The PS1 was one of the consoles I could have, I could enjoy many great games, getting money to buy games was a little difficult, so I learned to download games and burn them to a CD, this way I could play for free and without worrying about money, among all those games I downloaded there was one that surprised me by the amount of things it had, and it was surprising because for a wrestling game there were many things you could do, fully customize your character including the set of movements, today we will talk about WWF SmackDown 2.
La PS1 fue una de las consolas que pude tener, pude disfrutar de muchos juegos bastante geniales, conseguir dinero para comprar juegos se me hacía un poco difícil, así que aprendí a descargar juegos y grabarlos en un CD, de esta manera podía jugar de manera gratuita y sin preocuparme por el dinero, entre todos esos juegos que descargué hubo uno que me sorprendió bastante por la cantidad de cosas que tenía, y era sorprendente porque para ser un juego de lucha, eran muchas las cosas que podías hacer, personalizar completamente tu personaje incluyendo el set de movimientos, hoy hablaremos de WWF SmackDown 2.
WWF SmackDown 2, as its name suggests is a WWF game (now WWE), the legendary wrestling company that many of us know, I had played the WWE games of the PS2 and I liked them a lot, so when I saw this one I decided to start playing it, and I was surprised how dynamic it is and the variety when offering a unique and pretty cool experience, if you are a fan of wrestling is probably you will get nostalgic to see wrestlers like Matt Hardy or Mankind.
WWF SmackDown 2, como su nombre indica es un juego de la WWF (actualmente WWE), la mítica compañía de lucha libre que muchos conocemos, había jugado los juegos de WWE de la PS2 y me gustaron muchísimo, así que al ver este decidí empezar a jugarlo, y me sorprendió lo dinámico que es y la variedad a la hora de ofrecer una experiencia única y bastante genial, si eres fan de la lucha libre es muy probable que te pongas nostálgico al ver a luchadores como Matt Hardy o Mankind.
Tiene muchas maneras en las que podemos experimentar los combates, Hell in a Cell, Wrestlemania y hasta podemos pelear fuera del escenario, en lugares como la cocina o un lobby, utilizando diferentes objetos del escenario para derrotar a nuestro enemigo, podemos poner a nuestros rivales en mesas para estamparnos contra ellos, lanzarlos fuera del escenario, podemos utilizar muchísimos elementos de nuestro entorno para pelear.

We can play with all the wrestlers that belonged to the WWF at the time, The Rock, Kane, Undertaker and more, each with a unique set of moves, each wrestler has a special move, with a quite unique way of fighting, based on style based on fists or more focused on kicks, each wrestler feels very different and offers a different experience to the one that would offer you another.

Tiene un modo de juego llamado Season que se asemeja mucho a un modo historia, el juego nos pone combates y hace que creemos relaciones con otros luchadores, podemos tener conflictos con algunos y llevarnos bien con otros, a veces se nos presenta una cinemática para mostrarnos algún evento que ocurra entre los luchadores, como el que ataquen a otro luchador entre dos luchadores para incapacitarlo, o encontrarnos en el backstage con otro luchador con el que tengamos conflicto, e iniciando así una pelea "callejera".

Algo que me parece un poco mal de este juego son las pantallas de carga, tiene muchísimas, para cualquier cosa que vayas a hacer tiene una pantalla de carga, pero creo que es entendible con todo el contenido que tiene para ser un juego de peleas de la PS1, nunca me frustré por las pantallas de carga.
Something that I find a bit annoying about this game are the loading screens, it has a lot of them, for anything you are going to do it has a loading screen, but I think it's understandable with all the content it has for a PS1 fighting game, I never got frustrated by the loading screens.
Podemos tomar sillas, martillos, la escalera para entrar al cuadrilátero para pelear, podemos usar las mesas de los comunicadores para estampar a los rivales contra ella, una cosa que me parece muy genial es que, normalmente si te sales del cuadrilátero te dan 10 segundos para volver y si no lo haces te descalifican, cuando quitas esa regla, puedes salirte del estadio, si llevas a tu rival hacia la entrada, pueden salirse y llegar hasta el backstage o incluso más allá.
We can take chairs, hammers, the ladder to enter the ring to fight, we can use the communicator tables to smash the rivals against it, one thing that I find very cool is that, normally if you leave the ring they give you 10 seconds to return and if you don't they disqualify you, when you remove that rule, you can leave the arena, if you take your rival towards the entrance, they can get out and reach the backstage or even beyond.

Desconozco en su totalidad los juegos de este estilo, creo que nunca he jugado alguno de ellos. Los de la nueva generación si me llaman la atención, pero nunca he tenido la oportunidad de jugarlo. La lucha libre profesional me parece una locura, sape gato todas esas locuras que hacen.
Actualmente está un poco más suavizado, yo la veía hace muchísimos años y a veces te quedabas con la boca abierta de lo loco que llegaban a ser, pero si, en realidad los juegos son muy geniales incluso si no te gusta la licha libre puede llegar a gustarte!!
Esste tipo de juegos es muy divertido en modo multijugador, yo solia jugarlos en Nintendo 64, y era muy gracioso bajarse dle ring para buscar una silla y golpear al contrincante, me gustaria adquirir uno de estos juegos para el N64.
Los de N64 son muy geniales,jugué muchísimos, pero luego jugué a este y me pareció muy superior a aquellos, si vas a probar algún clásico de lucha libre, te recomiendo este muchísimo

Qué extraños eran los juegos de la WWE antes jaja, pero bueno, al menos estaba entretenido.
