The Digimon Ruble Arena CD
When I was little, my older brother an I had a Playstation 1, we had a lot of games, actually i don't remember which games my brother played but THE game i played the Most was Digimon Rumble Arena.
This Digimon fighting game was incredible for me (I still play the game emulated, actually). My older brother is 4 years older, so I was gettin' home earlier from class everytime to play, and when he got to the house I was already playing the game.
He played more Triple A games or more conventional classic titles of the Playstation 1, til' this day he plays more conventional Big Games than me. So heres what happened, I got to the house first, like always, got the game out the CD carrier put it into the PsOne and i got the classic stuck PsOne starting screen.
Getting the CD in and out into the playstation and nothing happenned, i proceeded to clean the CD with some shirt or cloth and i realised that the down-face side of the CD was scrachted and had some other marks of Pencil Erasers.
Yup, was my brother (don't worry i still love him, at the time i didn't that much). My Dad didn't bought the game again so didn't play much with the PsOne that was like the only game I played, I cried, I got angry but that was all.
This is an Anecdote that I always tell, today I laugh with it and still annoy my brother with this story, and his reaction always makes me laugh becaus it's "common that again?". So maybe it's one of the worst experiences because i cried and got angry with it a lot, like for the entire year but in some form got transformed to a now i laugh with this story.
The Habbo Hotel Mistake
Habbo Hotel it's maybe a Social Network more than a Game for many, but for context it's a massive conversational platform where you can chat with people, make friends, creating a character and decorating your rooms.
To buy objects or so called "furnis" you have to expend real money, at the time was really famous the way of buying credits through SMS and getting money into the game to buy the objects, before i had a cellphone and spare money to buy Balance Cards to buy objects in the game i had nothing, just the basic Furnis that the game gifted at the time (because as it is today they gift basicaly nothing).
It was the time that Habbo was transitioning of the Hand Inventory to the Inventory we have now.
So now it comes my brother into play quite literally, again (yes massive influence in tech and games in my life). He played with some friends of him, he expended some money into it, but he didn't played that much because didn't like it
When the time passes and He and his friends stop playing he decided to gift the furnis to me. I was Happy, again i was little i had like 15 furnis so that was amazing, so far a Happy Story.
I was playing like every other afternoon, moving furnis, creating rooms and having fun with my furnis, they were very basic nothing valuable or expensive, but they were all i had and like any other kid i was amazed, so then i started to delete rooms because i had created too many and most of them were empty, a couple of them had similar names so instead of entering the room and verifyin the content inside i just pressed delete.
At that time habbo didn't implemented the feature of returning the furnis to the inventory when you delete a room. So yes, that was awful, specially at that age, i was perplexed at firts, and then when i checked the rooms and they were empty i started crying like crazy, my mom asking what happened? she was asking my brother if there was some way to fix it. Obviusly there's was not and they weren't going to give me money to buy more, and i appreciate that, not to be that spoiled.
But yeah, that was it, deleted for good, after that some years later i bought some more items and til' this day i have the furnis and account somewhere.
Conclusion
I hope you like the post, my experience wasn't on a true gaming level, but it's related to games, and i was very little when all of this happened, so as it is today i laugh but in those days was a really bad time.

El CD de Digimon Ruble Arena
Cuando era pequeño mi hermano mayor y yo teníamos un Playstation 1 (PsOne o Slim), teníamos muchos juegos, no recuerdo que juegos jugaba mi hermano realmente pero EL juego que yo jugaba era Digimon Rumble Arena.
Éste juego de pelea de Digimon era increíble para mi (de hecho hoy día todavía lo juego en emulador). Mi hermano es 4 años mayor que yo, así que en ese tiempo yo llegaba primero de clase a la casa casi siempre, así que cuando él llegaba pues yo ya estaba jugando.
Él jugaba juegos más triple A o clásicos, convencionales de las PS1, hasta éste día todavía él sigue jugando grandes títulos y yo sigo con juegos más pequeños. Así que ésto fue lo que pasó, llegué a la casa primero como siempre, saco el CD lo inserto en el PsOne y me daba la clásica pantalla atorada de error de la Play.
Sacando y metiendo el CD en la Consola y no pasaba nada, procedí a limpiar el CD con alguna camisa o trozo de tela y me di cuenta que la parte de abajo del CD, la de lectura estaba rayada y tenía pasadas de un borrador de lápiz.
Sí, fue mi hermano (no se preocupen, yo lo amo pero en ese momento no lo amé tanto digamos). Mi papá no volvió a comprar el juego, así que no jugué mucho más a la Play sinceramente, era prácticamente el único juego que jugaba, lloré, estuve molesto pero eso fue todo.
Ésta anécdota siempre la cuenta, al día de hoy me río, y la cuento solo para molestar a mi hermano, su reacción siempre me hace reír porque dice "Coño, ¿otra vez esa historia?". Así que a lo mejor fue de las peores experiencias porque estuve triste, llorando y molesto por mucho tiempo, algo así como todo el año, pero de alguna se transformó en una anécdota con la que me puedo reír.
El Error de Habbo Hotel
Habbo Hotel a lo mejor es para mucho más una Red Social que un juego, pero en contexto es una juego conversacional masico, donde puedes chatear con gente, hacer amigos, crear personajes y decorar tus salas.
Para comprar objetos llamados "furnis" tienes que gastar dinero real, en ese tiempo era muy famoso la manera de recargar "créditos" a través de Mensajes de Texto (SMS) y así tener dinero para poder comprar objetos, antes de que tuviese celular y dinero guardado para comprar Tarjetas de Saldo para recargar no tenía nada, solo los furnis básicos que te regalaban en aquella época (porque he de decir que hoy día no regalan ni medio)
Era el tiempo en el que Habbo está haciendo la transición a un nuevo diseño, pasaron de "La Mano" a lo que tenemos ahora.
Ahora entra en juego mi hermano, de nuevo (si, una gran influencia en mi vida en cuanto tecnología y juegos). Él jugaba con unos amigos, gastó un poco de dinero pero dejó de jugar porque no le gustaba mucho.
Pasa el tiempo, él y sus amigos dejan de jugar y decide regalarme sus furnis. Estaba feliz, de nuevo era chico, y eran como 15 o 20 furnis aí que fue maravilloso, hasta ahora una historia feliz.
Estaba jugando en una tarde, como siempre; moviendo furnis, creando salas, y bueno, divirtiéndome con mis furnis, eran cosas básicas sin mucho valor ni mucho coste, pero eran todo lo que tenía y como cualquier otro niño estaba maravillado, así que empecé a borrar salas porque tenía muchas y la mayoría estaban vacías, un par de ellas tenían nombres similares así que en vez de entrar a la sala para verificar el contenido de las mismas solo presioné borrar.
En ese tiempo Habbo todavía no implementaba la opción de devolver los furnis al inventario al borrar las salas. Así que si, fue horrible, especialmente a esa edad, estaba como en shock de primeras, cuando entré a las salas y me di cuenta que no había nada en ninguna de ellas empecé a llorar como loco, mi madre preguntaba ¿Qué pasaba?, a mi hermano le decía que si no había alguna manera de arreglarlo. Obviamente no había, y no me iban a dar dinero para comprar más, que de hecho aprecio no malcriarme.
Pero sí, eso fue todo, borrado para siempre, después de algún tiempo pude comprar por mi cuenta con dinero que iba guardando y hasta el día de hoy todavía tengo la cuenta y los furnis por ahí.
Conclusión
Espero que les haya gustado mi post, mis experiencias a lo mejor no son un nivel explícitamente "Gamer", pero si es relacionado con los juegos y cuando era pequeño que sucedió todo ésto, así que hoy día me río pero en ese tiempo fue bastante horrible.
Estoy contento de participar en éste evento/concurso y estoy emocionado por leer mucho de sus posts, los leo pronto :).

Buenardo el Habbo. Tengo muy buenos recuerdos acerca de este juego. Algún día podríamos jugar un rato para socializar y conseguirnos unas buenas perras hahaha. Muy buen post.
