Esto quiere decir que este videojuego requiere una mayor memoria gráfica, y más memoria ram para poder cargar estos escenarios y enemigos, por lo que para poder jugar a mayor resolución y poder disfrutar de mayor características del juego en la consola de Nintendo 64, era necesario instalar un periférico de la consola llamada “Expansión pak”, que aumentaba la capacidad de la consola a nivel de hardware y ayudaba a poder tener un mejor desempeño en este juego con nuestra consola, y si básicamente este accesorio podría significar lo mismo que mejorar nuestra pc actualmente instalando una nueva memoria ram, o una tarjeta gráfica más potente en nuestro pc para mejorar el rendimiento en los juegos, sin embargos algunos periféricos de la consola de Nintendo 64 no tuvieron tan buena venta y duraron poco tiempo en el mercado, pero no obstante perfect dark es un juego bastante recordado de esta consola por sus cinemáticas y secuencias de acción, y al igual que en videojuegos como Golden eye 007, la empresa de rare de igual forma implementó la mecánica de dificultades para que pudiéramos disfrutar de varios tipos de juego en escala de dificultad de menor a mayor, por lo que a pesar de todos estos aspectos o curiosidades o limitaciones que tenía el videojuego en esta consola, es un juego bastante recordado y querido pro la comunidad de Nintendo 64 de antaño.
