In the previous chapter we were tasked with controlling the legendary beasts, to do that we need the help of the 4 main tribes, so our goal is to head to each of the tribes and convince them to join us. We also aim to head to a lab to repair our sheikah tablet. However, I don't intend to focus so much on the main thing yet, I'm more interested in completing as many shrines as possible to increase my stamina and hearts.
Exploring I was able to find a total of 4 shrines, which by the way were pleasantly much more complex than all the ones I had completed so far, in a couple of them I had to stop for a moment and think clearly to interpret what I should do, which is fine because it makes completing them more satisfying.
After finishing with the shrines I wanted to continue with the adventure, going into caves, forests and everything that seemed curious. I came across a small ranch in the middle of nowhere where I could rest and buy some resources like arrows, ingredients, etc. There were also some travelers I could talk to, two of them even gave me a second assignment related to a treasure.
A very good detail of the side quests in this game is that they leave everything to your interpretation, I mean; The mission statement may tell you what to look for, but in no case it will be marked on the map, it is up to you as a player to follow the clues to complete them, for example: "There is a treasure following the river to the north...", "there is a dangerous area located in the mountain to the south... ", etc.
I also encountered a big Kolog named Obab, which allows me to increase the size of my inventory in exchange for Kolog seeds, which I obtained throughout the adventure by completing small mini-games like lifting specific rocks, destroying specific objects, etc. I thought they were collectibles, so I'm glad to see they do some good.
Finally, after a good few hours of exploration I decided to advance a little in the story and set off towards the laboratory, although on the way I came across an area of interest; There was a giant cyclops sleeping in the middle of a forest. I did not hesitate to approach and fight him, I was curious to see what kind of combat it would be and the rewards I would get if I managed to defeat him. The mechanics consisted of aiming at his eye and trying to hit him with an arrow to knock him to the ground and attack him with everything.
The combat was challenging, with one or two blows he was able to kill me. When I defeated him he gave me as a reward his nails and teeth which, based on the description of them, are used to make elixirs. Honestly I was expecting something more substantial as a reward, but just for the combat it was worth it.
After finishing with the cyclops I continued on my way and arrived at a new village. Taking advantage of the fact that in this village there was also a clothing shop, I sold some valuables to earn a few rupees and finish buying the complete set of armor.
A little after the village was the laboratory, inside it was the creator of the sheikah tablet, who noticing that it is broken, undertakes to repair it, but first she asks us to bring the blue flame to her forge.
In this assignment it was impossible for me not to think of the Olympic Games, since you literally have to carry the flaming torch from one point to another, although here there are small lanterns that will serve as checkpoints to protect the fire in case the torch goes out at some point.
Once the assignment is completed, the creator repairs our sheikah tablet and two new modules are activated; The camera module and the album module. It turns out that inside the tablet there are 12 photos that have been taken by Princess Zelda 100 years ago, before Link fell into that deep sleep. So, to recover our memory, we have to go to the places that appear in the photos, which by the way are not marked on the map, it's up to you to investigate where each one is.
With the sheikah tablet repaired we can get going to the main tribes or, instead, we can dedicate ourselves to find the locations of the photos. Either way I found it a good time to finish the adventure, honestly the game never ceases to amaze me, I had already managed to fall in love with everything that has happened, but this of having to find the locations of the photos to go recovering fragments of our memory, I love it.

Cool. This is really engaging. The GIF even makes it better. I was just checking for the part where the beast will hit the big pestle on you. Lol. This is super nice.

This game looks super good. Can't stop watching that GIF of you shooting that giant cyclops in the eye lol. I still haven't played this series since N64 but need to get started on these newer titles. Great post!
It was more or less the same for me. I don't think I had ever seriously played a game of this saga. Maybe in the gameboy I played one, but it was so long ago that I don't even remember if I finished it 😅.
Yeah, Zelda’s been around for a while but it’s great to see it still standing strong and looking great too. I think there was two three N64 games and even more on other platforms. Zelda, Mario, Kirby, and Pokémon are the OG’s, basically them an everyone in the original Smash Bros lol
Even though I haven't played this game, I've read a lot of praise for it. Isn't it weird that sometimes in games you get things that you never use? Sometimes you collect 1000 antlers and you never use them until the end of the game. Just collectibles XD Luckily you didn't experience that in this game, my friend. I'm happy to read about your adventure, waiting for the next chapter olympic runner.
Haha well, sometimes it happens here too, I have so many cooking ingredients or minerals that surely will stay inside the inventory until I finish the game, because they are not of much use xD.
