Time to continue our journey in Black Myth: Wukong. It took quite a few tries to defeat the fire wolf but we managed to get it done. Now the next challenge will be to defeat the giant blue baby looking thing. This guy was very annoying at first but after a while I kinda figured out how to do it easily.
Managed to do a lot this time and it's starting to feel like I am getting the hang of this game quite fast. Got some new gear and the transformation spell we received from defeating the fire wolf is awesome. Didn't expect us to turn into him but I'm not complaining. His attacks are great.
So far I can't find anything to complain about in this game and I'm having a blast with it. Next time we'll have to get through yet another boss but I think it should be quite easy now that I kinda know what I'm doing.
See you guys next time!
That's surprising. I've only played the opening so far, and just watched my friend play around for a bit, and although I can forgive the issues I have with it for a first time game, they're still issues.
Like, the double whammy annoyance of no map and random invisible walls in the most ridiculous places, which you'll never know where due to no map.
It destroys an element of exploration because you can come across the tiniest ledge, smaller than many ledges you've previously jumped upon, but you get magically blocked. Even hopping down to the floor less than a metre below - blocked! Ridiculous!
Also from what I've seen, I'm somewhat offended by people's comparison to Elden Ring - for a start the environment looks pretty much the same throughout X(
Damn I didn't really notice any invisible walls like that yet I think. The map part I do get though. I'll keep an eye out for that next time I play. Kind of curious because to me I've felt very free in exploring so far.
Haha yea well I get that people do that. I wouldn't say they are similar in any other way than the souls-like combat though. They are both their own game and Elden Ring is probably the better one out of the two. I kept comparing it to a souls like game in the first video as well just without even thinking about it.
It's nice to play something fresh though I would say. People love souls-like games and this is just a breath of fresh air in that genre.
Game's absolutely beautiful, wow.
God, that beast looks amazing. I don't want to see too much so I don't spoil myself, I hope to play it at some point.
I've read this opinion a lot, before its release I remember seeing people saying it would be a good game and that's it, but these last few days I've seen everyone saying it's exceeded expectations because of how awesome it is.
Haha yea they did an amazing job with the visuals. Can't wait to see more of these amazing bosses.
I agree. Myself included honestly. I was expecting it to flop somehow on release but I'm happy to see that it's actually so awesome. Hope you get to try it out soon!
Looking awesome!

Heard that the game feels more like GoW than Souls? Is it true?
This is a game that was completely off of my radar until about a week ago!
I would say it feels like a mix of the two. The boss fights do feel like a souls game but you also have spells that help a lot making the game feel easier. You also use the spells in the exact same way as GoW iirc so yeah.
This is finally out?! I remember first seeing clips of gameplay for this in 2019!
Yes it's finally out! I've been waiting for it ever since I saw those clips way back and I'm happy to say that it is awesome so far!
