Today we're testing the game that everyone has been talking about for the last couple of days. It is of course Palworld! Going in I already kind of knew that this game would be cool but I didn't expect it to be this much fun. I usually don't like these kinds of games much wehre you have to build everything and so on but something is different about this one. I am loving it!
By the way, I noticed there is some noise going on in the background of my mic. Not sure what happened to my noise suppression on OBS but I will fix it for next time. Sorry about that, I know it sounds terrible.. :(
I like how many "pals" there are in this game already and there's so much to do around the map. I did kind of start out a bit weird by placing my base right at the spawn area but I noticed later on that you can move your base so it shouldn't be a problem. After that we got started with building everything we needed and slowly leveling up our base while also hunting for some cool pals.
It's so cool that you can use the pals for different things in this game too. You can have them working for you at the base or you can use them as battle monsters when you go out hunting. There seems to be bosses scattered around the map too and if I understood correctly there will be some NPC's later on too.
Nice to see something like this come out with kind of a fresh take on the whole base builder/survival genre. I totally understand why there is so much hype around this game at the moment. I strongly recommend trying it out if you haven't yet. Tomorrow we're back to Lost Judgment again.

I got this game for free with Xbox Game Pass. I am going to have to check it out. It doesn't look like what I would normally enjoy, but i have heard really good things about it.
Try it out! It definitely isn't for everyone but at the least you should get a few hours of fun from it.
Once I am done with Final Fantasy 16, I will try this one out. It seems like an easy one to come back to and mess around in.
This is the first time I've seen the gameplay despite hearing about it everywhere lol. It reminds me of The Legend of Zelda BOTW, kinda like Fortnite as well, and like they said Pokemon. I only heard cos of the controversies but looks like a nice game lol
Yea I noticed some similarities to BOTW too. That melody that plays when you discover a new area and even the text that comes up is very much similar. It's definitely fun for a while.

Honestly I just wanted to play more but had to go for Sunday dinner with some friends haha. It's kind of addictive.
The game looks good in terms of visuals for all the hype I heard. I half expected it to be a flop, but apparently not!
Really good so far and if the devs keep working on it and expanding then this game has a lot of potential for sure.
Actully a really good game and a lot of fun. I'm just waiting for the lawsuit from Pokémon but maybe they have their butt covered lol

I've seen a lot of people from my Steam friendlist playing this already, as well as on YT streams, lol. Honestly, I love the basics and techniques but doesn't really seem like my cup of coffee, at least after so many story-based games I played lately but it's a pleasure watching it for sure. :)
Yes seems everyone is playing it at the moment haha. It's definitely not for everyone but if you like grinding and just having fun for a while then it's the right game for that. I can definitely see why it's become so popular after playing it for a while.
I have already heard a lot of positive things about this one. And you already playing it... so cool, man. Pretty amazing concept imo.

Its interesting that this shifted from what looked like the whole "Pokemon but with guns and slavery" into what seems to be more into a mix between thsoe survival games with crafting and...I don't know if Monster Hunter does have you capturing some of those as assistance, but the idea that whatever you capture is basically more on the range of general utility rather than just specific combat similar to the Pokemon anime is cool when you think about it.
Yea it's kind of a mix of different games but it all blends together really well in my opinion. It just makes sense somehow. It's definitely cool and so much fun so far.
Playing for one hour is good enough and I think you enjoyed the game for you to play for more than one hour
I have also seen the trailer of this game and the graphics are also very good so this game must be played by all of us.
Haha yea it's all you hear about lately. I think they have a really good game here and hopefully the devs will keep working and expanding on it. I usually don't like these types of games much either but this one feels really good so far. The Pals and how you can use them make it way more fun even if you are playing alone. Hope they get it to PS soon enough so you can try it out for yourself!
Hahah yea it does sound pretty bad when you put it like that. Almost feels bad too cause some of the pals look really cute. Didn't know Xbox got it already. Good move on their part.
