Batu having won his first battle and earning some money to fill his belly lost his next encounter. It is clear he needs more practice and more monsters to summon to become stronger. Achieving this would not be easy he would need time and luck learning new spells to summon monsters.
After travelling around for awhile Batu stumbled upon an old temple. The temple was in disrepair the walls tumbled down in sections with moss covering the stones. The gathering storm shrouding everything in darkness and the air damp with the humidity of the pending storm. As the wind changed Batu felt a new chill in the air.
The promise of a new monster to add to his spell book was to much to pass up though . It was rumoured that the knowledge of the Soul Storm was a closely guarded secret of an old summoner that lived there. If you beat him in combat he would teach you the spell.
As Batu entered a small chamber in the back of the temple he was confronted with his adversary.
“Do not waste my time, I know why you have come,” said the old summoner. “Let us see if you are worthy”
