Are you READY for CROWNREND the New HIVE game
To be honest, I have not really been impressed with web3 games or blockchain games as generally they are just NFT trading card games. And perhaps because I thought trading cards was something you did as a small child, it was not exactly exciting to me. Or they are usually ages old before I know about them and are just playing catch up.
However, I was very intrigued and eager to try out CrownRend as it is a strategy game developed by the creator of the Hive/discord @FRIDAYbot that I use and Hive Witness @deathwing and his straight talking partner in crime @mrtats.

To create your kingdom, a one-time payment of 19.429 HIVE is required.

I made sure I had Hive in my wallet and hit that button!
Well being a Rangers fan, I am keeping it simple with our motto ...
I Clicked that button and bam READY was founded!
The UI is simple enough and easy on the eye.
It is a rolling screen and you can see at the top we have our player info.
To the right of your Realm name is a share button that is actually your referral link ... Mine incase you are intrigued enough to join is .... because ....
yes ... Share this link with your friends. When they create a kingdom, you'll receive rewards!
It starts off with your Army Stats and then your Domain Stats..
ITEMS
There are Items that you own and Items that can be bought in the Marketplace.
Clicking the Marketplace shows you what is available!
and look who is the only with something to sell. I imagine they were a tester as the ID is 7 etc.
There is the BATTLE HALL
UPGRADING the Key to progression!
So my 10 dollars Game Entry purchase gave me 10 DENAR
We shall look at ARMY STATS First...
- Army Strength Cost to Upgrade 1 DENAR
- Army Tactics Cost to Upgrade 1 DENAR
- Army Morale Cost to Upgrade 1 DENAR
- Army Toughness Cost to Upgrade 1 DENAR
- Army Speed Cost to Upgrade 1 DENAR
- Army Leadership Cost to Upgrade 1 DENAR
Point to Note
The first upgrade is 1 DENAR ... The next level is 3.5 and after that it is 5.25, who knows what it is after that!
Fluff me I need to do one more then win some!!!
Rankings
Player Rankings are simple to see, and you have a KP which is basically the sum of all your Army Stats Levels.

BATTLES
A fight or battle it is called a RAID
To make a Raid all you have to do is go to the BATTLE HALL
There will be a list of available opponents in descending order of ranking,
Simply choose who you want to Raid and click the red Raid button on the right.
It is over in a flash and a notification pops up with the result.
You get 8 Raids initially as that is the maximum amount of Charges you can have. So see who you can beat and go steal their Denar!
We get 8 out of 8 wins...
However, as I was writing this post just after my battles ... Some fluffers were attacking me and stealing my Denar!
It appears there is a recharge on the raid every hour.
I have one available now.
However, I might do some market purchases to give me a leg up!
In the Battle Hall you can see under a player's name on the left hand side the amount of Denar they have.
Buying and Depositing DENAR to your account
If you want to catch up with other players or simply speed up your progress then you can purchase DENAR from the Hive Engine secondary market. This is the screenshot of 2.5 DENAR I purchased.
This then needs to be transferred into our game wallet...
Step 1 ... Click on the Blue Wallet symbol to the left of your user name in the top right hand corner.
Step 2
Enter the amount to Deposit
And click the Blue Deposit button.
Note to Withdraw just enter the amount and click the red Withdraw button!
Step 3
Your Denar is now in your game wallet.
Claiming Unclaimed Denar
Step 1 Click the Claim button found under your name on the right hand side.
Step 2 Click when claimable again.
You can claim every four hours.
Domain Stats
We have 3 in here..
- Tax Efficiency - Increases the Income received from your lands.
- Mine Level - Base Income increases 0.0001 per level. But look at the upgrade cost...Starts off at 100 Denar!
- Vault Level - Can store 5 Unclaimed Denar per level.
Sneaky Denar purchase...
So yeah I sold some unwanted layer 2 tokens and bought some 67 Denar
Upgraded Stats ...
It pulled me up the rankings to 23rd..
Fluffing game on!
PS There are stacks of things in the works and I know that Alliances/Guilds call it what you want but Team play is on the cards ...
And if you know me, I love teamwork!
My Verdict...
It is fun and I am enjoying it! I love how easy it is, strategy will come but it does not require learning a thousand and one card play options!

Getting off to a nice start, i'm trying to be F2P but i think i may have to pick up a little DENAR soon
I was going to see about just doing F2P but I thought it is early enough that picking up some DENAR was a good way to keep up with some players and not fall too far behind.
this particular game gave the golem overlord vibes back in the days and it is actually fun keeping to time just to raid and claim the token you stole from other players. it is too early enough to decide but we enjoy while we can

This seems like clash of clans and stuff though.
I easily get bored of such games 😂😂
I used to love PlayStation when it first came out. To be honest I like poker, and loads of games bore me. I remember playing some Titans game and was a big alliance leader spent a bloody fortune too.
But this just a bit of fun, check in every four hours and claim your Denar and back to what you were doing.
Good to see another game on hive, one can just play games and post and get rewarded.
This seems more my kind of game, just check it every four hours for a couple of minutes lol

It is fun though and easy to play. I like simple! Big hugs to Venezuela.

The 8 battles are finished in less than a minute and you can claim your unclaimed Denar every four hours. In reality you only need about 5 minutes a day to play, which is my level of time involvement in a game!
I mean mentally, in terms of attention. I play too many of them. :)

i would like try but its looks like a missions game per hours and actually i dont have time to be checking if the missions has done :D
Every eight hour you do the 8 missions (battles) in about 2 minutes in total.
You could spend five minutes a day on the game. I have time to spend 5 minutes a day.

A moment ago also another content about a game in the hive ecosystem. CROWNREND apparently is another very good option of the games that are in the ecosystem, it is certainly something I will keep in mind for later.

It is fun and simple, and not time consuming. You can use any link or go straight to the game, they introduced a referral link when somebody does a get of Hive for referring someone. I don't know how much it is but it won't be very much.
