Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
From Intel!
Based on the intel we managed to gather things don't look pretty balling at all.
China has decreed martial law on a billion people and the stories raveling out of there does not sound good at all. There are resistance groups staging out attacks on the Chinese military and we fear that might lead to more tension.
At-least now we know after the assassination of Jin Jie things are going to go very bad, there is no positive out come on this one.
Today we might start a war.
Deep In The Heart!
A job led us to the heart of all this unrest, into the heart of China!
This is a bad place to find ourselves, especially in the midst of all this, if something happens now and we're left stranded. We will be half a world away and in a foreign country with no one to trust!
To add onto that, the civil unrest is not making this any easier. The chinese military is also on high alert because of the rioting in the streets of Shangai!
A Turn For The Worst.
Things got a whole lot worse in a matter of minutes.
We didn't get very far with the van as we proceeded through the streets we ran into a rioting and the van got stuck.
From there on we crossed a few streets and snuck through a few alleys as we made our way to the target hotel.
What we didn't expect to see was Chinese spec-ops patrolling the area with choppers and armed soldiers on the ground.
This might be a tough one to crack at!
We Just Started A War!
We were ready to engage once we got into the buildings elevator, so close yet so far away from getting out of this ticking time bomb!
An emotional moment turned into a adrenaline pumping one! Pac told Irish that he really needed to phone Dunn's wife and talk to her. A bit late now ey!
Until we realized we were on the wrong floor... Things escalated from there onwards!
I just had to pop this guy, I had to... It was like an instinct that kicked in and I had to relieve myself!
The Lobby War.
Things did indeed escelate into a real fucked up situation and the only way out of this one was to fight our way out of it! That's all we can do now!
The bed is made we just need to sleep in it!
I actually like this screenshot, it depicts the sheer chaos quite nicely!
More trouble lurking around and this time it's no joke. We got some serious fire power pointing towards us, we might not ever leave Chinese soil again!
A Unexpected Turn.
Well this is our floor and that was our room.
Two Chinese soldiers tried entering the barred room and all of a sudden a huge explosion goes off, the problem ids that our VIP was in that room.
There is no way anyone survived the, no way!
Turns out Kovic was one step ahead of the game, he made sure to move rooms just incase something like this happened.
We now had to get a way out of all this, this real fucked up situation!
Now we've got one slowing us down as well, okay it is the VIP that I am sent to rescue but sheesh, one weak link in a chain weakens the entirety of it right!
We have to get him and ourselves out of here as fast as possible!
A Way Out Up High.
We made it to the roof, finally. Now the problem was that we had no choice but to escape now. We are caught between a rock and a hard place and turning back is no option anymore!
There was a plan though, Kovic had some piloting knowledge and we just had to get him to the chopper. He can do the rest of it!
So fight we will have to!
We Made It Sort Off.
Well we did make it to the chopper but at a very high price!
The VIP got shot just before he got into the helicopter, this meant worse things for us. Luckily the VIP wasn't dead at this point and had some chance of surviving, we just had to get him out as fast as possible.
On the other hand... this meant we had to stay and fight our way out of this one and it ain't going to be easy!
A Long Hard Fight.
We had no choice but to fight our way back down the building encountering a great deal of enemies along the way down, we ran into numerous problems, such as stranded civilians and the worst of all TANKS!
Yeahp we ran into one with every single street we tried to cross, they were literally everywhere all at once! So we had to blow up a few of them in the process as well!
What was concerning is the fact that China got EMP'd which is basically a nuclear device exploding in the atmosphere above said location.
This literally crippled every electrical device!
But at-least we made it out alive right!

In regards to recent Battlefield games, I think 4 is by far my favourite. The story, despite being a little thin at parts, was really fun. I loved the environments it places you in, that difference in land, air, and sea. The multiplayer though, I put stupid amounts of hours into that side of things. I almost never got bored rotating through all the different weapons and play styles.
I would exclusively play hardcore servers as to keep things fast and feeling difficult. You'd have to really push and plan your moves around the map given how easy it was to die. It made those moments in conquest feel so much more impactful when a side does manage to gain a map advantage. And the whole map just felt like chaos. Especially with how much more threatening encountering a vehicle felt. The games after 4 just couldn't cut it for me. Too much handholding and changes that removed the pacing for me.
Yeahp, I have to agree with you on numerous things.... the campaign was a little thin, too thin actually but it had a good story line! Very good actually.
As for the multiplayer aspect it was wild as hell! It's a shame the servers died out ey... I've got like 1.5k hours in multiplay with BF4 🤣🤌
And for the games after 4... well they never really cut it for me either... although I heard Battlefield 2042 is pretty great? I have never tried before though!
But replaying the campaign again now after 10 years! Feels amazing!!
