enjoy; I plan on doing a first impressions post and also want to share a little montage of the clips that I managed to get during my "beta testing". Sadly, back then my AMD Adrenalin software was acting up for some unknown reason; it just wouldn't let me record any footage, and by the time I got it fixed the beta access was already closed, and for that reason I lost quite a few "golden clips".
Yet, this isn't the end, it's just the start actually, because when the game drops I'll surely be grinding my ass off, whenever I get the chance that is.
But I have to get the game first, for some reason I still haven't pre-ordered the game, because a part of me keeps telling me that I might just end up regretting it haha. We all know how it went with Battlefield 2042, it surely didn't live up to the hype, and a lot of people who pre-ordered didn't even play the game, or more like they couldn't play the game lol.
So for now I guess I'll wait for the game's release, maybe, not making any promises just yet haha...
For the game today we probably have one of the calmest and quietest games in all of my gaming years, no joke. And that's actually a good thing, it just means that I'm locked in and ready for some action; possibly in flow state, where I'm performing at my best.
Also, I didn't have the mates with me in this match, not the whole team at least; so there wasn't much trash talking to do, nor a chance to strike up a conversation.
It was only @ophibious and I, we were running as a duo with two other random players. Him and I are quite the duo, we have some great natural synergy, a proper amount of experience and good understanding of the game as well. So I really didn't have to talk or lead much, only a few key calls and comms was enough for us to dominate this lobby. The lobby was fairly easy too, and as you all know, after getting access to my new rig things have been going quite smooth, 90% of it at least.
For the loadout I am still carrying my trusty PPSH in this one, it never lets down, even after the nerf, but I have switched things up for now. Paired with it I had an opponent's Grau setup, which I knew was a proper long-range weapon, because of the recent buff. So I just decided to keep it on my back instead of grabbing my own loadout. Later around mid-game I grabbed my perks and my PPSH from my Tempered loadout and I was good to go, all set for the end-game.
The Grau surely is an OG for me, it used to be my go to weapon back when the game just dropped; back then I never even touched any other auto weapon that much. I used this gun so much that I almost hit Gold with this thing just from playing Plunder haha. Those were some good times, simple times, moments and circumstances that are now a thing of the past.
Luckily though, both our random teammates were quite good as well, we barely get such random teammates/players, so that surely was a surprise. They helped us every now and then, which made things a lot easier, and In the end we managed to secure quite a flawless win.
Well, that's about it for this little gameplay. This one is without a doubt one of my favorites, because it quite easily stands out from the other "rage filled" playthroughs and uploads. 😂

Woah, this was a long time ago, before the beta! Wow, we both seems pretty chilled throughout the game XD

It didn't seem like we were playing together LMFAO. Just noticed our communication was so much better.

yeah indeed it looks more calmy compared to warzone1 which is a improvement for sure, i'm glad you got your beta-access.
The original Warzone was messed up due to countless additions and implementations, which was unnecessary, but also necessary at the same time. What they could've done instead of piling up 3 to 4 games together was to just add a different set of weapons and maps into the original game, instead of merging every game one after the other. Yet, here we are now, even if it's a mess, it's still worth the trouble.
Luckily, I could manage some time to grind and test it out properly, but I'm not sure when I'll be getting the game. So far it seems like an expensive purchase that also holds quite a lot of hassle, and I'm someone who likes to maintain distance from such pesky inconveniences. Time will tell I guess, I'm in no hurry for now.
Maybe getting a taste of the Beta run of Warzone 2 will help me change my mind, but for now it's still 50/50.
Ah well, this Rebirth Island reminds of the old black ops days. Viktor Reznov reminds me of some good memories.
And I wanted to play warzone or modern warfare 2 but damn do I have a graphics card.
Rebirth Island is actually from Black Ops, was known as Alcatraz in a previous COD title. They just "reskinned" it and put it here, and whad'ya know? It turned out to be a hit, a fan favorite, sure as hell is my favorite; it goes toe to toe against the bigger and "badder" Verdansk, the original map for Warzone, but they're still quite different in terms of playstyle.
Mid 2021 Warzone was losing players, so they put this map in and tried their luck; not only did that move revive the game, it also brought in an extra set of players. Thanks to this map Warzone is still alive, or it would've been buried down deep over a year ago.
A true blast from the past, the Grau meta is a hit in the nostalgic zone. I still remember, back in Season 5 or 6, when they just introduced the Sp-r and that thing was a hit-scan.
Vanguard ar Cold War ashe baal banay dise, honestly.
Only the OGs know what's up, that iron sight was just as good and clean as a 3x, nothing like it. A true beauty this thing. Getting it Gold back in the early Seasons just from playing Plunder, that says a lot about the gun's potential and the grind too.
These weapons had character, even more than any other gun from Vanguard with all those 10 attachments lol. Every drop and addition offered something new, I could spend hours perfecting a loadout and build for myself just from those 5 attachment options.
At the start both these games were disastrous, but around mid-way even they were quite "acceptable" and fun. Yet, nothing will come close to the Modern Warfare experience and Verdansk from the OG Warzone days.
Hopefully Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will be able to offer that consistent experience.
Well, the price on MW2 is a dispersal agent. The early access for all the platforms on the multiplayer showed that the slide cancel was taken out. This negation is enough to ruin the experience, the drop shot is a mechanism of the old Cods, doesn’t suit the “Modern Warfare”.

I’m low-key waiting for the new and improved bugs on the Warzone 2 XD.
Conspiracy: As soon as the Warzone 2 comes out, the devs would make rebirth disappear, or make it unplayable, the multiplayer modes full of bugs. I dunno who even plays the Br mode these days.
