Greetings, friends from the Hive Gaming Community, today I’m bringing to you the final part of my Resident Evil 3 playthrough. In the previous chapter, Nemesis destroyed the helicopter that was coming to rescue Jill and infected her with the virus, now I took control of Carlos, who is determined to find a cure against the infection, so without further ado, let’s begin.
Saludos amigos de la comunidad Hive Gaming, hoy les trigo la parte final de mi playtrough de Resdent Evil 3. En la parte anterior Némesis destruyó el helicóptero que venía a rescatar a Jill y luego la infectó con el virus, ahora tomé el control de Carlos quien está decidido a encontrar una vacuna contra el virus, así que sin más comencemos.
First, I explored the accessible areas and ended up inside a hospital (definitely the best place to find some kind of cure), here, some very dangerous enemies appeared; I managed to defeat them and afterwards, I went up in the elevator.
Exploré las zonas accesible y terminé entrando a un Hospital (definitivamente el mejor lugar para encontrar una vacuna), aquí habían unos enemigos muy peligrosos, al derrotarlos subí por un ascensor.
In the hospital I found Nicolai, who turns out, is still alive and seems to have gone completely mad because he tried to kill me, after that encounter, I solved various puzzles that were quite easy and I got a liquid to make some kind of vaccine, so I continued exploring.
En el Hospital me encontré con Nicolai, quien sigue vivo y al parecer a perdido la cabeza completamente ya que trató de matarme, aquí también habían unos cuantos puzles que no eran complicados y al resolverlos obtuve una parte la de la vacuna así que seguí explorando.
In the basement, I found the other part of that vaccine and a machine that could process it, there were some kind of frog-monsters inside some glass tubes in this area, and when I obtained the cure, just as I expected, this monsters broke out of them and attacked me.
En el sótano encontré otra parte de la vacuna y una maquina que servía para procesarla, había una especie de monstruos-ranas metidos en criaderos de vidrio, al obtener la vacuna tal y como esperaba, esos engendros rompieron el vidrio y me atacaron.
When I finally managed to get to the hospital exit, I discovered a bomb with a countdown that was about to explode, so I crossed the door really fast, and then Carlos is shown running for his life, barely saving himself from getting charred in the explosion.
Al llegar a la salida del Hospital, descubrí una bomba que estaba a punto de explotar, y al cruzar la puerta, se muestra una secuencia donde Carlos huye a toda velocidad, salvándose por los pelos de quedar atrapado en la explosión.
I went with the vaccine to the chapel were Jill was resting and Nemesis appeared, this one is still alive too and stronger than ever, I tried to defeat him by shooting him, but Carlos had a low amount of ammo and weapons, so I ended up running away, in the end, he stopped following me and I managed to cure Jill.
Me dirigí con la vacuna hasta la capilla donde se encontraba Jill y Némesis apareció, está vivo y es más fuerte que nunca, trate de vencerlo disparándole, pero con Carlos teniendo tan pocas armas y munición, terminé huyéndole, al final dejó de perseguirme y pude darle la vacuna a Jill.
After receiving the vaccine, Jill got better in record time, Carlos told her that he was going to explore the place and I started playing as Jill again, so I continued searching in the places near where Carlos was before and close to the hospital, I found a simple lock that Jill could open.
Después de recibir la vacuna Jill se recuperó en tiempo record, Carlos se fue del lugar y volví a tomar el control de ella, así que solo quedaba seguir explorando los lugares cercanos en los que estuvo Carlos ya que cerca del Hospital había una cerradura simple que podré abrir con Jill.
I explored this area and I found a key, it allowed me to go into a new creepy place, a graveyard, here some zombies came out of their graves in a very Hollywood movie style.
Revise las zonas cercanas y encontré una llave, esta me permitió acceder a una zona bastante tenebrosa, un cementerio, aquí se ven zombis saliendo de sus tumbas al estilo de las películas de zombis de Hollywood.
After exploring a bit further, I found Nikolai once more, he was not so aggressive this time around (he told Jill that she was a puppet but at least he didn’t try to kill her), but after a while, something scared him, something he referred as “another mutant”, I got out of that zone and the giant worm from before showed up again, this time there was no escape, I had to face it and defeat it.
Después de explorar un poco me encontré con Nicolai una vez más, esta vez no fue tan agresivo (dijo que Jill era una marioneta pero al menos no trato de matarla), pero en un momento algo lo asusto, algo a lo que se refirió como “otro mutante” salí de la zona y apareció el gusano gigante, esta vez no pude huirle, y tuve que enfrentarme a él de forma obligatoria.
The fight was not so difficult, maybe because of the type of ammo that I used to beat it, I shoot it with the grenade-launcher, using acid grenades and after 10 shots, this horrible giant bug fell dead, I thought it was going to be tougher to be honest.
La batalla no fue particularmente difícil, quizá fue por el tipo de munición que use para enfrentarlo, pues decidí dispararle con el lanzagranadas y use granadas acidas, después de 10 disparos, ese horrible bicho gigante cayó muerto, esperaba que aguantará mucho más daño para ser honesto.
Then, I kept advancing until I crossed a bridge, and once again I had to make a choice in an event where I had two options to deal with Nemesis who showed up again, I went for the first one and Jill pushed Nemesis off the bridge and then ran until she got inside some factory.
Continúe avanzando y cruce un puente, donde me mostraban una vez más una de esas secuencias conde debo escoger entre dos opciones, decidí por la primera y Jill empujó a Némesis fuera del pequeño puente y corrió hasta entrar en una especie de fabrica.
Here, Carlos gave me the bad news that there was a plan in action to nuke the city to end with everything and that apparently, the plan was to leave no survivors.
Aquí Carlos me da las malas noticias de que están planeando lanzar un misil nuclear contra la ciudad para acabar con todo y que al parecer no quieren ningún superviviente.
I explored the factory and solved some puzzles, one of them was very complex and took quite some time, it was about some squares in line that had to match between them with the last line, this allowed me to determine if the water in the area was safe and in that way, unblock a door.
Exploré la fábrica y resolví unos cuantos puzles, uno de ellos bastante enredado y que me costó un poco de tiempo, se trataba de unos cuadros en línea que debían coincidir entre ellos con la última línea, esto servía para determinar que el agua era segura y así poder desbloquear una puerta.
I went down an elevator and got inside that very same door, here I found Nicolai who this time was being really violent, the bastard kept shooting at Jill while she was trying to bargain with him, but Nemesis appeared and took care of him, he finally did something good! I’m pretty sure Nicolai won’t show up again with the surprise that he is still alive.
Baje por el ascensor y accedí a esa puerta, aquí encontré a Nicolai, esta vez estaba actuando muy agresivo, el bastardo me estaba disparando mientras Jill trataba de negociar con él, pero apareció Némesis y se encargó de él, y esta vez estoy seguro de que no volverá a aparecer con la sorpresa de que sigue con vida.
After that, it was Jill’s turn to face Nemesis, I was in a somewhat small area, with a countdown and with Nemesis, who I noticed, was moving slower than he normally did, in this place there were some valves that I could shot to release acid, this made a lot of damage to Nemesis, who even slower, could stand being shot multiple times, more so than in previous encounters.
Después de esto era el turno de Jill de enfrentarse a Némesis, me encontraba en zona un poco pequeña, con un conteo regresivo y Némesis estaba más lento de lo normal, en esta lugar habían unas manivelas que al dispararles liberaban acido y le hacían mucho daño a Némesis, quien aunque se movía lento soporto muchas más balas que en los encuentros anteriores.
When I defeated him, Nemesis lost his head (I guess this time around he is truly dead), I took an electronic key and got out of there, and Nemesis body is shown being thrown to the waste with a lot of trash, where he belongs.
Al derrotarlo Némesis queda decapitado (supongo que ahora si está muerto de verdad), tome una tarjeta electrónica y al salir de la zona, muestran como el cadáver de Némesis es arrojado a los desperdicios junto con un montón de basura.
I used the electronic key to keep advancing and I found a radio where Carlos gave me the good news that he had found an helicopter and that he was waiting for me, he suggested me to take a small radar that indicated how long it would take for the nuclear missile to hit the city and destroy it, when I took it, I saw that the missile was already in the range of the city, I acted fast and kept going forward to escape this place.
Use la llave electrónica para poder continuar avanzando y encontré un transmisor donde Carlos me da las buenas noticias de que encontró un helicóptero y que me está esperando, me sugirió tomar un pequeño radar que me indica cuanto le falta al misil para chocar con la ciudad y destruirla, al agarrarlo en misil ya se encontraba en el rango del radar, actué rápido y continúe avanzando para escapar de esta ciudad.
I got inside a place where an automatic door was blocked because there was not enough energy and I saw some huge batteries that I had to push, but just after pushing the first one I saw Nemesis show up again, nice! He was headless but alive, and turning into some kind of giant and deformed thing capable only of crawling and spiting acid, even nicer! I pushed the rest of the batteries and some cannon started shooting.
Entre a un lugar donde había una puerta cerrada por falta de energía y unas enormes baterías que debía empujar y al empujar la primera, apareció Némesis ¡Que agradable sorpresa! Estaba decapitado pero vivo y se transformó en una cosa amorfa y gigante que se arrastra y escupe acido, empuje el resto de las baterías y un enorme cañón empezó a disparar.
The cannon could not aim; it had only one direction, so I had to make Nemesis get in its way to make the cannon hit him, but since Nemesis had become huge it wasn’t so hard, by the third hit Nemesis had been destroyed.
El cañón no apuntaba, por lo que debía hacer que Némesis se atravesará en su camino para que este le acertará, pero como Némesis esta enorme no fue muy difícil, al tercer cañonazo se ve como Némesis es destruido.
I tried to get out through the door that was now unblocked and surprise! What was left of Nemesis was still alive, who would have guessed it? I had to choose between two options for the last time, in this instance I went for the second one: “end the monster”, and a cutscene was shown where Jill shoots him with a magnum revolver, and this time, he is truly finished.
Traté de salir de salir por la puerta que se había desbloqueado y ¡sorpresa! Némesis seguía vivo, me mostraron una secuencia donde debía escoger entre 2 opciones y decidí la segunda “acabar con el monstruo”, de esta forma se puede ver una secuencia donde Jill le disparó con un revólver Magnum y está vez si acabó con el de forma definitiva.
Now I could go through the door and down in a small elevator, when I got there, I found Carlos who was waiting for me beside the helicopter, well done Carlos! And just in time! Here we are shown a cutscene where the missile destroys Raccoon City and Jill, alongside Carlos, managed to escape, then the game’s final credits are shown, at long last, I finished the game…
Ahora si salí por la puerta y baje en un pequeño ascensor, al llegar a la zona baja, encontré a Carlos esperándome en el helicóptero ¡Justo a tiempo! Aquí se muestra una secuencia donde el misil destruye Raccoon City y Jill junto con Carlos logra escapar de la Ciudad en el helicóptero, luego proceden a pasar los créditos del juego por fin, logré completar el juego.
I want to clarify that this isn’t the first time that I complete this game, when I was a kid (about 20 years ago), I must have completed it about 15 times, I just wanted to revisit this experience and share it with the community, without nothing more to add, thanks for your visit and see you in another post!

Lo gracioso es que cuando eres primerizo, crees que matas a némesis todas las veces y resulta que no, incluso al final quedé dudoso jaja.
Si, es como si fuese inmortal, pero al final con la explpsion de la ciudad no creo que haya sobrevivido xD
Esto me hizo recordar a cuando jugué el resident evil por primera vez, de pequeño me daba susto jajaja.

Me has hecho recordar momentos de alegría y sobre todo de miedo en las noches mientras jugué este gran título. Némesis aparece por todas partes y es allí donde está el suspenso. Es uno deis juegos favoritos.
