✦Good morning, afternoon, evening, or whatever time you read this…it's been a while…hasn't it? I've been missing, college stuff, but I'm free at last! Playing and trying what I want is always a rewarding experience after being so overwhelmed, so…what better than celebrating by playing indies! And that's what I'll do, Bringing you this interesting old-style puzzle game!

✦So, Baba, right? I know the name sounds weird and in fact the game is quite peculiar, which makes it a lot of fun, since it moves away from the traditional puzzle game as it works in such a way that there are many possibilities in a single puzzle and maybe there is more than one answer...
✦But why? This is thanks to its unique gameplay based on blocks that change the rules of what each thing does according to the combination of words that are formed, normally, "Baba is you" means that you are baba, that is, you control the white thingy of the game, in case for example… What if you wanted to be a wall? So you would change to “Wall is you” weird… right? However, this opens up new possibilities, what if the flag is no longer "Win" but now the wall is "Win" or that the rock is no longer pushable, but you are the rock...
✦Much of its charm is in the composition of its levels and its words that create totally new possibilities depending on how you face the level, in addition the world is made up of a set of areas which have thematic levels, which each present new words and new challenges to which you must think to solve the riddles that these levels offer you of course.

✦The game relies heavily on its simplicity, the controls are based on moving, undoing your actions and restarting the level… The charming and fun but simple art style does the job of giving the game a body… And the soundtrack? Follow this simplistic trend, making the levels calmer and more relaxing as you stop to think about how the hell you're going to deal with the problem at hand.
✦The game without denying it can be a bit frustrating at times, as new words, items and rules are added as you progress so that you really have to use your wits much later on. Despite that, the difficulty curve is not that exaggerated and these rules and words are added little by little with the goal that you master them completely before giving yourself a bigger challenge.

✦Note that the game also has a level editor which magnifies the experience by giving players the ability to create their own unique puzzles, although in my own experience with them they can be quite chaotic.
✦Although the developer levels are great too as you can even make baba…3D? That's right, somehow some levels can make baba 3D…So the editor gives a lot of freedom to those who use it to create at will and much more!

✦Baba is you, is a game that if you like indies and even more so if you like puzzle games you should try it, personally I highly recommend it, the difficulty is good, the art is fun and its soundtrack is also easy to learn and understand but hard to beat.

✦Buenos días, tardes, noches o cual sea la hora a la que leas esto…Ha pasado un tiempo…¿Verdad? He estado desaparecido, cosas de la universidad, pero por fin soy libre! Jugar y probar lo que quiero siempre es una experiencia gratificante después de estar tan agobiado así que…¡Qué mejor que celebrándolo jugando indies! Y eso es lo que haré, Trayéndoles este juego al viejo estilo puzzle tan interesante!

✦Entonces, Baba ¿Verdad? Sé que el nombre suena raro y de hecho el juego es bastante peculiar, lo cual lo hace muy divertido, ya que se aleja de los juego de puzle tradicionales pues este mismo funciona de tal manera que hay muchas posibilidades en un solo puzle y tal vez haya más de una respuesta…
✦¿Pero por qué? Esto es gracias a su gameplay singular basado en bloques que cambian las reglas de lo que cada cosa hace según la combinación de palabras que se forman, normalmente, “Baba is you” significa que tú eres baba, es decir, controlas al animal blanco del juego, en caso por ejemplo…¿Qué pasaría si quisieras ser una pared? Entonces cambiarias a “Wall is you” raro…verdad? Sin embargo esto abre a nuevas posibilidades, qué tal si la bandera ya no es “Win” sino que ahora la pared es “Win” o que la roca ya no sea empujable, sino que tú seas la roca…
✦Gran parte de su encanto está en la composición de sus niveles y sus palabras que crean posibilidades totalmente nuevas según cómo enfrentes el nivel, además el mundo está conformado por un conjunto de zonas las cuales tienen niveles temáticos, los cuales cada uno presentan palabras nuevas y retos nuevos a los cuales deberás de pensar para resolver los acertijos que estos niveles te ofrecen por supuesto.

✦El juego se alimenta en gran medida de su simplicidad, los controles solo se basan en moverte, deshacer tus acciones y reiniciar el nivel…El estilo artístico encantador y divertido pero simple a su vez, cumple con su función de darle un cuerpo al juego…¿Y el soundtrack? Sigue esta tendencia simplista, que hace de los niveles más tranquilos y relajantes mientras te paras a pensar cómo diablos afrontarás el problema que tienes enfrente.
✦El juego sin negarlo puede resultar un poco frustrante en ocasiones, ya que mientras avanzas nuevas palabras, objetos y reglas se van añadiendo con el fin de que tengas que de verdad usar tu ingenio mucho más adelante, a pesar de eso, la curva de dificultad no es tan exagerada y estas reglas y palabras se van añadiendo poco a poco con el objetivo de que las domines por completo antes de ponerte un desafío más grande.

✦Destacar que además el juego cuenta con un editor de niveles el cual magnifica la experiencia dándoles la habilidad a los jugadores de crear sus propios puzzles únicos, aunque en mi experiencia propia con ellos pueden resultar bastante caóticos.
✦Aunque los niveles de los desarrolladores son geniales también ya que incluso puedes hacer baba…¿3D? Así es, de alguna forma algunos niveles pueden hacer a baba 3D…Por lo que el editor otorga bastante libertad a aquellos que lo utilicen de crear a placer y mucho más!

✦Baba is you, es un juego que si te gustan los indies y más si te gustan los juegos de puzzle deberías probar, personalmente lo recomiendo bastante, la dificultad es buena, el arte es divertido y su soundtrack también junto con que es fácil de aprender y entender pero difícil de superar.

Baba Is You me parece un juego interesante, aunque casi no lo he entendido, lo probaría igual porque me gustan mucho los juegos de puzzles.

Muchas gracias! Yo creo que realmente es un juego simple, lo difícil es la combinación de sus "simplicidades" para crear los niveles, es curioso como bajas la guardia en los primeros y luego se hacen tan difíciles que tienes que estar 10 minutos viendo que hacer jaksdjak
Desde que me explicaste el juego sentí mucho interés en él, creo que puede ser entretenido y me gusta su estética minimalista y tierna. :))
