secrets of grindea is a game with a very simple theme but that from the beginning manages to hook us into its world, its classic rpg theme allows us to develop our character at ease, like all rpg we can choose between magic, physical attitudes and skills with the sword and shield, 2-handed sword, archer or even being a bit of everything, and the game feels so rewarding that as you move around the map you want to continue exploring more and learn more about the world that this title offers us.
Let's talk about the beginning, from the beginning of the game you can customize your character and create it to your liking because we have different hairstyles and colors to choose from, we also have 2 basic game modes that are the story mode (for all those who start) and the arcade mode (a challenge for the most experienced players of the game) the differences between the two are more than obvious but I will explain what each one is about:
Story mode: In story mode we learn the basics of the game and develop our character to get used to the style we play while telling us its fun and immersive story and what happens in the game constantly challenging us with various monsters and puzzles, each one more difficult than previous.
Arcade mode: It is an addition to the game where the goal is to reach the top of the mountain, but it is not easy because when you start the arcade mode you have to create a character from scratch and you have only one life, the more you climb, the more difficult It will be, and to go up you have to overcome certain combats, you will face simple monsters and bosses as well, but when you die your character will restore his skills from scratch, so think about it before playing it because it is a very difficult mode.
Bearing this in mind, let's continue, from the beginning of the game you will become familiar with the controls of the game and you will have to leave your small village on the top of a mountain, but as you go down you will fight against different monsters and very basic, it will help you climb level and you will gain skill points to learn some new power, each different power has the option to increase it to make it stronger, it all depends on our style.
Secrets of grindea has a very beautiful art style because even if it is a pixel art it is very well worked, its movements are very fluid and its color palette is very well achieved, each area generates a good atmosphere despite being different, from the peaceful meadows that generate a certain peace for us due to their green and blue colors that generate the tranquility of a meadow, to the dark colors of the forest of the pumpkins whose theme is Halloween, giving us a beautiful and dark forest for its purple and orange colors , its setting is very well achieved and together with its soundtrack it manages to amaze us and generates the desire to want to explore more and more.
As for its playability, it is something classic but fun at the same time, each key has a different function for different types of magic but you can configure it to your liking obviously, its fighting style is very reminiscent of zelda, however it maintains characteristics that make it feel unique , such as the fact of being able to use different types of magic while fighting (as long as your mana bar is full) or the change of weapons to achieve different unique combos, in terms of exploration we cannot say much because at this point a little, because each room is a little closed and we will mostly go to each area for the farming, although what it lacks in exploration it makes up for with the rest of the things that the game offers, the puzzles are not that complicated for the most experienced players but Some of the many puzzles that exist will make your life impossible because you have to solve certain things to go to another area and be able to continue and believe me when I tell you that some of their puzzles are A headache. As for their NPC'S, each one is pleasant in their own way, although they do not feel "alive" you get to have a certain affection for someone and the world does not feel empty, they are there to give you missions and trade with you.
The game is completely low-resource so it runs on any pc, it has an online mode in which you can play with 3 friends and you can change the language at any time, it is an excellent option for everyone in general, the game offers many hours and due to its variety of skills and its 2 game modes you can try new things all the time because you can have several characters to invent different things in each game, some extras of the game are fishing within the story mode and the creation of objects that together They give you the option to trade with the NPC's, if you like classic pixel arts or RPGs then secrets of grindea is an excellent option.

secretos de grindea es un juego con una temática muy sencilla pero que desde el principio logra engancharnos a su mundo, su clásica temática rpg nos permite desarrollar nuestro personaje a gusto, como todo rpg podemos elegir entre magia, actitudes físicas y habilidades con la espada y el escudo, la espada a dos manos, el arquero o incluso siendo un poco de todo, y el juego se siente tan gratificante que a medida que te mueves por el mapa quieres seguir explorando más y conocer más sobre el mundo que nos ofrece este título .
Hablemos del inicio, desde el inicio del juego puedes personalizar tu personaje y crearlo a tu gusto porque tenemos diferentes peinados y colores para elegir, también tenemos 2 modos de juego básicos que son el modo historia (para todos aquellos quién comienza) y el modo arcade (un desafío para los jugadores más experimentados del juego) las diferencias entre los dos son más que obvias pero te explicaré de qué se trata cada uno:
Modo historia: en el modo historia aprendemos los conceptos básicos del juego y desarrollamos nuestro personaje para acostumbrarnos al estilo que jugamos mientras nos contamos su divertida e inmersiva historia y lo que sucede en el juego desafiándonos constantemente con varios monstruos y acertijos, cada uno más difícil que el anterior.
Modo arcade: Es una adición al juego donde el objetivo es llegar a la cima de la montaña, pero no es fácil porque cuando inicias el modo arcade tienes que crear un personaje desde cero y solo tienes una vida, la Cuanto más subas, más difícil será, y para subir tienes que superar ciertos combates, te enfrentarás a simples monstruos y jefes también, pero cuando mueras tu personaje recuperará sus habilidades desde cero, así que piénsalo antes jugarlo porque es un modo muy difícil.
Teniendo esto en cuenta, continuemos, desde el inicio del juego te familiarizarás con los controles del juego y tendrás que dejar tu pequeño pueblo en la cima de una montaña, pero a medida que vayas bajando lucharás contra diferentes monstruos y muy básico, te ayudará a subir de nivel y ganarás puntos de habilidad para aprender algún poder nuevo, cada poder diferente tiene la opción de aumentarlo para hacerlo más fuerte, todo depende de nuestro estilo.
Secrets of grindea tiene un estilo artístico muy bonito porque aunque sea un pixel art está muy bien trabajado, sus movimientos son muy fluidos y su paleta de colores está muy bien lograda, cada zona genera un buen ambiente a pesar de ser diferente, de lo pacífico prados que nos generan cierta paz por sus colores verdes y azules que generan la tranquilidad de un prado, a los colores oscuros del bosque de las calabazas cuyo tema es Halloween, brindándonos un bosque hermoso y oscuro por su violeta y naranja. colores, su ambientación está muy bien lograda y junto a su banda sonora logra asombrarnos y genera las ganas de querer explorar cada vez más.
En cuanto a su jugabilidad, es algo clásico pero divertido a la vez, cada tecla tiene una función diferente para diferentes tipos de magia pero puedes configurarla a tu gusto obviamente, su estilo de lucha recuerda mucho a zelda, sin embargo mantiene características que lo hacen sentir único, como el hecho de poder usar diferentes tipos de magia mientras luchas (siempre y cuando tu barra de maná esté llena) o el cambio de armas para lograr diferentes combos únicos, en cuanto a exploración no podemos decir mucho porque a estas alturas un poco, porque cada habitación está un poco cerrada y en su mayoría iremos a cada zona para el cultivo, aunque lo que le falta en exploración lo compensa con el resto de cosas que ofrece el juego, los puzzles son no es tan complicado para los jugadores más experimentados pero algunos de los muchos acertijos que existen te harán la vida imposible porque tienes que resolver ciertas cosas para ir a otra área y poder continuar y créeme cuando te digo u que algunos de sus rompecabezas son un dolor de cabeza. En cuanto a sus NPC'S, cada uno es agradable a su manera, aunque no se sientan "vivos" llegas a tener cierto cariño por alguien y el mundo no se siente vacío, están ahí para darte misiones y comerciar contigo .
El juego es completamente de bajos recursos por lo que se ejecuta en cualquier pc, tiene un modo online en el que puedes jugar con 3 amigos y puedes cambiar el idioma en cualquier momento, es una excelente opción para todos en general, el juego ofrece muchas horas y debido a su variedad de habilidades y sus 2 modos de juego puedes probar cosas nuevas todo el tiempo porque puedes tener varios personajes para inventar cosas diferentes en cada juego, algunos extras del juego están pescando dentro del modo historia y la creación. de objetos que en conjunto te dan la opción de comerciar con los NPC's, si te gustan los clásicos pixel arts o los juegos de rol entonces secrets of grindea es una excelente opción.
