Have you ever wondered what happens in the life of an airport security guard? Can you imagine being in charge of security in one of the busiest places in the world? Well, I tell you that coincidentally there is a game that allows you to immerse yourself in this experience and be able to take on the challenge of protecting and directing an airport terminal. I'm talking to you about nothing more and nothing less than Airport Security.
I discovered this game a few days ago when I happened to be looking for a new one to play. It had been months since I had downloaded a new one, and the truth is that I was quite bored of always playing the same thing.

I started checking it on Google Play and as soon as I saw it it caught my attention. As a fan of games similar to Papers Please, which I talked about in a previous post a long time ago. The idea of immersing myself in this similar world seemed novel to me. Without hesitation, I decided to give it a try, especially to explore its similarities with one of my favorite games.
Playability
As I said at the beginning of Airport Security, we have complete control over the security of an airport terminal. We have to maintain order on site, for example from detecting suspicious passengers to thoroughly inspecting luggage for contraband, every decision we make has a direct impact on the airport.
One of the things that impressed me the most was the variety of situations and tasks that can be presented. Some very similar to Papers Please and others very different. Let's see them:
Approve or deny
Screenshot
One of the first similarities between the 2 games is the responsibility to approve or deny travel permission to passengers or arrest them directly. Just as in Papers Please, where you must decide whether to allow or refuse people to enter your country, in Airport Security you are faced with the same task, but in the context of an airport.
This seemingly simple decision has consequences and can trigger a series of in-game events. It is exciting to see how a seemingly simple action can have a substantial impact on the development of the story.
Inspect documents

Another notable similarity is the task of inspecting documents. In both games, players are faced with the task of verifying whether the information given by passengers matches the documents presented. In simple words looking for discrepancies.
From verifying if it is the same person in the photograph to making sure the age and name match the records, this task requires attention to detail and observational skills. I must say I am really bad at this part hahaha.😅😅
X-Ray
Screenshot
Also present in both games is security scanning, where we have to pass passengers through X-rays to check if they are carrying weapons, prohibited objects or pets. Haha.😅
If we find something suspicious we will not only have to stop the person, but frisk them and remove those objects. You must remember what part of the body they were in to find them easier.
Suitcases
Screenshot
That's not all, in addition to dealing with passenger inspection, we also have to deal with their suitcases How? Well, we have a couple of fun options. We can either use a scanner to see what's inside or rely on the keen sense of smell of our four-legged friends, the dogs.
And yes, you heard right, we have contraband detection dogs. This unique feature adds a touch of fun to the task of inspecting suitcases, making it a slightly more realistic experience. Haha.😅
Interrogatories

But wait, the fun doesn't end here, we can also take on the role of detectives, conducting interrogations. This to discover the truth behind the suspicious passengers we have arrested during each day.
But beware, it is not as simple as it seems, every question and answer counts, as passengers will try to trick us or persuade us with bribes to hide the truth. It is necessary to be attentive to every detail and choose our words wisely, as a bad decision could lead us down the wrong path with a guilty person free and an innocent one arrested.
I personally found this feature very original, because I had not tried it in other similar games.
Improvements in the Game Store
In Airport Security, the money you earn by completing daily tasks can be used to improve the working environment and offer additional services to passengers, making our terminal an even more pleasant, efficient and profitable place of course hahaha.😅 For example let's take a look at some of them:
Improved Working Tools.
You can use your earnings to improve your working tools, such as the computer, scanner, information display and the appearance of the terminal in general and even your own. Haha.😅

Passenger Services
In addition to upgrading your equipment, you can also invest in additional services to enhance the passenger experience. You can create a cafeteria to offer food and beverages, build a library to provide entertainment during waits.
You can also install pay phones for added convenience and add more comfortable seating for a more pleasant waiting experience. Best of all, these services will give you additional earnings on top of your salary which is pretty low haha.😅
As your airport grows and expands, you can reinvest your profits into further improving the terminal. From expanding waiting areas to installing new amenities and services.

Well friends that's Airport Security. As you can see it is quite an interesting game with some features that make it a lot of fun. In my opinion it is a game to which you can give a chance.
It offers a good amount of tasks, which make it enjoyable and not a boring game. For me it is recommended.
In fact I leave you the link to the official trailer and the Google play in case you still want to know more and also I leave here my post about Papers Please the game we use to compare this one.
Without further ado I'll say goodbye for today, but don't worry I'll be back with more soon. Thank you very much for reading, if you want you can leave me in the comments your opinions about the game or if you already knew it before. Have a great day. Regards.

Reminds me of a classic game which is about this, but way harder! If you remember it, please, let me know too. Works essentially like the first part and all. But I remember it would always end with...
