Now as much as it actually shames me... I absolutely love the Mass Effect franchise however I've never ever played number one... Kind of sad isn't it!!

The OG first one can be a bit of a pain because of the outdated controls however ME1 in the LE updated all of that stuff! Either way you really should play the first game as the story is great, especially the side missions involving cerberus!
